Hotel Le Soleil, Vancouver

I loved the milk, cookies, and a Paris key chain with a lovely letter from the manager. It made everything that much better!

The property is well decorated with an elegant feel. The furniture and fittings were in great shape.

The heating system was quite loud.

Nice hotel, good location

As someone who suffers from migraines which are triggered by scents I did not appreciate the giant bottle of scented oil/sticks in the lobby. Also the shower was set on the handle and not the main shower nozzle and I could not figure out how to switch it to the main shower nozzle and so had to shower under the handheld thing.

The room was cozy, the interior pleasant to the eye, the air conditioning smooth to set up, the breakfast was good. The room was affordable considering the light luxury feel.

The staff at the reception was fairly cold. I didn't feel welcome, more like I am just work for them (which I guess I am, but it's still weird in hospitality). The cleaning lady on the floor asked if everything was okay, which was generally something nice to do, but again, it felt more like she was doing her duty rather than actually being interested. A note in the room said they are trying to be exceptionally clean and that I can leave a gratuity with the person in charge of that room if I am happy, which I found weird, because I would expect it as a given that a four-star hotel has clean rooms and that the cleanliness is included in the price I paid for the room...

Very close to convention centre where Vancouver Christmas Market was held. Close to transportation. The breakfasts were incredible, very generous portions. Staff was friendly and always helpful

Location was great to get walking to touristy places. The ambiance for the season was great, and the staff, in general, were charming and welcoming. No complaint.

Some other guests slammed doors at night, which made it annoying when sleeping. Maybe enforce that a bit better, but that's about it.

The location was very central & convenient to all the tourist sites. The hotel was very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming & helpful.

Really excellent location to downtown and waterfront, comfortable rooms and friendly staff, really recommend paying for the breakfast at the French bistro next door—unlike most hotel restaurant breakfasts, this one is worth every penny! Have stayed at a few different hotels in Vancouver, but this one's the best, would absolutely stay again.

We loved all of it. The attention to detail. The lovely staff. Making us feel like royalty. Will absolutely love to visit again.

My daughter and I had a little getaway; we loved the twin room with a living area, were able to walk to many of our destinations, and loved the restaurant in the lobby.

Parking was expensive but glad they had it.

TV channel selection could be better

Le Soleil is in a great location. I love the traditional Euro hotel vibe. The room was spacious and need was very comfortable.

Check-in was a bit laborious - thought it would've been a bit quicker but they wanted to see the physical credit card we booked under which was buried in my bag. Earlier the hotel had offered some online check-in thing but as we were driving I decided to do the physical thing instead. And the lifts are terrible. Takes a lot of time to wait and get the lift down a couple of floors. There were three aircon controls and each were different. One was looking almost broken and another was new but not that intuitive. Why do I need three? There's an element of tiredness about the hotel.

Friendly, professional staff throughout. Beds are super comfortable. Size of TV. Quiet, great location, fabulous restaurant, beautiful toiletries.

This time our bedroom window was screwed shut, so our bedroom was too warm. Shower wouldn’t stay on full pressure. We always have difficulty getting the Comcast to work.

Good hospital

I paid for a premier king suite but they upgraded me free of charge to a penthouse suite! Staff were all very kind and helpful with us arriving early. Also liked the access to the fitness facility next door.

$48 for parking seemed a bit expensive and wasn't really mentioned by booking.com but can't really be too surprised as it is downtown parking in a locked garage.

The location was great , in the middle of everything , the rooms were cozy and the staff were great .

The only incidence was a bill from the restaurant that we didn't eat at. And it was resolved quickly and easily without any hassle!

Love the location and the friendly staff! Always enjoy Allouette - had to order room service this time but it was still on point.

The valet was gone!! It was fine to self park but it was difficult to find a place to park then check in ….

Laundry prices could be more affordable

We were here for a conference and the hotel was very convenient for both going to the sessions and wandering around town. Loved having a separate sitting area that could be closed off from the bedroom for jet lag mornings. Very comfortable beds and the business center was very useful.
