SoHo Metropolitan Hotel, Toronto

We have stayed at this property 3 times now and absolutely love it. Staff is so kind. Great location and very reasonably rates considering the location of the property. I highly recommend this hotel

I think the parking price could be a bit better. I had a friend park in the same parking garage as me with the same length of stay upon leaving they were charged 26 dollars and I was charged 96.00. Price should be the same for anyone that uses it.

They listened to my request and decorated the room for my girlfriend’s bday.

The floor didn’t feel like it was too heated. The plug that stops the water from draining in the bathtub wasn’t working well. We felt like water was draining and weren’t able to have a proper bath might.

It was very clean, gorgeous, and comfy. The gym looked well-equipped, and the two swimming pools made my day! I got a wonderful surprise by having my room decorated with flowers, balloons and some candies after I told the staff it was my Wedding anniversary! My special thanks to Xavier and Thom.

Our room was excellent and had nice touches like a heated floor in the bathroom and bottled water which was replenished every day. Staff members were also very friendly. Our room was quiet which made for a good night's sleep and the hotel is in a good location for exploring Toronto.

We had dinner in the restaurant once. Both of our pizzas were cold when served and we were also charged $8.50 for water when every other place we dined had provided free water.

The room was fine.

Breakfast was a joke. No cereal, no choice of bread, no sausage etc. Very thin, bland and overcooked, overpriced omelette. Place appeared to be trying for the ‘trendy cafe’ vibe. Because I and 7 colleagues had our flight cancelled and there was nothing else available had to book 8 rooms at this very expensive hote. We were only there for a sleepover and after paying all that money we expected something ‘above normal’ at breakfast and not something that a roadside inn would put to shame. By the way, we’re a touring band of musicians who stay in over 100 hotels a year so we know what value is and how important breakfast is to a traveler.

Staying at this hotel was a great experience, almost everything was perfect. We will definitely be staying here again. We spend some time at the gym and pool and we really like both.

The beds could be improved. The mattress in our room was not too comfortable and it should be replaced but besides that, everything else was perfect in our room and the hotel amenities.

The location is great. The bedrooms were a great size and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. I particularly want to call out the girl at reception who checked us in ver late on Wed night/very early on Thur morning (7/8th Aug) I didn’t catch her name but She was exceptionally friendly.; a credit to your hotel and she makes a very good first impression. 👏👏

Very clean, beautiful room, great location, and very friendly, attentive staff.

One tiny thing - on our first day we could only get lukewarm water in the shower. It could be that it was a popular time of day for using the shower, as apart from that one instance the temperature was great!

All staff members were friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful. Nish at the front desk helped in providing a refrigerator in our room. Xavier and his concierge team were fabulous and always willing to help us when booking certain visits around Toronto, such as the Niagara Falls tour and tickets to see a baseball game. The room was spacious, with an excellent layout. The pool and gym were very good. We loved the ice machine on our floor. The location of the SOHO hotel was fantastic - near restaurants, convenience stores, as well as the CN Tower and the Rogers Centre.

When the room was cleaned, drinking glasses were not replaced, so we had to call up for them (they were promptly brought up). The cleanliness could have been a little better as surfaces were dusty/ not wiped down, i.e., table in room, top of toilet cistern. The layout of the pool and changing rooms meant that after a swim, you would have to enter the gym dripping water onto the floor to get to the changing room. A design flaw for sure.

Room: I did not expect it to be big. I was checking the photos posted on Booking.com and when we arrived in the room, the room was massive. Bathroom: It has everything you need, it is clean and spacious. Location: walking distance to almost everything. lobby: It smells good and fresh Staff: They were very friendly and accommodating Parking: The basement parking space is safe and reasonable for the price.

Aircondition - we went during summertime, so the temperature outside was around 75-80F, there were times we needed the room to be cooler but the temperature was just at 75F and would not go any lower.

100% recommend this property!! Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us after the property we had originally booked told us upon arrival that they could not accommodate us. The SoHo Hotel in Toronto (and their staff), is exceptional!! The property is very clean, the room we stayed in was superb!! Clean, comfortable and very safe. The price of the room was slightly more than I had anticipated paying, but was well worth it. I cannot say enough good things about this property!

Excellent location for attending the Rogers Center

No rooftop venue but close to the Bisha hotel that has a rooftop pool and bar open to the public so still great

It is pricey

We specifically chose this hotel for its location. And we didn’t have high expectations, but we were really surprised after the arrival. First of all, the parking was with no problem for 24h and for a reasonable price. The room was amazing. Very friendly staff. We will be coming back for sure. Thanks!

There was no kettle to boil water for tea

Exceptional service from all staff. The location is ideal, close to shopping, restaurants, Exhibition grounds and Rogers Centre.

Location was great for where we needed to be.

Where to start! This hotel is absolutely fabulous! All the staff were polite, helpful and friendly. The concierge was amazing, booked our transport back to the airport, gave us complimentary water while we waited (it was a very hot day!) and helped with our luggage. All the staff were always on hand to offer assistance. Our room was HUGE with picture windows overlooking the street below and the CN Tower in the distance. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. The facilities in the room were great and complimentary Molton Brown toiletries was an added luxury bonus! The hotel is in a great location and within easy walking distance of the CN Tower and lots of other attractions and restaurants/bars. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

The room was cozy, beautifull and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the layout of the room and the dressing area. The best thing by far was the staff. Everyone was very friendly and they responded swiftly and professionally to all my needs. I highly recommend this hotel and will be sure to stay there again the next time I'm in Toronto.

The room was one of the best we have ever stayed in. The bed was very comfortable, closet was so spacious and the bathroom was incredible. It was well designed and thought out. From the moment we checked in everyone was extremely helpful, the concierge was so helpful and pleasant. Thank you all for making this a great experience.

The hotel staff, on entry , were very nice and had upgraded our room as it was our 30th wedding anniversary. There was also a written card from the hotel manager which was a lovely touch and appreciated.
