Located only two minutes from the cathedral, surrounded by shopping and restaurants, Casa de Colon has an unbeatable location. With a restaurant on either side, you don’t have to travel far to satisfy your hunger! This family-run hotel’s most notable feature is the incredible rooftop terrace, boasting views of the cathedral and surrounded by lovely greenery and flowers.
Casa de Colon’s design has several unique features, including neo-Mudejar scalloped windows, cobalt-blue glass, cast-iron pillars, and ceramic tiles on the patio. These features make this space feel historical, but with several contemporary accents thrown in, like woven Indian stools and exposed brick, it still has a trendy atmosphere. Many of the headboards in the guest rooms are made from recycled wooden doors sourced from the original home, adding a quirky and historical touch.
This three-star hotel houses 17 rooms, all of which vary in size. The largest suites are the Grand Deluxes, some of which have street-facing outdoor spaces. The Grand Deluxe and the Deluxe rooms come with separate baths and showers. On the third floor, you’ll find two Attic rooms. These spaces might be smaller, but include private sundecks, outdoor showers, and sun loungers. Each room offers coffeemakers, teamakers, wall-mounted TVs, minibars, and locally made olive oil biscuits. While WiFi is free, you must log in through Facebook or your email.
Breakfast is included in the price of your room, and can be served on the patio, roof terrace, or in your room. It includes croissants, toast with Manchego cheese, jam, tomato, honey, chopped ham, eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, and your choice of coffee or tea.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were made very welcome throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Very Friendly Stay in the Heart of Seville
It’s a beautiful period property in the heart of old Seville. Convenient for all the main attractions and facilities. From the terrace you can see the Giralda and Cathedral. The personnel were very friendly and helpful. The bedding was crisp and spotless and the bed itself super comfy.
The room had a magnificent terrace but was a little basic for the price we paid. The wifi worked, but the connection was dodgy at times, the decor were old and a little “frayed at the edges” with a very creaky door and the bathroom a little tired.

I kept rolling over in the middle of the bed towards my husband as it was slightly sloped. Beware of the marble corner of the window in room 105 very close to bed to hit yourself walking by. The internet
never worked in our room at all for us the whole time we were there

A perfect centrally located boutique hotel for a short stay
On arrival we were given a lovely friendly welcome from the receptionist who gave lots of helpful information. The room was clean and very comfortable. A delicious breakfast on the roof terrace with friendly waitress. Excellent value for such a central and perfect location .

Delightful historical space, location and staff
Delightful and comfortable restored historical inn, family owned; perfect location for walking and dining in historic Seville; clean comfortable room, and attentive welcoming staff, especially David who checked us in, served us coffee and gave us ideal recommendations. Love the readily accessible espresso machine at reception!

First night in Seville - perfect location, comfortable rooms, great recommendations from reception
The decor of the hotel and its central location. were a big plus.
Our room had no possibility of fresh air and no view but the style of the building around a very small court is typical of many of the buildings in Santa Cruz

Lovely old style Spanish Hotel
The old style Spanish features of the Hotel interior were lovely. The staff were welcoming and friendly.The roof terrace for breakfast was great with a view of the Cathedral and the central location of the Hotel was perfect for accessing everything worth seeing in Seville. We had a room on the top floor with our own roof terrace which was fabulous.
The bathroom in our room could do with a bit of an update but it wasn't a problem.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect spot
It's a beautiful hotel, with absolutely gorgeous tiling. It's quirky, being built around a central courtyard that's the reception, which means no rooms are on long corridors. Our room had everything we needed, and our bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. Breakfast was tasty and individually prepared with a good choice. We were lucky enough to be able to have it on the rooftop terrace with views of the cathedral. All the staff were very helpful and very smiley. Its location is absolutely perfect for exploring Seville being right in the heart of the historic centre. Whilst the city was very busy, the hotel was a haven of peace and tranquility. The city is bursting with fabulous places to eat and all within a very short walk from the hotel.

Charming conversion of a traditional house, full of atmosphere. Great staff.
You can see from the photos and description that this is a hotel in a traditional atrium house, individually styled, quirky rooms, beautiful traditional features and that's what we chose it for. We don't need the spa, bar, pool etc that larger hotels might have. The big benefit was the calm atmosphere, wonderful staff and personal touch that this small hotel gives. Each room is different and the use of upcycled and traditional pieces was lovely. Even standard rooms have a little fridge, kettle, sitting area and good storage. The nice roof terraces were great for relaxing on a sunny afternoon or watching sunset.
Due to a misunderstanding that was nobody's fault we didn't have a room overlooking the pretty atrium, as we had hoped, however we had all that we needed and the staff's care and attention to this was outstanding.

Fantastic place to stay, very beautiful design.
It was a great place to stay. I loved it. The breakfast was very nice, the staff were kind and helpful and very friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Absolutely loved it.
My room had a window that opened into the hallway. So I felt uncomfortable opening the curtains so people could look in, although the glass was slightly opaque. I could hear people in the hall quite loudly in my room, which occasionally woke me up. It was not such a big issue.

Beautiful historic building in brilliant location with friendly staff
The location is perfect, the hotel has old world charm, and the staff are extremely helpful and Marco gave us wonderful advice on the places to visit, eat and drink. The large bed was super comfortable and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was lovely and enjoyed on the rooftop terrace over looking the city.

Review for Casa de Colón
Location of hotel is good and historical house is nice.
City is beautiful. Weather was better than we expected.
Breakfast was not on time ( time was agreed in advance) We had city tours booked and time in Seville was very well planned.
One morning was not possible to eat breakfast due breakfast serving lady was late.

A great weekend from start to finish, plenty of site sighting, relaxing and fun.
The staff were really helpful, nothing was to much trouble. The hotel is ideally located, close to cathedral and the palace and a good choice of places to eat and drink.
Love the architecture of the hotel, the courtyard reception and breakfast terrace.
