Friendly staff, big and comfortable room!

Great hotel, with excellent staff and facilities. Would stay again! Amazing breakfast, but also they do afternoon drinks and evening noodles! Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Also we didn't realise on the booking - but there is laundry available which is always helpful!

The staff were amazing!!! So sweet and polite and helpful at all times. The snacks in reception was a great touch, and the view from the room (we were on the 9th floor) was great!

We stayed at Ambiance Hotel in August 2025 for 3 nights and we had an awesome experience. Staff was super helpful and friendly, carrying or luggage to our room when we were waiting for the room to be ready. Rooms where bright and clean. Snacks were provided at the reception area. Most importantly the breakfast was really amazing. Great selection, changing menu and good quality!

The hotel was excellent, with a spacious room, great breakfast, and friendly helpful staff. The location was good for walking to local markets and for access to the train system. They even had free snacks in the fridge and lobby. We intend to stay here again whenever we return to Taipei.

The hotel was really nice, and my only small issue was a lack of hair conditioner, which I remedied with a quick trip to a nearby convenience store.

The stuff was very helpful and kind. They gave us all of the information that we requested. The location is very good.

The room was bigger than I expected. It was clean. Lighting was good. It'd be even better if a mini fridge is added to the room. I just spent one night at the hotel this time and didn't explore too much. I look forward to staying here again soon.

The breakfast buffet can be improved by adding eggs as regular items. If it's a bit difficult to offer fried eggs, perhaps poached eggs or scrambled eggs can be offered.

Very nice service and clean rooms

The staff is amazing, absolutely nothing a problem for them and always happy to listen and help. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was big. The bed is comfortable, but the twin beds are single beds, and a big person will find it challenging. The breakfast was excellent and the hotel has a very good coffee machine available 24 hours a day to use for free, plus there are biscuits and at 9 pm free noodle soup. The hotel is not far from the subway (15 minutes walk), and there are many restaurants around the area to eat.

The hotel staff called prior to my check-in to confirm with me prior to my arrival, which was appreciated. The room was spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable.

An excellent hotel that provided everything that I needed for a comfortable stay in Taipei. My room was much bigger than I was expecting (especially the bathroom) and the breakfast buffet was superb!! The staff too were incredibly friendly, especially the lovely lady who checked me in (Sally?) and I also liked the comfortable sitting area in the lobby as a place to relax. The location wasn't too bad as it's relatively close to two subway stations (about a 10 minute walk away on average...which admittedly might feel a bit longer in Taipei's humidity) and there were enough cafes and shops nearby for any supplies required. I would definitely stay here again.

I think there was a humidifier in the room that I didn't use at night as it made a bit of noise and I didn't think I'd be able to sleep with it on; however, I probably should have because I coughed like a maniac at whatever was in the air conditioning! I should point out though that this happened at every hotel I stayed in Taiwan - there was something in the rarefied air of Taiwan's hotels that my throat definitely wasn't used to (nothing serious though)

An air dryer in the room would have been nice on some days and there is some noise from neighboring rooms when they use the faucet. But this is very much too be expected give the low price; I assume this is better in the higher room categories (I stayed in the cheapest one).

Great location, superfriendly personel, complimentary minibar. Even tough it is only rated 3* in my opinion it is waaay better than many 4&5* ones. I traveled with my bike and the staff was super helpful with helping me. I wish other hotels had the same level of service.

Honestly not a single one complaint.

Front desk staff greet guests every time they enter the hotel. And they are very friendly and provide great service! There’s washing machine and dryer for use. They provide snacks and drinks during tea time.

It’s not near to the mrt station but still walkable, about 25 min to Taipei main station and Zhongshan station.

Staff was so exceptional. Sally, Mei, Eddie, Steve, I apologize I don't remember the names. But everyone, really, was exceptional. The room was very comfortable. This is not a brand new building but certainly still very comfortable. I do not hesitate to recommend. The bathroom was so generous, bathtub was lovely. My room was at the back and the view was not pleasing but I never had any traffic noise.

they have 24 hours coffee machine ,drinking water and juices available at self service free of charges in dining area for the guest, if you ae hungry or arrived late night you can find noodle at restaurant free of charges.

Quite a walk to the nearest MRT Station

The location of the hotel is just right. The room is spacious. Thanks to the staff, the lady cleaning the room, our room especially the bathroom has been super clean and very smart during our stay. I did not have any problem with wifi too. The buffet breakfast is rich with the local and global tastes. The management makes tea, coffee and the snakes available all day in the lobby, which is very nice of them. Well yes the staff, they are amazing… They are ready to assist you in any way with big smiles on their faces. All and all, it is value for money. Highly recommended.

Midnight free snack, room size. Quiet space even though the hotel is located right on the front of a major intersection.

No heater during the winter. Although when I asked, the staff was very supportive to give me the mini heater, I still think a normal heater combining with air conditioner is better. The fridge and snack bar is not easy to find. I thought it was the wall.

The staff at the front desk went above and beyond to help with finding and scheduling activities and restaurants and suggestions for finding places to eat on Chinese New Years Eve when most things are closed.

Love Ambience hotel and choose it whenever we come to Taipei! The stuff is very nice and warm, and eager to help! The room is light and spacious, with bathtub shower. Shower is separated from the bathtub and toilet with the wall so bathroom won't get wet easily. The breakfast is simple but nutritious, the hotel is also provide drinks and complimentary snacks nearly from 9pm to 5 am. There are lots of options for dining and shopping nearby, also several parks. Unlike many other hotels the checkout time is 12 pm which is very convenient.

It could get a bit noisy in the evening so I'd recommend to get earplugs.

The staff in this hotel was very pleasant. The breakfast was very nice, mix of taiwanese and western food and the options changed from day to day. There is a free to use laundry room but it was always full when we tried to use it. The hotel provides free afternoon tea and late night snacks (instant noodles). Room was nice, clean.

The bed was a little bit too soft for us, when one of us moved the other felt like on a trampoline. If we booked again we would book two single beds instead of a double bed.
