All you need to know
Hotel Amadeus is a family-owned hotel in the Barrio Santa Cruz neighborhood, only a ten-minute walk from Alcazar and the cathedral. Situated in a pedestrian-only alleyway, this hotel is between two Jewish Quarter streets, and is just down the street from two museums: Casa de Salinas and Museum Bellver.
Comprised of two traditional Sevillano houses, this hotel features a variety of period decor, including elegant sofas, antique chairs, and other traditional furniture. More notably, this hotel’s theme centers around music, which you will notice throughout the artwork and instruments on display, like electric violins, a 16th-century harp, and an accordion. Each room is named after a composer, and even rehearsal rooms are available.
Rooms are decorated with a neutral color palette, white linens, wooden furniture, and music-themed artwork. Some rooms have hydraulic floor tiles, street-facing balconies, or courtyard balconies. Most rooms have hydrotherapy tubs, and the remaining have showers. The most secluded room option is Room 301, featuring a charming terrace decorated with plants.
Hotel Amadeus serves breakfast in your room, in the rooftop dining room, on the roof terrace, and on the ground-floor salon. The spread includes fruit, pastries, yogurt, boiled eggs, a mini quiche, and fresh fruit. You can order wine, cocktails, and cakes on the rooftop bar. Room service is also available, but is paid separately to an outside company.
The small hot tub on the rooftop terrace is one of the best places to relax in this hotel. WiFi is available throughout the hotel, even on the roof.
