The design is a problem - it gets on your nerves quickly, it is aggressive but the staff were kind and let me have the requested room which had a blue tone and therefore less aggressive

Everything was pretty much perfect. Room was incredibly pretty with a stunning view, bed was by far one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The bathroom was very nice, and the property in general benefits from a gorgeous view and terrific facilities. Breakfast was delicious with a huge range of options. Staff was courteous and very helpful.

Restaurant Yen was very solid but certainly no better than other restaurants around Shanghai, and given the high prices it would be advisable to eat elsewhere in the city.

Everything was just great! Great service, staff outstanding, breakfast excellent, the outdoor pool with the best view!

Fantastic view . The staff and the manager Amy had did her great job and she was very helpful. My family and I are very happy with her service. Definitely We will come back again with the good service.

It did get a bit noisy at times, but nothing too excessive

Check in process was a bit confusing, required a deposit exceeding the room rate, did get refunded in the end Location is slightly out of the main areas, however fairly easy to get the underground from the building next door, walkable to the Bund, lots of taxis available if needed Noticed some dirt on the windows which detracted from the amazing vista, noticeable when taking a photo

Very Nice stay, one of the best view, food is excellent, facility was amazing.

I loved every single thing about it, the atmosphere, the rooms and even their amenities. The staff were also very attentive and when I asked them for an amazing experience they provided me with more than what I could ever imagine. I’d definitely give this place another visit if I’m ever in the area.

Staff members are fantastic and extremely helpful on all aspects! Hotel facilities are matching the 2024 technology! If you are into modern technology, here is the place for you !

Fantastic room and amazing service at check-in, check-out and particularly in the restaurants. Special thanks to Maarten and Eowyn for their attentiveness and warmth.

The staff are all extraordinarily helpful, polite, and positive! Despite the fact that my husband only speaks English, they were always able to help him with exactly what he needed, and never made him feel bad or guilty about anything he needed done - even when our bathtub drain stopped working, they fixed it quickly with a smile on their face, and then gave us an apology gift for the inconvenience! They really make you feel like a VIP the whole time you’re there! Not to mention, the facilities themselves are gorgeous. Beautiful views inside and out, and a fantastic ambience at all times. Also they noticed it’s my birthday during the stay so they sent over a chocolate birthday cake and a bottle of champagne to our room. It was super nice!

Room smelled a bit like smoke sometimes (mainly from the sinks), people might be smoking near their bathroom sink downstairs and that smell leaked over to our room.

I had a wonderful birthday at W hotel with my family. Our rooms are with stunning bund view. The staffs are helpful and kind. Check-in and checkout went very smooth. We will definitely come back!

I loved many things about W Hotel. From the cleanliness of the hotel, to the professionalism of all staff and the stylish decor, comfortable bed, as well as the stunning view from my room and generous breakfast options, there was absolutely nothing I could fault. The W Hotel ticks all my boxes. I highly recommend staying at W Hotel.

Loved everything about this hotel. The view, the room, the staff and the wet bar! We used the pools and it was amazing!

The location is perfect…

noise in the female change locker room area, from ladies drying the hair and in the toilets etc….if possible, can you block the noise for the resting area to be a quiet resting space
