We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming hotel — so much so that we came back to stay again during our trip! Nestled in the heart of Palermo, it offers a peaceful, idyllic retreat right in the middle of the city’s vibrant energy. The location is perfect for exploring, yet the hotel itself feels like a hidden sanctuary. The rooms are truly unique and beautifully designed — full of character and comfort. Each detail seems thoughtfully chosen, giving the place a very special atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with a lovely variety of fresh and local options. One of the rare gems of this hotel is the pool — a real luxury in Palermo and a perfect way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. We especially want to thank Paolo, Iolanda, and Alessandro, who were incredibly attentive, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made our experience even more memorable, and we sincerely hope they remain part of the hotel team for a long time to come.

The hotel is the most beautiful historic building, the gardens are stunning , the original stone of the building is incorporated into the rooms. The staff were excellent & couldn’t do enough . The breakfast was the best I had in Sicily throughout my stay . The area is in a residential area but full of great local bars & restaurants & within walking distance to the main area of Palermo

Room was a bit small

Wonderful garden & pool was like an oasis in the city after a hot day sightseeing. Great location in heart of old city. The reception staff of Paulo, Ialandra & Alex were so helpful. They always went out of their way.

Our sons stayed in the basic room which was dark , airless and small. The superior room we stayed in was lovely.

Great location. Friendly staff. Lovely garden and pool. Some good restaurants nearby, especially if you like fish. However the standard rooms don’t have anywhere to sit and apart from the garden there is no general communal seating area. Lots of accessible things to do from this location in Palermo

The best thing about this hotel are the staff, always very helpful and kind. The hotel garden offers a peaceful retreat from the busy streets of Palermo. The breakfast was delicious and included a variety of foods.

Some electrical outlets by the bed would be nice. Also the bathroom space is a bit weird, since it's not separated from the bedroom by a concrete wall, but rather by a glass wall, so you can clearly see your roommate on the toilet and also hear everything (obviously not a problem if you're close with your roommate :) )

We has a superior double room which was spacious, clean, well maintained, and dual aspect with a view over the lovely garden/pool area; the shower room was very good too. We were provided with tea/coffee making facilities and some bottled water. The garden, with a pool, is an oasis-like area; beautiful, calm, relaxing with a number of seating areas to lounge. The reception staff were, without exception, extremely helpful; very good. The location, within a short walk of the train station, the bus station, the coast, the botanical gardens, and the old town, is ideal in many ways.

The location, while good in many ways, is close to an activity park/area which is used for local kids to socialise into the late evening; can be a bit noisy. I guess you are paying for the location a bit and the general loveliness of the accommodation and the garden - but it was a bit pricey, we felt. Note: Nothing to do with the hotel but some of the local restaurants were a bit of a disappointment. While Osteria Alivaru was fine and Quattro was pretty good, Carizzi D'Amuri was average and Ciccio in Pentola was poor (though highly rated by others).

Very local area, a rough diamond! Just a short 15 walk to the main streets where you will find bars and restaurants. Pool was a lovely feature to relax around in the afternoons and the staff were amazing.

The property was in fantastic state. The gardens were beautiful love the character pretty outstanding.

The young lady who cleaned the rooms was extremely thorough the young gentleman who cared for the gardens and cleaned up glasses for everybody had a great personality and very good communication skills

The location is fantastic, walkable into the main area and feels really local and authentic. We got a car from the airport, but didn't need to. The train station is a 10 min walk away and an hour - much more efficient than being stuck in a car in traffic.

Would have liked hotel to initially recommend the train from the airport and not a taxi. 6Euros vs 50E and slower in a car!!

Beautiful property, clean and the ground are amazing. So well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful they gave us some excellent restaurants to visit.

Prices of the mini bar are very high so ended up going to the supermarket to grab any snacks.

When looking for the building, go to the corner and look up! You will see the sign, and an intercom/security system.

A perfect little haven after exploring the city. Great location, spacious rooms with gorgeous details. The garden is beautiful and so well looked after we enjoyed sitting in the evening with a drink.

The hotel is an oasis of calm and peace in a busy city. The breakfast was superb and the reception and staff were excellent and experienced and very helpful.

Minor fault is the bottled water wasn’t replaced each day.

My room was bit too dark. The hotel offered to change but being just 3 nights in Palermo and surroundings it did not make any sense. The breakfast area is too small if the hotel is full. I recommend anyway to book a room here without breakfast because very close to the Hotel are some local amazing bakeries and cafes.

This hotel is a shining gem! There is attention to every detail from the well appointed and comfortable rooms included great beds to the beautiful decorations on the property and landscaping. We loved staying here. The love that went into creating this hotel is very clear. Close to all that you would want to see in Palermo and also extremely quiet which is very important to us while traveling. The owner and every staff person went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and attended to everything. We never had such a warm, personalized and generous treatment. The breakfast was super delicious with a variety of daily freshly baked foods. The common area is beautiful, with a personalized warm decor. It has all amenities needed including WiFi and top of the line bath products and linens. The shower has good pressure. It is also pretty newly renovated and the way they maintain the place in every detail is impeccable. We will definitely be back. Grazie Mille!

