Ambience Hotel, Taipei

Everything is perfect. Highly recommended.

The room was compact but had everything I needed. The shower was hot and worked well, the bathtub too. I'm not sure I would bother getting a corner room next time, because the glass walls are frosted over, so you don't get any kind of wraparound view I would expect, and most of the extra square footage is a big bathroom. The free laundry is awesome, you don't even need to bring your own detergent. Just be careful of the time the laundry room closes or your clothes will be taken down to the front desk. Front desk staff was helpful and breakfast was not extensive, but everything they provided was a good choice and good quality. It's nice they have things available on off hours, like coffee, instant noodles, cookies, etc. And there are some good restaurants nearby, convenience stores, of course, and even some great massage places, including a 24h one!

I don't think the A/C-heating in my room worked well. The walls in my room were completely bare -- just one piece of artwork would make the place feel more homey. The fancy lamp was nice though.

We had a fantastic experience at Ambience Hotel Taipei and would highly recommend it! The overall room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making our stay very pleasant. We also appreciated the wide variety of shows available to watch. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of options to choose from, and most items were enjoyable. On top of that, the hotel thoughtfully provides snacks (like biscuits) and beverages throughout the day, including a coffee machine and tea. Even more impressive, there were cup noodles available at night, a very thoughtful and welcoming touch! The staff truly made our stay special. The front counter staff greeted us warmly before we left for the day's activities and even asked if we wanted bottled water. Housekeeping staff were equally polite, always checking in to see if we needed housekeeping. We also made use of the laundry facilities. Although there is only one washing machine, both the washer and dryer are free of charge, which is very convenient. What really stood out was the staff’s thoughtfulness - when our clothes were still drying past the designated laundry hours (10am to 9pm), they brought our laundry down and continued the drying cycle for us without us even asking. Overall, the service was attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. Ambience Hotel Taipei truly lives up to its name, and we would return to stay here again.

Taipei Main Station is a little far from the hotel. Only bus stops near the hotel but not train stations

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is free laundry (plus dryer) available. Breakfast is very good.

It's a bit far away from metro stations. Ok for us, but could be challenging for people who do not want to walk for at least 15 min to the nearest station.

Great value for money … but what stood out for me was the extreme professionalism and efficiency with the front office from check in to arranging sightseeing tours with very experienced drivers. A special mention of MS MEI who went out of her way in accommodating all our requests … sightseeing and a late check out THANK YOU MEI

The breakfast could have been a spread to include varied international cuisine. Tilted more towards the Chinese spread.

We spent 4 nights in Ambience hotel. The whole family felt extremely comfortable here. Staffs are extremely friendly, caring and helpful, speak English well. 24/7 coffee machine & light snacks, free instant noodle from 9PM which creates a homey vibe in the dining lounge. Room sizes are good compared to normal Taipei hotel. I can tell the hotel is not very new but well maintained and clean. Around 7mins walk to the nearest MRT station, 15mins from Fu Hang Soy Milk.

Breakfast was excellent and large. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and quit and AC worked well. Location, even if aprox 2km from Main station, still had good public transport options. Wifi ok.

Furniture slightly worn. Not a secure WiFi. A small gym is not a must but would have been appreciated.

Everything. This has been one of the best hotels I have ever stayed without expecting it. Service is amazing, people are so kind, so many additional facilities not even 5 stars hotels have! Breakfast is amazing, rooms are big and so clean and they have everything you need. Really a 10/10

I liked all. Only location wise is not a 10/10 but still easy access to everywhere by bus or mrt.

Breakfast was varied to suit different tastes and different selections on other days. A hot and cold drink was available at anytime which was very welcomed, especially after much sightseeings.A

Staff were always very friendly and the beds were so comfortable. The size of the room was fairly big as well. The breakfast was also pretty good and changed every day.

The property itself is fine but it is a bit of a walk from any of the train stations.

I enjoyed my stay, the rooms were big, clean along with the good amenities. I enjoyed the daily breakfast and variety offered. The staff in particular were excellent and helped us in many different ways. I would love to stay here again during my next visit to Taipei.

I think that the air-conditioning system could have been better as it was difficult to operate. Additionally, we hired the Tour Taxi Service, but our tour-guide couldn't speak English, he wasn't especially friendly and we felt cheated by the Driver and the Service itself. I would not recommend it to anyone.

We thought that the location, hotel and rooms were all great with a fantastic staff! I really enjoyed my stay and I would love to rebook again in the future if I ever fly back to Taipei. I can easily recommend this hotel to anyone.

The rooms can be a bit cold, and the air-conditioning system is a bit confusing to operate. There is only one washing machine, which I think is a problem for a hotel of that size, however, the staff were very helpful in taking care of my laundry. There really wasn't much not to like, I had a pleasant stay.

I am a frequent traveler for 35 years. I don’t think I ever stayed in a hotel with such high levels of service and attention by the staff (and I am top tier loyalty in two international chains). It is s boutique property well located to explore the city.

Great hotel, with excellent staff and facilities. Would stay again! Amazing breakfast, but also they do afternoon drinks and evening noodles! Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Also we didn't realise on the booking - but there is laundry available which is always helpful!

The staff were amazing!!! So sweet and polite and helpful at all times. The snacks in reception was a great touch, and the view from the room (we were on the 9th floor) was great!

We stayed at Ambiance Hotel in August 2025 for 3 nights and we had an awesome experience. Staff was super helpful and friendly, carrying or luggage to our room when we were waiting for the room to be ready. Rooms where bright and clean. Snacks were provided at the reception area. Most importantly the breakfast was really amazing. Great selection, changing menu and good quality!

The hotel was excellent, with a spacious room, great breakfast, and friendly helpful staff. The location was good for walking to local markets and for access to the train system. They even had free snacks in the fridge and lobby. We intend to stay here again whenever we return to Taipei.

The hotel was really nice, and my only small issue was a lack of hair conditioner, which I remedied with a quick trip to a nearby convenience store.

The stuff was very helpful and kind. They gave us all of the information that we requested. The location is very good.

The room was bigger than I expected. It was clean. Lighting was good. It'd be even better if a mini fridge is added to the room. I just spent one night at the hotel this time and didn't explore too much. I look forward to staying here again soon.

The breakfast buffet can be improved by adding eggs as regular items. If it's a bit difficult to offer fried eggs, perhaps poached eggs or scrambled eggs can be offered.

The staff is amazing, absolutely nothing a problem for them and always happy to listen and help. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was big. The bed is comfortable, but the twin beds are single beds, and a big person will find it challenging. The breakfast was excellent and the hotel has a very good coffee machine available 24 hours a day to use for free, plus there are biscuits and at 9 pm free noodle soup. The hotel is not far from the subway (15 minutes walk), and there are many restaurants around the area to eat.
