The minibar was empty .

It was a beautiful property The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful Couldn’t ask for a more attentive staff Very welcoming

Our bathroom was not cleaned well I found a random pill on the floor The used towels were not replaced The shower was leaking into the toilet area

Generally the property is very nice. Once issues were brought to management’s attention, extra effort was made to make it right - although it is difficult to unwind a bad experience.

My wife had a horrific checkin experience even though she was on the reservation. Also - Notice of room being ready not provided even though she explained she needed access asap for privacy/work reasons. Amenities that had been ordered in advance were not in the room. Multiple items (safe; small cooler) in the room did not work.

I thought...the Ritz...and expected it to be much more glamours than what met my eyes. Ritz in down town toronto is...tired, dated even. The staff who checked us in almost got me to pay my prepaid room as he mixed up my name with another guest's...and would have given me the wrong room type if i hadn't insisted on what I have booked. They were apologetic about it and of course everyone makes mistakes, no damage done. Stay was...ok. Really nothing to write home about for the price I've paid, but if you're a marriot member or are looking for a business hotel, this does the job. It wasn't an experience for me and full disclosure I only stayed one night. Service and people overall were great despite the mix up, everyone was helpful.

i thought the beds were comfy. there isn’t much else i appreciated honestly

the communication with the hotel was inconsistent. i asked that my card be pre charged and it was a headache…i got there and it was never done. i asked that the room rate not be disclosed and it was written on the key card envelope. it wasn’t that nice for the money you pay…the hotel could use some updating.

The Ritz Carlton was beyond exceptional and I recommend anyone traveling to Toronto to stay at this location. The customer service is unmatched.

Staff was close to perfect. The room was very comfortable.

There was no game room for the kids. It could be useful on a rainy day. The options of 'treasures' on the treasure hunt should not include candy. I informed the staff that no candy was allowed but they still kept this choice for my kids. It was not a deal breaker but it's also an easy fix for next time.

60$ for valet /day was simply ridiculously overpriced and your luggage carts should be available to your clients, I didn't need a bellhop.

Very central, the hotel is very well located. Rooms are ok and the team is really nice.

Breakfast is too long when you are there to work. Rooms are ok but lights are missing or not working. Not a really specific experience, I was waiting more for this standing and price.

The inside of the hotel was beautiful. I really appreciate the extra decorations that was provided to our room for our Anniversary.

The hotel seemed very compact with very few amenities. The rooms were not as elaborate as we expected and the location was not idea for us. For the price of our stay it did not seem worth it.

the automated toilet with heated seat and all kind of massage stuff. the automated light which switched on during the night by just entering the bathroom when I did not want to switch it on and it switched off automatically when I just sat still on the toilet

location very close to our conference event, view on CN tower, comfortable bed. nice living area. nice gym. pool was ok. Japanese modern toilet

value for the money. had a better room at the Germain for cheaper (comfort, luxurious room). room at the ritz seemed smaller than on pictures.

I love everything at Ritz Carlton..from their beautiful suites to spa amenities. Definitely 5 star experience.

The location of the Hotel is great, you are close to all activities and points of interest are a walking distance. The rooms are clean and furnished with everything that you want. I had a special request about my wife's birthday celebration and the hotel really did well in acknowledging my request and making her feel special on her day. Good Job

I think it is good to give option to the guest in using the mini bar inside the room and furnishing it with few items

Staff were wonderful. Front desk were fabulous - friendly and knowledgeable. Guest services ensured that my son received balloons and treats for his 6th birthday. Concierge were incredibly friendly and polite. Staff appear to have had a high level of training and it really shows. Location is great - downtown but quiet. The outside bar and restaurant was a great space with more fabulous staff, very good food and cocktails.

Pool area was a little dirty and I had to report that the jacuzzi tub was so dirty it was unusable. Also, despite the fact that we we have children, I felt that the hotel should better police the rules of the pool. Older children screaming and throwing balls. Not pleasant for anyone else trying to use the facilities.

Staff service was exceptional. Broke my makeup remover and asked front desk for some, they brought it up very quickly. Staff respect the privacy sign very much. Super professional service! The rooms and amenities are clean and tidy. Although we did not get the view of CN tower but the other side is still pretty good.

Parking only has valet and its $60/night.

The staff were extremely pleasant and sincere about making my stay fantastic. The hotel is beautiful and the Club Lounge is a slice of heaven!

Having to leave

Room was spacious, well appointed and absolutely spotless. We were on the 16th floor and had an amazing view of Lake Ontario and the CN Tower. House keeping was spot on with clean towels and bottled water everyday. Breakfast was excellent with a huge range of hot and cold, buffet and a la carte. Staff incredibly polite and helpful.

There really wasn't much not to like. However, the pool is a little small and there isn't much outside seating. The pool isn't manned by staff which meant it was incredibly noisy and busy at times and people were in the pool with wine glasses. Given its location and heritage it is a shame that the hotel does not have a roof top pool, which would be most welcome in the summer months. Having said this the hotel is still worth a stay.

An outdoor terrace off the pool

It was impeccably clean and remarkably beautiful. The staff members were extremely pleasant and welcoming. I really enjoyed Club Lounge access and the variety of healthy, delicious foods. The immence amount of sunlight flooding our room further elevated my spirit. The bed and linens were a dream and last but definitely not least, the electronic bidet was an exciting adventure!

Maybe the elevator could be slightly less noisy in the night. It's not a big deal but I can hear it operating while trying to fall asleep. The swimming pool could also be bigger.

Everything is so perfect

It exceeded our expectations. This trip was for my 12 year old daughter. It was exactly what was needed walking distance to attractions, excellent spa accommodations, excellent decor, city views included CN tower/Rodgers Stadium/Lake Ontario, front desk staff exceptional, clean hotel from room/hallways/pool area, quiet and relaxing 😌. The hotel experience is consistent from Montreal to Toronto. Normally I do not like hotels except this one, if the area doesn't have one, I will not go. Thank you for giving my family a chance to relax and reset.

Beautiful room with very accommodating, friendly and helpful staff. Staff went out of their way to say hello when we passed and were very helpful in finding and choosing locations for us to dine.

There were a few mistakes made upon checking in, however were quickly remedied.