Absolutely nothing

Beautiful grounds and tasteful rooms right in the heart of the Kalsa district of central Palermo. Great breakfast. A peaceful oasis in which to sit and relax.

It was a bit difficult to find.

Everything was great. The room was clean and cozy. The garden was beautiful and breakfast was by far the best in our trip in Sicily (do try the pear juice). Staff were attentive and incredibly nice. Location wise, it’s pretty close to the train which connects you to the airport and a short walk to main center attractions. Would definitely come back if I am in Palermo again.

Great little hotel, warning - we didn't expect it behind a large steel door amongst a ruined building. But once you step inside the gate you are transported to a beautiful secluded garden and a very well kept hotel. We loved everything about this place. The room was comfortable and unique, breakfast was great, we enjoyed the jacuzzi in the afternoons and the pool even at the end of February, and just sitting in the garden in general. Very close to the historical town center, only about 10-15 mins walk. Also, I would recommend that you try the restaurant on the square just to the right of the hotel walls. We only discovered it on our last night there, but what a gem! Thank you for a great, relaxing stay.

Perfect place to explore Palermo, everything went supersmooth, and breakfast was amazing. Staff was also suoerfriendly to help out!

The hotel is a secluded paradise as you enter. Lots of greenery and plants to welcome you and a quaint vibe around the place. Staff were friendly, polite and very accommodating to our needs and any extra requests.

I would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel. Location is perfect, walking distance from the sea and centro historico, safe and lovely area. The garden provides a tranquill environment with pool and jacuzzi, it was a peaceful experience to enjoy the greenery whilst having breakfast. Breakfast itself is very rich, staff professional and helpful, they organized my airport transport and gave excellent recommendations for restaurants which was greatly appreciated. Rooms are comfortable, clean and unique thanks to the historic walls. Can't wait for my next visit and will certainly book this hotel.

Really friendly and helpful Personel

It's a shame I couldn't use the sauna. Unfortunately, I realized too late and didn't book a spot.

This location is like an Oasi in the middle of Palermo. The garden is a dream and the complex was a pleasure for the eyes. The breakfast was a dream, the pastries and the salty treats were unforgettable. I would definitely will return, i left my heart there.

Great staff that was very friendly and gave us recomendations on were to eat which was amazing. Very clean. Once you get into the hotel it is quite calm. Small but delicouis breakfast. Spacious room.

It was a great hotel but if we were to tell them to grow on it would be some eye for details from the cleaning stuf like filling up on tea or soap in the shower and towels for the sauna. But if we asked for it they were fruendky about it and they made sure it was fixed.

The location was great! The room was super clean, modern, and beautiful. The breakfast was tasty. The hotel had a super cozy vibe, and the staff was really kind. Getting the room with a jacuzzi was a great decision. We had an amazing time there.

The shower in the room with the jacuzzi is a bit small, so if you are a bigger person, you might feel uncomfortable.

Great place! Wish I stayed here longer instead of Airbnbs. The staff are lovely. I love the outdoor patio area. They also upgraded me to a nicer room.

I run warm so would have preferred to have the AC on but it only allowed heating at this time of year. I was able to sleep with the windows open and earplugs.

Highly recommend this place - the staff was very helpful, we arrived in the morning and since the room was ready for us already, we could immediately check-in, and also eat breakfast, which was extremely nice of them. We were also leaving early in the morning so the staff gave us breakfast bags to go, which all shows they’re really willing to go an extra mile for their guests. The room was spacious, and with a nice vibe (beautiful old ceiling). The district was in my opinion the best in the city - a lot of great restaurants in the area, and also very calm. Overall great stay!

Historic building converted to boutique hotel with great sensitivity. A gem in an area that looks very run down in places - a wonderful haven with a garden. Room 11 was spacious and well equipped with great attention to detail. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Most sights in centro storico and restaurants within walking distance.

Nothing about the property but the nearby bars were quite noisy until the early hours- maybe because it was over a weekend?

The staff was very helpful and the rooms are very clean and quiet. The hotel garden gives you the island vibes.

The staff were incredible, they went out of their way to help us and answer our questions. Our room in the main building was lovely, a really generous size with a gorgeous wooden ceiling, it was lovely to be able to stay in a restored old building.

Very cozy, modern and warm design yet in an old building, very helpful staff, excellent breakfast and 10 mins walk from the center of Palermo.

The room doesn’t have a window … the main glass door is the only source of light and fresh air and for privacy it must be kept shut and with the curtains closed.

Very nice and neat place! Super friendly staff and they will try their best to fulfill all the reasonable requirements! We had a great 3 days of stay there though weather in Palermo wasn’t great at this time of the year.

Very nice and special hotel where you can sleep below the old cite wall of Palermo. Great breakfast and very friendly people serving for you. In front was a beautiful garden with a pool. I felt welcome and safe and had a graet chance to visit this wonderful city.

Beautiful hotel in a climatic garden, where you can relax after a day of sightseeing. We got a comfortable large room with access to the garden. The hotel itself is located right next to the center of Palermo, on a square full of good restaurants bustling with life until late. The room itself was quiet, you couldn't hear any noise. The hotel staff was very helpful, offering good advice. We highly recommend this charming place!

Entrance to the shower was very narrow and awkward.
