The location of this hotel is fantastic for Hongdae area. The room, service, cleanliness is great. In fact, this is the most expensive hotel you can book if you are only looking at Hongdae area.

3 lifts is not quite sufficient for property given that there are 20 levels + 4 basement levels. There is always a long waiting time and sometimes the lift are full and you have to wait for the next lift.

As a regular at the Ryse, I can say that they have manage to consistently improve. From the staff enthusiasm and speed (thank you to Glenn Park for keeping my delivery in 1F) to the frequent change of duvets (appreciated!) and the new and improved sofa, the stay was excellent. Happy to be back again.

Nothing except I still mourn the loss of the bakery in 1F that disappeared about 3 years ago, replaced by a Blue Bottle franchise.

Excellent hotel. Great location, friendly staff, clean and spacious room. The room feels really luxurious. The bidet-function and heated seat of the toillet were great.

The hotel is fairly new, part of the Marriott group, fancy design and layouts. Has an awesome cafe in their main lobby - Blue Bottle. Also has a lifestyle store on one of their floors. The room sizes seem to be bigger than the competition, which is a good thing.

I had multiple bookings during my 4 night stay and I had to swap the rooms. I took, one of their expensive rooms for my last night and I got a towel that was dirty. It was too late by the time we showered and saw the state of the towel, we were also too tired after a long day to swap/show or make a deal out of it. The next morning I told them about it, they asked me if I would like to swap the towel. For being a Marriott Gold Member and price I paid for the room, I was expecting a better response/resolution.

The beds were very comfortable.

The location, the modernity, the warmth and friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness and also the comfort in the room.

They did not allow the marriot points to be credited.

Receptionist & Concierge Services are amazing, they help us a lot with luggage storage, restaurant and taxi bookings. Location is central within Hongdae area. Spacious bathroom and clean. Bed fit 2 adults and 1 3yo. Room is quiet. Blue Bottle Coffee is on the ground floor. Face masks are provided for your stay, which is a nice touch.

For the price, we would expect more amenities.

Location was good and it felt very nice but if you run hot or news to control the temperature don't stay here. We had the temp cooled for the max the whole time and it never got to the set temp 20°C. Lowest was probably like 23

Great location, close to the subway and shopping and restaurants district

Front desk support can improve: 1. Taxi rate from hotel to airport was missed reported, caused some confusion. 2. We asked for a Korean traditional dish but was led to a Chinese restaurant?! 3. We asked if there is a nail clipper, they replied,, guest can only use at the front desk. For safety concerns, staff can oversee the guest while they use the clip. 4. The plastic slipper was very uncomfortable. Just a few feedback I had in mind

This hotel was amazing! The location could not have been better, Hongdae street is directly behind the hotel. We had a high floor editor room and I'm so glad I spent the extra money for the upgraded room it was well worth it. The room was perfect, super cozy, comfortable bed, black out curtains, great shower, best view ever, wonderful staff and even a great coffee shop in the lobby.

Wish they could have provided more water in the fridge. The Kettle cord is too short for the intended socket. we had to boil water in the bathroom instead. The room is a tad too dark. wish they have lights at the sofa side too

The location is superb - close to the subway station and the bustling Hongdae shopping district. Lots of eateries and convenience stores nearby. The room is spacious and soundproofing was good. The customer service was really good too and all the staff members I met were polite and helpful. They are quite conversant in English so I had no issues communicating with them.

The rooms were very clean, and quiet. The location is perfect just a short 6 min walk to the station which has the airport line. The staff were very friendly. The coffee shop on the ground floor does amazing coffee. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The room was really nice, beds were comfortable and facilities were great. The staff were super nice and helpful.

We paid $125 to get our laundry done, which was quite pricey and the staff weren’t clear about laundry fees beforehand, although we asked. They also charged us for the toothbrushes provided in our room when we checked out, which was also something new to us. I also could’ve chosen a nicer location for our stay, as this one was in a noisy, kinda outdated one.

The hotel is located on the main road, easy to get to by bus, not far from the train station. The room is clean, the area is adequate, the bathroom is spacious. I like the lobby on the first floor, there is a place to chill and there is delicious coffee for sale.

Great location if you are hanging around in Hongdae. Modern furnished. There is a recycling bin in the room.

The lobby is located on 3rd floor, not very noticeable if you are checking in late. It will be good to have more signage for late check in guest.

The room was spacious and breakfast was great. Very quiet and comfortable stay. I really liked everything there. This is my 3rd time staying and will surely be back again soon.

Everything was amazing, the building and the rooms were stunning. It was very quiet, day and night.

It's really nothing but the fridge had only two buckets of water. In other great hotels in Séoul they had more exciting things in it for a cheaper price.

Prime location in the center of Hongdae! Literally 1min away from the station. Super friendly staff as well. Hip interior & cool consignment store (WorksOut) on the 2nd floor. Blue bottle on the ground floor!

Gym was a bit too small with limited facilities.

Location, atmosphere, attention to details, comfort. Just about everything this hotel has to offer are exceptional and impressive!

Alittle dusty floor but it was okay!

The location was great for the business trip and for a quick sightseeing as everything was nearby and in a reachable distance. The property has nice small gym with the view to the main street and loved the morning run on the treadmill. The breakfast was great and with the menu changing each morning. The room was clean and towels were changed every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Location is great with close walking distance to food and shopping areas.. Room layout is perfect for a family group of 4. The great coffee just located at the lobby. Service is friendly and quick. Generally it’s a good location for those who love to travel to Hongdae.

Entrance to reception without proper signage, need to find and ask at the concierge where the reception counter located at level 3. But still manageable without much hurdle.

Close to Hongig Station, nice facilities, cafe and shopping around.

It can get quite cold in the room at certain times of the day.

Great location and pleasant entry with Blue Bottle downstairs We arrived at around 1pm and they allowed us to early check-in. At the same time they offered free late check out at 1pm. Room is comfortable and clean.

A bit over-priced in maple season (End of Oct) Price was almost double of regular price. KRW 752,400 for 2 nights.
