Fairmont Royal York Hotel, Toronto

Great location across from the station, easy to get to when coming into town on the train. Bed was comfy and room was spacious.

Room was a little too warm and I couldn't get it any cooler, the air-con seemed outdated. Could clearly hear the people in the adjacent room.

The location is great though it is in a very busy area. All places were easy to walk. After you enter the lobby you already feel good about the hotel because it is so big and well decorated. You will have no complaint about the hotel.

The bathrooms could have been bit more spacious. They are bit congested. The lobby and interior is bit dark (may be intentional) but I'd have loved a brighter interior.

Valet parking, location, staff are great, food is excellent

Our room wasn’t as nice as previous stays, we would have loved to stay on a higher floor. We paid for a deluxe king room and it just wasn’t as nice as previous stays.

The location was excellent, the splendour of the building and decor. Room staff were friendly and helpful, as was Sylvia, the exceptionally friendly and helpful concierge who directed us to St Lawrence Market and the distillery area where we had a great time exploring! Our room even had a view of the CN tower which looked great lit up at night.

Valet parking 70 CAD per day. Wlan 15 CAD per day. Wtf… the room +300 CAD per night, isn‘t it enough to get free service?

Fantastic location, check in staff very friendly. Gym/swim facilities a good way to relax at the end of the day.

We had four (two adults, two teens) in a room but had to contact reception several times for extra bath robes/mugs/etc - the housekeeping staff only seemed to leave enough for 2-3 people.

Ideal location weir travel by rail (GO transit or VIA rail).

Location was amazing, access to pool and decent gym. Design was very nice and lovely bars/restaurants. Staff was very friendly. The price for room was decent for 5 star hotel and the location.

The size of the double room was small with very limited space for suitcases. The size of the bathroom was also small, difficult to fit 2 people at the same time.

Rooms were very small and not worth for the amount paid.

This is a vast and historic hotel in a landmark location. There is a palpable sense of being transported back to a glamorous 1950s holiday movie. Excellent coffee in the room.

It is very expensive even to the extent of trying to charge for internet access in addition to the cost of the room. The room, though comfortable, was a bit cramped.

The inside of the hotel is beautiful. It felt like being transported in time. The staff was so friendly. The hotel room itself was tinier than what we are used to, but the view was lovely. The coffee and tea were OK, but it would’ve been nice to have coffee that had caffeine as everything was decaf. We used the pool a couple of times and the kids really really enjoyed it.

I guess nowadays I think it should be automatic to have non-feather pillows. I also wish we wouldn’t have to ask for a small fridge. But otherwise it was a nice place. Just tiny.

The hotel is localized in central area close to the Metro/Trains Station, it makes easy you travel. The employees are kind and very supportive. If you need any adicional support, information or special request the employees are ready to help you
