Boutique Hotel Casa de Colón, Seville

The room was stunning as was the hotel. The room was spacious with high ceilings. The position was around the corner from the cathedral and Alcazar. It was the best accommodation of our travels through Europe and thoroughly Spanish in design and decor.

Staff were lovely. We were greeted by a very friendly chap who made us feel welcome. He was helpful. Obliging. Made us a lovely coffee while we checked in. That level of service continued during our stay. Location is excellent - a stones throw from the main sites. Hotel full of character. Plenty of hot water. Nice towels (but could have done with one more each as standard for hair etc) It was spotless!

All the things we "didn't like" were minor tweaks. Breakfast was in principle great with lots of choice; however we didnt eat the ham and despite asking every day not to have it we were given it regardless - feels quite wasteful. Maybe a tick form to say what you actually want. Also an additional spoon for the yoghurt - we used the ones for our tea and coffee to eat it. A handle on the inside of the bathroom door and the bathroom just needs a little TLC - sand down the polyfiller and paint. Maybe some shelving higher up - one of us was older and so it would have been better to have more shelves at standing height. Maybe a few shelves in the wardrobe. All of that said we would definately stay here again as these were minor compared to the warm feeling of the hotel and the staff

Central location in Old Town

The location of this hotel is fantastic within walking distance of the most important sites. The historic building is beautiful and has been sensitively refurbished and decorated. Having the excellent breakfast on the rooftop terrace with views of the cathedral was a big plus. In the main the staff were good especially the guy on reception who was incredibly helpful. Comfy bed and powerful shower. Lovely period features in room.

Not withstanding the age of the building our room could have used some modernisation. There were insufficient electrical sockets, no full length mirror (it had apparently been broken the week before) and the shower cubicle and fittings were a bit shaky and in.our view need to.be replaced. Greater attention to little details would have made a big difference.

Excellent location, friendly staff and a calm atmosphere which is much appreciated after day of sightseeing. We enjoyed the space of the rooms and the ability to call up for breakfast, a recommendation we’ll be making to everyone wanting to visit Seville! The taxi pick ups are easy and you’re central to all the main sights, weather you’re staying for a weekend or longer.

Hotel Boutique Casa de Colón was in a great location - a one minute walk to the stunning Seville Cathedral, but far enough back from the hectic road by the Cathedral to be quiet. The breakfast was served on a roof top terrace that overlooked the Cathedral which was spectacular, and breakfast was served individually to each table with no cumbersome/cluttered buffet. This hotel had an individualised, warm and welcoming family feel with very friendly staff. The room was large with very high ceilings so it was spacious and in a lovely traditional style. There was a large choice of lovely cafes, restaurants and bars within a few minutes walks in any direction - we were spoiled for choice.

I can't find any fault - it was a lovely hotel and I would happily stay again.

Boutique Hotel Lake Head said very centrally with exceptional staff and the added bonus of being able to breakfast on the terrace roof with a full view of the cathedral. Would not hesitate to stay here again

We tried to find the hotel to drop bags before parking our car – this turned into a bit of a challenge and eventually we gave up and parked the car before walking to the hotel with our luggage. Not an issue, but people do need to be aware That it would be very difficult to park outside to drop bags off if they were able to find it in the first place using Google Maps.

This hotel is just sensational, the hotel and the room were beautiful and the staff were lovely. The breakfast on the rooftop for €13 is lovely overlooking the cathedral- wow. I could not recommend this place more highly. The location is absolutely perfect also.

Loved this charming hotel

Perfect location! Down the street from the Catedral and such a beautiful, special hotel. We would absolutely book this place again on a return trip to Sevilla. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby is gorgeous. It was quiet and so comfortable.

