The room was bright, clean, comfortable & spacious, the location was central, the breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful with outstanding attention to detail! The hotel itself was beautifully decorated with a French theme.

Main shower head didn’t work, just the wand. Plug in for hairdryer in bathroom didn’t work. Daily rate was quite pricey although it was one of the cheaper hotels compared to others at time of booking.

Nice quaint hotel in the center of Vancouver, close to almost everything by foot. Nice commodities in the room (little fridge, a little counter for preparing things, free water, tea and coffee). Especially pleased at the hotel's commitment to environment with the bed sheet maintenance options. The beds were extremely comfortable. Jet lag and all, you could get a good night's rest here. The views out the back to Burrard street and the skyscraper, was a good thing to taken in during the evenings and mornings. The room prep on our last night in the hotel, with ambience music, was a nice touch. Staff in the lobby were always extremely helpful. Nice fresh citric water in the lobby and free Canada Day cupcakes were pluses. A special thanks to the concierge, Jordan, for all the tips before our trip and helping to book a decent hour table at Cardero's.

It was very nice.

There wasn’t great controls on the air conditioning and the fan. It seemed there was only 2 setting for the fan either on or auto? I would have preferred to be able to turn it off for awhile but still maintain the cool setting.

Location is excellent we always stay here when we go to Vancouver, easy to get to in Vancouver, which is saying a lot, and straight out on 7a to trans can when you leave. Staff are always attentive and helpful.

Ac unit in room was very noisy.

We loved the French decor and feel of the hotel. When we arrived the staff were very helpful. Gorgeous foyer! The room was spacious, very comfortable and with great city views. The hotel is in a great location in downtown Vancouver, close to walk down to the harbour. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Vancouver.

A king bed would have been great, but the queen bed was very comfortable.

Location, excellent, in the city center. Near to places to visit and harbor/sea walks. Easy accessible building. Staff very helpful and pleasant, clean and comfortable. Convenient for access to transport links e.g., trains, buses and ships.

The hotel is in a great location, central to everything and very safe. No transients hanging around outside. The lobby is beautiful and smells amazing (I even took a photo of the scent they use to find at home). Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, helpful, sincere and well spoken. They had great recommendations for restaurant and activities. Best of all, the staff were super welcoming and nice to our kids. They had a travel crib set up for us, and the sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable and clean, freshly made. The valet parking is convenient and safe, and really fast to get the car back whenever we needed it. Driving around the city, especially the dodgy areas like gastown where transients rule the sidewalks, we had a newfound appreciation for what a beautiful area this hotel is in. We certainly lucked out.

There was a problem with the AC in our room, but it wasn’t an issue because as soon as we told someone they sent a technician and when he couldn’t fix it they immediately moved us to another room. They handled the situation professionally and to my satisfaction.

Very comfortable bed, great location convenient for all Downtown. Breakfast bistro next door great breakfast with discount offered.

Air con worked well but a bit noisy at night

Welcoming reception area. Spacious, clean, and comfortable room. What really stood out for me about my visit though, was the wonderful staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly and welcoming, quick to offer a hand, and making me feel like their most important guest. I will definitely stay here again!

The close proximity to the cruise ships. All staff was extremely nice and helpful, very clean.
