Hotel Avogaria 5 Rooms, Venice

The room was nice and the staff was friendly. The room was clean and nicely furnished.

The room didn’t have WIFI and the AC wasn’t working. The light outside was also on the whole night, so one had to make sure to properly close the curtains.

This is a well managed property in venice , it consists of a 5 rooms to be rented, the owners/staff was really helpful and helped us with the mistake i made in reservation . thank you very much . location was also nice as you can get a taxi to the airport after 5 minutes of walking. This is a ground floor room with four beds and a small garden, the small garden was amazing for smoking , the rooms is big and comfy .

no washing machine in the room, other than that it was a very pleasant stay

The front desk staff were outstanding, and the virtual reception through WhatsApp was fantastic. We received a much appreciated ice cold face towel, complimentary drink, and nuts whilst we were being checked in. We were able to go to our room early and wow, what a room and private garden!! The bed was so comfortable, and the double shower, well, I can honestly say it was the best I've ever experienced!! The whole ambience of the hotel was authentic, and listening to the church bells from the garden was simply perfection. I would highly recommend staying here...room 2 👌💞 The water taxi is literally minutes away, and the bus station is about a 15-minute walk with only a few bridges to cross with cases!

The hotel was located in a hideaway spot and away from the crowds. Our room was beautiful, and since there are only five rooms in the hotel, the attention to detail and hospitality was spot on!

Booking.com failed to mention this was an 18+ hotel, and I was shocked when I was told when I showed up with my small children. The staff were accommodating and made it work as it was only for one night.

Fantastic place in the center of Venice, a cozy apartment with a big bathroom and a comfy bedroom. l with a huge bed. Also, the friendly staff was charming and helpful with telling us where to eat and helping with a taxi in the early morning. Also, there are a few great restaurants less than 5 min walk from this place.

We love the hotel and the staff, they were super carefully with us all the time! We recommended a lot!

It was the most comfortable and beautiful little boutique hotel. We even got a free upgrade with private garden area. It felt super quiet and chilled there. The best area in Venice..less touristy and amazing little cafes, restaurants in easy walk distance. Really friendly owners and all round authentic and romantic little gem X .

Be great to have little coffee machine in bedrooms.

Great calm location. Don't worry that you need to walk to the main spots. I think it is much better, than live in the crowd. Extremely nice staff. Beautiful room in the Venecian style.

In my opinion the price is a little high, but I was traveling during Carnival, so you would expect higher prices.

We had a last minute change of travel plans and I really appreciated Daria working with us to accommodate a last minute late night arrival. Also, seeing the morning sky in the little courtyard was heavenly!

I paid in my Booking.com but I haven’t stayed there.

It was humid, the pillows didn’t smell good, I smelled the mold everywhere.

We had a really beautiful room with everything you need. Everything was clean and comfortable and the staff was not only kind but they made us feel very welcome. Thank you so much!

The hotel was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the area and it is a great hotel if you want to stay away from the heaviest tourism. Although it is not far from St Marcos and you have everything you need in short distance. The hotel upgraded our room and it is one of the nicest rooms I’ve ever seen. The AC was working perfectly, the bed was comfortable and we would definitely stay there again if we’re coming back to Venice.

Good breakfast, spacious room and bathroom, AC, frigobar, many bars and restaurants around. Easy to walk through Venice. Friendly and helpful staff. Worth the money payed fot this small hotel.

the feel of the property is amazing, we loved the patio just to sit and relax. Staff were friendly and very helpful, they called a cab for us and walked with us to show us where to catch it. thank you.

Great location

The two men running the place were not very friendly. WiFi didn’t work that well, kept going in and out and was very slow. The beds were not comfortable. The room was very basic but fine. Would not stay here again

Fillipo was great. We forgot our passports in the room but had a cruise to catch, I whatsapped Fillipo and he answered straight away and arranged for a taxi to drop off the passports to the cruise terminal. It arrived well in time. It was a Sunday and not easy to get a taxi but Fillipo sorted it all out and we managed to catch the cruise. Great service and very kind of him.

The location in Dorsoduro is delightful - close to San Basilio, on a quiet little calle. Filippo was there when we needed him, but left us undisturbed so we could enjoy our week. Very helpful when it came to transporation as well.

Value for price, the rooms were super clean, service pretty exceptional