The location of the hotel is superb, a stones throw from the cathedral and other key landmarks. Shops, cafes and bars all within a short stroll. We loved the vibe of the city, the friendly atmosphere and general safeness of the city. It was a little too hot, so we often looked for air-conditioned places but overall a great experience. The staff at casa de Colon couldn’t do more and we thank Ana and her team. Great room, excellent breakfast on the roof terrace facing the cathedral. What more could you ask for. Highly recommend

You can’t beat starting the day with a huge delicious breakfast on the roof, looking at the cathedral. Cute rooms with everything you need. Right by the cathedral and so central - cannot recommend enough.

My room and terrace was excellent. Mr. Marco at the reception was helpfull. The breakfast came to our room daily.

Looked like a former Moorish house. We saw a church celebration/procession pass by the hotel on the way to the cathedral one night

An interesting and historic building tastefully refurbished and located in an excellent location. In addition, the staff - particularly Marco and Giorgia - were efficient, helpful and extremely friendly.

Very few hangers. No drawers for t shirts, flat items. Couldn’t use the safe as it was broken and not screwed down to furniture.. not fixed so felt unsafe

The hotel is located in the city center near the cathedral, we didn't have to use public transport, we took a taxi from the Sevilla Airport and paid 25 euros. Breakfast is served, public terrace or room terrase can be chosen!!! Served breakfast at the room terrace was perfect. The room was quite small for two persons.

The location is good, very close to the cathedral. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooftop breakfast is great.

The room has no window facing out. Facilities are rather basic inside, not very “boutique” as the hotel name.

The style of the hotel, its family feel, the helpfulness of the duty manager, Marco was phenomenal and went way beyond expectations. The bathroom was fabulous, old style with a bidet and both a full size bath and a lovely strong shower. No bath extras - soap, shampoo, etc. but they arrived with a smile when I asked for them. The double bed was very comfortable and the air-conditioning was just right.

The breakfast was disastrous. Described as being served on the roof terrace it arrived cold and late. Scrambled eggs - bread that had been cut so well in advance it felt like yesterdays' and undrinkable coffee. But they were trying hard all the time to be helpful, sadly unsuccessfully, but they did try.

A charming, historic little hotel in the very heart of Seville, only a few minutes walk from the Cathedral and surrounded by wonderful restaurants, and shops. A sumptuous breakfast is offered either in your room, in the peaceful and airy central atrium, or on the roof with a view of the city. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. My wife and I would be delighted to return.

Great location very close to the Cathedral. Huge comfortable bed and we had a quiet room off the street. Roof terrace for breakfast. Reception staff very helpful. Good breakfast - you need to be specific about your requirements - type of tea/how you like your eggs,

Housekeeping could have been a bit better, we had to call reception as no towels were left in the room.

Wondeful location, good breakfast. We walked to every attraction from the hotel easily. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were clean. Historical building in a very historical quarter of Seville.

Very vintage and authentic, rooms were attractive, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the terrace in the evening.

It took us over 2 hours to locate the hotel and finally park our car. Seville is NOT car-friendly and once you miss a turn (very easy to do) you’re condemned to another 20-30 minute circuit around the narrow streets. The hotel instructions included google-map links but these did not deliver us to the correct spot. I’ve been a host myself and trialled my links to ensure they were effective and included street photos to reassure the traveller. I suggest this hotel does the same.

Perfect location for the centre of Seville. Family run hotel and all the staff were charming and helpful. The traditional architecture & features added to the hotels charm. Roof top terrace is great for breakfast & views of the cathedral. The rooms are very clean.

Authentic full of character

We loved this authentic Spanish boutique hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Could not fault the hotel. It is unique in its style surrounded within by blue glass stained windows. It was comfortable and clean. This is not the usual ultra modern hotel we have stayed at many times before. It was full of character. Location was perfect. In a small street just a minute to the cathedral. Everything was close by or within easy walking distance. Lots of places to eat nearby. Perfect location for us. Breakfast on the terrace or the indoor courtyard reception was excellent. If we had one small suggestion to make it would be that our bathroom/toilet door was less see through as lying in bed we could see each other using the toilet because it was not opaque enough and we could see through it.
