Alittle dusty floor but it was okay!

The location was great for the business trip and for a quick sightseeing as everything was nearby and in a reachable distance. The property has nice small gym with the view to the main street and loved the morning run on the treadmill. The breakfast was great and with the menu changing each morning. The room was clean and towels were changed every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location in the heart of Hongdae area. One of the best lifestyle hotel I’ve ever stayed. Every little details have the stories to tell and are carefully curated to create an innovative guest experience.

Location is great with close walking distance to food and shopping areas.. Room layout is perfect for a family group of 4. The great coffee just located at the lobby. Service is friendly and quick. Generally it’s a good location for those who love to travel to Hongdae.

Entrance to reception without proper signage, need to find and ask at the concierge where the reception counter located at level 3. But still manageable without much hurdle.

Close to Hongig Station, nice facilities, cafe and shopping around.

The gym could be bigger

Great location and pleasant entry with Blue Bottle downstairs We arrived at around 1pm and they allowed us to early check-in. At the same time they offered free late check out at 1pm. Room is comfortable and clean.

A bit over-priced in maple season (End of Oct) Price was almost double of regular price. KRW 752,400 for 2 nights.

My favourite hotel in the world!

Always comfortable and clean. The bed is comfortable. Spacious room cleaned daily. Staff always friendly. It was my 3rd/ 4th stay and I always enjoy my stay there.

It’s expensive 😂

We had a great stay at this hotel in Hongdae, Seoul! The location is fantastic, just steps away from the main street in Hongdae with all its amazing stores, restaurants, and energy. There’s even a Blue Bottle Coffee shop conveniently located on the ground floor, which was perfect for grabbing coffee each morning.

The room was clean and comfortable, and overall, everything about the hotel was good. The only unusual part was that on our first day, the cleaner came to our room at around 4 pm, which caught us by surprise as we were resting inside. As a result, our room didn’t get cleaned for that night. Typically, housekeeping is done in the morning when guests are likely out, so this was a bit of an inconvenience. However, for the rest of our stay, housekeeping arrived in the morning as expected.

Loved the location, a few mins walk from Exit 9 Hongik University subway station. Also the Blue Bottle Coffee on the ground floor was a huge plus! Reception staff saw that I had 2 girls with me, and decided to upgrade my room without charge.

I couldn’t have been happier with the experience at RYSE. I travelled with my husband and 3 small kids and the staff were amazing with us at all times. I will forever be greatfull to them and to RYSE for helping us in the middle of the night to get my baby into an ambulance to emergencies when she suddenly couldn’t breathe properly. It was the scariest moment in our life and they went the extra mile with us. Thank you forever RYSE team and we will be back for sure!!

The hotel restaurant is beautiful and the food is amazing but it closes too early and already, once you order they already bring you the bill which is a little weird, I feel. But other than that all good.

Modern interior, large room, fantastic view due to the floor to ceiling windows. Staff was very welcoming. Great coffee shop at the floor. Although the hotel is in the party district, the room was very quiet. Would definitely book this hotel again.

Superb location in Hongdae. Wonderful to start off your day with delicious Blue Bottle coffee on the ground floor of the hotel. We love everything about this hotel, rooms are spacious, beds are so comfortable, we enjoyed having a bath each night after walking all day exploring Seoul, staff are great. Again the location is perfect!

Perfect location right in the middle of Hongdae shopping street. Modern and furnished property and facilities. Friendly staffs.

Air conditioning in room is a little bit too warm.

Check-in is on the 3rd floor (I was informed directly at the entrance) and the staff is very friendly. You're right at the heart of the action and everything can be reached really quickly, Hongik University Station is in the immediate vicinity. The room is really nicely designed; the glass front from the bathroom to the room can be closed with a roller blind. The breakfast offers everything you could wish for - a little bit of everything.

The elevator takes a long time (although there are 3 of them), but the hotel can't do anything about that.

The room is cozy. I went to the hotel before check in time but I could do early check in with the resonable price.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room was large enough for a couple and the layout was very neatly arranged. I love the spacious toilet/bathroom. There's a Blue Bottle Coffee shop in the ground floor. The Hongik Station is about 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. There are various restaurants and shops around, and it is near Red Road, where buskers sing/dance at night. This is near the university area, so you will see a lot of students/youth around. To reach RYSE Hotel from Incheon Airport, you can take the limo bus # 6002; get off at Seogyo-dong Station (then walk 2 minutes to the hotel). The trip is about 1 hour.

During the first few days of our stay, our room's airconditioning was not getting cold. We were there in the summer months, so AC temperature is very important. Since the technician could not resolve the problem, we were transferred to another room, which was cooler and more comfortable.

Each staff member gave exceptional customer service. What a great team Ryse has. Will stay at Ryse in future. Thank you for a great experience.

Quite pricey

Staff were accommodating. They allowed me to leave my luggage since I had to go outside of Seoul for a couple of days. Air conditioning was cold, water heater worked well. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Internet speed was consistently fast and allowed me to work and take some video calls. Lastly, location was great. It was near Hongdae and near Hongkik train station.

There was no proper table so if you have to work for a long time, it might not be comfortable staying in the room.

Location excellent for exploring Hongdae. Room has lovely decor. Nice large bathroom with bathtub. Concierge friendly as were checkin staff.

Oddly loud sheets. The duvet cover is soft but it makes a loud noise with any slight movement (like rubbing plastic bags). For light sleepers, that’s not good. Anyone else in room tossing and turning will make quite some noise. We were on the 10th floor and could hear it he buses and traffic below. For as much as we paid, expected basics like a minibar and coffee machine that is so common nowadays in all grades of hotels. There were 2 jars of water in the fridge.

Obsessed with this hotel. So comfortable, lots of space in the room and staff v friendly!

Check out was a bit cumbersome. For some reason only one staff member at check out desk so long queue and then had to queue again downstairs to leave luggage. Think this took 25 mins in total which is disappointing given standards of hotel.

Best beds and full block-out so you can get a really good sleep. On the airport line so definitely one to consider for those flying in/out of Seoul (saves a lot of subway connections with baggage). Extremely comfortable beds and rooms and the aircon never made you feel like you were drying out, like some hotels do.

Everything was perfect. I really recommend this hotel. Super central but quiet. Great interior. Smart tv in the room — if you wish to share your own screen.

Was a queue for the check-in — only one person was working. That’s very minor disadvantage, everything in general is way too cool.
