Great location near Pitt street. Friendly staff members. Walking distance to Darling Harbour and Sydney Bridge

No sound proofing of rooms. Any movement in hallways gets very noisy and disturbed sleep because of that. Bathroom tiles are worn out and need definitely repairs.

The rooms need a lot of work. Water damage and broken tiles in bathroom. Rotted plaster and grout

The room was well appointed and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were plentiful. The staff was excellent, extremely attentive and friendly. The room service is very good and quick. The location was very good, for food, sightseeing and nightlife.

The hallways are very noisy and the doors don't block much sound. The roof top night club resonates down the alley and you can hear conversations and mostly shouting and screaming throughout the nights until 3am, especially Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I assume it's more of a hotel that people stay at to party.

Staff were exceptional, Great Location, Very Comfortable beds in a well styled room. The finer details were considered, and it shows. Lovely experience.

To be completely honest, we had zero issues.

The Establishment Hotel is a hidden treasure, the location was perfect. Walking distance to Circular Quay and Wynyard Train Station so it is excellent if you’re coming from the airport. It is also a block away from the light rail (tram line) on George street. The customer service was exceptional, the room was clean and spacious. This property will go Above and beyond to make your stay comfortable.

We had no drawers in our room and if it they were present we couldn’t find them. Paper thin walls, you can hear everything including the next door neighbour upon her world being rocked so to speak. The hotel provides ear buds for the noise coming out of the bar that travels through the lifts. Pillows were very soft, which threw my neck out. If you love a firm pillow that you are not going to sink in and have no support, best to bring your own.

The room was very spacious & super clean. Loved the coffee machine. A king size bed would make this room perfect.

No restaurant for breakfast, just room service breakfast.

Very noisy in room next door, arguments and shouting and someone rang our room phonevery early Saturday morning. The hotel bars weren't open Sunday evening with no warning even though it was a Public Holiday the following day. Also, milk and bathroom amenities werent replenished Sunday night. Early start for airport in the morning with no coffee.

Location was perfect, staff were amazing and the room was great with some special touches that made it special.

The curtains in the bathroom felt cheap and nasty and I felt a bit "exposed" when I used the bath because they didn't cover the whole window. The shower gel container was hidden behind the curtains which made me feel like the world could see me in the shower as I moved the curtain out of the way to get to it. So before each shower I would get the gel and put it on the bathroom floor. The lights were fickle and the speakers in the bedroom buzzed when on. It was also noisy but i appreciated the free ear plugs. So while it's a 5 star hotel, some areas felt cheap and lacking.

Awesome location. Wonderful greeting on arrival. Exceptional personal service… Huge room! Very comfortable. Continued personalised service all during our stay with staff escorting us to ‘Palmer & Co’ for drinks… and then personally escorting to our table at ‘Mr Wongs’ for a delicious dinner! Wow! This is seriously The BEST in Sydney.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a lot of hot water for the shower or bath at night.

Rooms are wonderful and design in keeping the old character with modern facilities are so well done. Absolutely wonderful location. Staff couldn't be more helpful.

The fridge was way too stocked with the drinks and fell out as soon as I opened it. And could barely fit my own water bottle inside. Very dusty and the toilet/bathroom looked very old unlike online photos. Tiles/grout look dirty and stained blinds. Rusting behind toilet door. I did let staff know about cleanliness and house keeping did come back to clean the floors but overall still very dusty in places that are overlooked. Didn't meet my expectations for the amount I spent and wouldn't return.

Great location, very friendly staff, cool vibe, extremely comfortable bed, enormous room size.

The way the lights work was difficult to work out. It was a little tricky to find at first. The bathroom does not have a toilet brush in it.

Entrance a bit tricky to find

Location was incredibly good, their restaurants, room service, etc were very nice, along with the complimentary wifi. Front staff were very friendly. Of the location, you're very close to the offices on George street, a brief walk to Circular Quay, which proves train access directly to the airport.

Some of the fixtures are beginning to show their age, with the bathroom difficult to see yourself in in the morning accurately.

The location is close to both the Circular Quay as well as QVB. The studio was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The decoration was minimalist and modern.

The lighting was a bit dark with the light switches a bit complex. The fridge needed defrosting and maybe a few more hooks to hang towels etc would be helpful. A couple of free water bottles would be nice too.

Reception staff was incredible. Managed to get us a last minute booking for the restaurant Mr Wong. Also offered to help with booking taxis. So helpful!! The room was big and had a great feel to it.

The room lighting wasn’t ideal for getting ready, it’s part of the vibe of the hotel but would be good to have full lighting available.

Unique and tucked away in a fantastic area of great eating, bars and restaurants. Staff are just so lovely as well. Highly recommend! And I’ve stayed a few times now.

The location is superb as it's just a couple of blocks from Circular Quay in a quiet alley. The area is also close to some convenient stores. It is huge with a fully stocked minibar and includes living area. It is quiet, dark and comfortable to sleep in at night.

It's showing signs of ageing, perhaps it's the building itself but some modern amenities are lacking. For instance, the lighting could only be controlled at one point at the entryway making it tricky for me to turn off the lights at night. Also the mirror in my bathroom does not align with the sink making checking one's own reflection a minor inconvenience when brushing your teeth. There are no hand-held shower heads, just a rain shower. Aside from these, the hotel's main door is a huge black door which one can't see through, I mistook as a backdoor lol. The interior can be dark for some.

The Establishment Hotel is a great boutique hotel that is in a unique old world pocket of Sydney’s Circular Quay / Rocks district. Fabulous for a weekend away from it all. The rooms have a lot of character too. short walks to fab restaurants. The staff are all super friendly and efficient. Vanda on reception is a treasure.

The heritage feel, look and makeup of the building. Really authentic and a feel of old Sydney. Very unique and wonderful feel about the place.

The location was in great Proximity, to most, if not all of Sydney's Darlington Harbour Attractions. Room was clean. and tidy. Bathroom wad awesome. Staff were friendly.

The Security staff and bouncers are very quick to turn away ppl who can't dance. Saying they look drunk. When it comes to Latin dancing everyone is bad. . I was very quickly Tapped and annoyed that they removed me without a breath test or sobriety test.
