The staff was above and beyond great! Friendly, helpful, and charming. Also, the French restaurant connected to the hotel was a lovely experience.

Loved everything about it :) If I had to list something, it would only be that the shower's water pressure could be stronger.

We had not organised breakfast. Location was excellent for access to cruise terminal

Room was not quite ready on time. Staff were apologetic but obviously it as a busy time. Invoicing system seemed a little confusing with two pending payments at one stage 4 days after the stay.

You can hear a bit of noise from outside. It was quite noisy on a Saturday night, but otherwise everything else was great.

Large hotel with a French Boutique feel. Spacious room within a few blocks (walking distance) of the Vancouver Ship port & convention center and near shopping center and public transport as well as walking distance from Gas Town cafes & shops. Staff exceptional throughout the hotel and cafe with easy check in and luggage storage. Delicious breakfast served at Alouette - poached eggs were perfect. Gym & Pool next door at Y.

Very beautiful and charming! Modern convenience but European ambience. Everyone was so helpful and kind.

We came in on a cruise ship and it was just a short walk to get to the hotel. Had a full size suitcase and was not a problem, and I'm 72.

This is a hotel with auld style charm. The layout and furnishings are more French/european, but everything was very comfortable and well laid out. The bedroom and sitting room are separated by the bathroom and closet area, and there are pocket doors, so it functions well . The staff are exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast at the adjoining French restaurant was first rate. All in all an enjoyable experience. It is a short walk to the waterfront and the metro station is a block away.

Location perfectly situated downtown a stones throw from Robson Street for retail therapy, a very short stroll to Canada Place where you can have a meal overlooking the magnificent harbour and listen to amazing buskers or catch excursions. The most professional obliging staff who make you feel welcome and assist in every way possible.

Excellent location. Short walk to waterfront area. Hotel was very clean and staff were very pleasant and helpful. A complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates were in our room as we were celebrating special birthdays. Thank you.

The air conditioning was very loud and made it very difficult to sleep, even when it was switched off it would make noise.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! I especially appreciated how eco-friendly they are — they use L’Occitane toiletries, which are my absolute favorite. My room had one bedroom and a bright living area that got plenty of natural light. It was quiet and peaceful every day, which made it so relaxing. The hotel also gave me access to the gym and offered free bikes, which was a perfect way to explore the city and nearby parks. The location was excellent — very central and close to everything. For the price, it was absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay Le Soliel. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The location is very central and close to Canada Place. The rooms are large and very comfortable. We would definitely choose to stay here again

The unique small family owned hotel with a touch of France with very friendly helpful staff. The location is a two minute walk from tour departure points and Barrard Station and the Alouette Restaurant which is part of the property serves large servings of all the best of French cuisine. We really enjoyed our stay.

We booked a Queen suite but the bed definitely felt smaller than a queen but it was hardly an issue for an overnighter, but may be more of a problem for others

Great location in centre of Vancouver, easy to walk, cycle or public transport everywhere. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and very clean. Staff were helpful. A good breakfast included in the hotel rate is provided in adjoining restaurant, however additional items are charged which could add a lot to the cost.

Breakfast was very good but think the system needs to be a bit more flexible.

The room was fabulous and loved the bathroom products . All staff were very helpful. Also let us have a late checkout complementary. Was most appreciated.

The location is excellent, and the breakfast was also good. All the staff were kind, and they kept my luggage after checkout.

One thing — the hotel asked me to install an app for a smart key before I arrived, which was a bit bothersome. But actually, when I got to the hotel, most of the procedures were done manually. I didn’t even use the smart key at all

I checked in quite late..around 9.30 after flying into YVR from London UK. I was exhausted and eager to get to bed and have a good nights sleep. The room was very nice…but,not long after I went to bed..the AC in the room came on and it was SO loud! Woke me up, I got up to search for my ear plugs and went back to sleep. AC came on again…so I got up to try and turn it off altogether. I thought I had…but no. I had to be up very early..so, not a good.night. I left the hotel at 6am before the day staff arrived. I went back to the hotel around noon and reported the issue to the staff. I also reported that when the hot tap in the bathroom was turned on..the noise was like thunder! Again, really loud. Something wrong with the pipes. The staff person was very apologetic…but she did mention that other guest had commented on the AC being noisy. I was allocated another room…and was given a voucher for breakfast..nice touch. The second room was much quieter..I spent 2 more nights.
