- terrible service - dirty room - unresponsive stuff Basically, if you want to pay a lot of money and get your wedding anniversary or any other important holiday ruined-come to this place.

The stay was generally pleasant, the room was comfortable, and the overall experience was fine.

Poor value for money – for the price paid, I expected higher quality and better service.

Very disapointing The only person who made so much efforts to us was Ruth Dawouny. She was tge only light over this hotel which is a real piece of history, but shaming its name and.history

This place looks like a 5-star but definitely functions like a 3-star motel. ALL staff is careless and i’ve never heard about hospitality. Reception quite literally never picked up the phone. We were woken up yesterday after midnight with a false fire alarm which they claimed the sensor made a mistake. There was some event or wedding in the courtyard, I was with closed windows in my room and could hear the very loud music, called them- no answer of course, went down- they just could care less and said they can do nothing. How about don’t charge your guests these prices and then put them through this ?! if you want to make events at the hotel, at least make sure there is silence in the room when closing the windows. Shame that after so many bad reviews mentioning similar things they’re still not doing any better

We had a terrible experience at the Jaffa hotel - from room functions that didn’t work and no one answered at front desk to help, through hotel staff who snuck in a bunch of their friends who completely ruined the swimming pool atmosphere with yelling and inappropriate language, with breakfast in which main dishes were not served and no one checked why although we asked, and of course - until a long email we wrote about our experience to which no one bothered to answer. I would have never paid the prices they charge if I knew I should expect a service level of a motel.

1) Rude workers, especially vallet parking - laziest person I ever saw, waited for the car after check-out for 30 minutes and got 0 help with luggage. 2) Top management also so unprofessional, instead of simple “sorry” for an issue with technical worker , who carried out repairs with a drill early in the morning - first said it was not their staff. Oh yea, some guest of hotel decided to make renovation by 7am in the morning on Sunday? Zero responsibility, again. 3) Cheap rooms, zero noise reduction. Impossible to sleep if neighbour decide to watch TV. For sure your sleep will be interrupted in the morning by a vacuum cleaner cleaning the hallway. Totally overpriced and overrated hotel. Was there twice (first time it was so loud marriage party Inside hotel until late night, but I got discount for the stay and decided to gave the second chance for this hotel - it was a mistake), will never come again for sure.

The property is beautiful but I was very disappointed with alot of things that should’ve happened

First of all I stated beforehand that It was a birthday trip and asked for the room to be set up with a nice birthday welcome, i hot an email back stating that there is no problem and that they will set up something nice for us, that didn’t happen. In addition it took almost 2 hours for our luggage to get from the valet to our room, so we waited and asked again and again only to be dismissed by the staff. Disappointing, we lost time for us to be in the pool. In addition the outlet in the vanity room was not working so we had to do our hair with no mirror infront of us. The hot water in the room was not working in the shower, only in the tub. For the price we paid we expected everything to be outstanding. We left disappointed

The staff was consistently incredible! Incredibly attentive, helpful with every demand, and a pleasure to speak to. I will definitely be back.

Beautifully restored and refurbished hotel in former 1887 built hospital in great location .High quality staff and services. Not cheap but worth considering for a special occasion or visit .

Room facing the pool and yefet st was very noisy (closing the windows didn't really help) pool was closed even though weather was nice - heated pool can be expected in this price range spa - only seperated hamam

I liked that it was not self service and there were a few options and not just one type of breakfast. It was a very traditional Israeli breakfast.

We didn't have good weather so it would have been nice if there were more options of things to do indoors, wine tasting maybe.

Incredible hospitality, seriously, best I've gotten. Friendly, accommodating, curious. Beautiful room, exquisite view. And the food.. some of the best I've eaten in the country!

Great hotel, beautiful atmosphere, great service and amazing food. Before we arrived we already had quite some help from the concierge (Aviad) and during our stay from Ariela. They were very helpful with arranging transportation, booking padel courses and restaurants. The last night we had dinner at the Jaffe, which was really tasteful, maybe the best food we had in Tel Aviv that week.

Relatively expensive, but worth it

Staff were great and the architecture of the historic building and the pool were superb.

Only one hotel bar available, which was in a highly air conditioned reception space. Disappointed to not see a second bar in the former chapel be open. Rooms were lovely but definitely on the small side.

The lighting in the room was horrible and the small sofa was awful.

The Jaffa perfectly represents the meeting of different worlds: old and new, ancient history and architecture with modern technology and amenities, coupled with outstanding hospitality.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff were super friendly (I remember Roman being particularly friendly and helpful during breakfast) and they couldn't do enough for you, it really did make it feel like luxury. The hotel itself was stunning - wonderful decor externally around the hotel and beautiful pool and surroundings.

My only criticism is that the room felt a little dated, but I wouldn't say this diminished our experience.

The Jaffa was the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff were incredible and could not do enough for us.

we were totally satisfied with the location of the property

We were on the second floor and there was only the service lift that one could use to get to the second. floor . This presented a problem as my wife was not able to climb the 2 flights of stairs to get to the second floor. The management did arrange for us to be able to get through the service door but unfortunately there appeared to be a technical problem and the door did not always open which meant we had to go to reception a few times to get the problem sorted out. I suggest that should be sorted out as what happens if there will be other guests who also have problems walking up and down stairs. If the problem like this cannot get sorted out then you should have a note somewhere in your advertising mentioning that potential customers who do have a problem walking up 2 flights of stairs would be allocate a room. on another floor so they would not have the problem we had.

second stay and absolutely loved it once again. hotel is a beautiful building - great ambiance. staff are super helpful and did all that they could to makes sure our stay was amazing. was there with my parents and other half and we all loved it. will definitely return again. breakfast beautiful and so well looked after by Roman every morning and the rest of the team. love the pool are - cold towels, gray poolside service. food exceptional whether in room, poolside etc.

only downside this trip was that our room was smaller but didn’t impede enjoyment. bed super comfortable.

the hotel is very well located, small haven of peace. the breakfast is very complete, a real feast. the people at the reception, our concierge, the team of bars, the pool, the restaurant, all made our stay a real success. Thanks to them.

All was excellent!

Beautiful combination of old (historical) elements and modern design. Great service and very helpful staff in case of problems. Perfectly located, very close to Old Jaffa and the Mediterranean Sea. Fantastic rooms, beds, and excellent breakfast.

Breakfast was expensive at £45, far too much variety of buffet food and breads, plus choices of a menu. Not enough guests for breakfast to use it all, it seems a waste, there was enough food to have had breakfast, lunch and dinner. I would have preferred to have half the amount of choice and pay half the price. All the staff were wonderful. The hotel was very clean.

There was a strong perfume smell in the reception area which was powerful, apparently it was designed to come out of the air conditioning system. The lighting in the bedroom was very dim. I had to keep using my phone light or go to the bathroom to read things. No bedside cabinet but a very low small shelf attached to the side of the bed.

Expensive for what you got. Drain smell was unpleasant and you could hear upstairs room flushing toilet very clearly. Room far too small and overlooking main road.
