Modern interior, large room, fantastic view due to the floor to ceiling windows. Staff was very welcoming. Great coffee shop at the floor. Although the hotel is in the party district, the room was very quiet. Would definitely book this hotel again.

Superb location in Hongdae. Wonderful to start off your day with delicious Blue Bottle coffee on the ground floor of the hotel. We love everything about this hotel, rooms are spacious, beds are so comfortable, we enjoyed having a bath each night after walking all day exploring Seoul, staff are great. Again the location is perfect!

Perfect location right in the middle of Hongdae shopping street. Modern and furnished property and facilities. Friendly staffs.

Air conditioning in room is a little bit too warm.

Check-in is on the 3rd floor (I was informed directly at the entrance) and the staff is very friendly. You're right at the heart of the action and everything can be reached really quickly, Hongik University Station is in the immediate vicinity. The room is really nicely designed; the glass front from the bathroom to the room can be closed with a roller blind. The breakfast offers everything you could wish for - a little bit of everything.

The elevator takes a long time (although there are 3 of them), but the hotel can't do anything about that.

The room is cozy. I went to the hotel before check in time but I could do early check in with the resonable price.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room was large enough for a couple and the layout was very neatly arranged. I love the spacious toilet/bathroom. There's a Blue Bottle Coffee shop in the ground floor. The Hongik Station is about 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. There are various restaurants and shops around, and it is near Red Road, where buskers sing/dance at night. This is near the university area, so you will see a lot of students/youth around. To reach RYSE Hotel from Incheon Airport, you can take the limo bus # 6002; get off at Seogyo-dong Station (then walk 2 minutes to the hotel). The trip is about 1 hour.

During the first few days of our stay, our room's airconditioning was not getting cold. We were there in the summer months, so AC temperature is very important. Since the technician could not resolve the problem, we were transferred to another room, which was cooler and more comfortable.

Each staff member gave exceptional customer service. What a great team Ryse has. Will stay at Ryse in future. Thank you for a great experience.

Quite pricey

Staff were accommodating. They allowed me to leave my luggage since I had to go outside of Seoul for a couple of days. Air conditioning was cold, water heater worked well. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Internet speed was consistently fast and allowed me to work and take some video calls. Lastly, location was great. It was near Hongdae and near Hongkik train station.

There was no proper table so if you have to work for a long time, it might not be comfortable staying in the room.

Location excellent for exploring Hongdae. Room has lovely decor. Nice large bathroom with bathtub. Concierge friendly as were checkin staff.

Oddly loud sheets. The duvet cover is soft but it makes a loud noise with any slight movement (like rubbing plastic bags). For light sleepers, that’s not good. Anyone else in room tossing and turning will make quite some noise. We were on the 10th floor and could hear it he buses and traffic below. For as much as we paid, expected basics like a minibar and coffee machine that is so common nowadays in all grades of hotels. There were 2 jars of water in the fridge.

Obsessed with this hotel. So comfortable, lots of space in the room and staff v friendly!

Check out was a bit cumbersome. For some reason only one staff member at check out desk so long queue and then had to queue again downstairs to leave luggage. Think this took 25 mins in total which is disappointing given standards of hotel.

Best beds and full block-out so you can get a really good sleep. On the airport line so definitely one to consider for those flying in/out of Seoul (saves a lot of subway connections with baggage). Extremely comfortable beds and rooms and the aircon never made you feel like you were drying out, like some hotels do.

The staff were approachable and at the same time professional. The room was perfect. I felt that this hotel was not stuck in the 1990s but was relevant and keen to meet the needs of today’s travelers

Everything was perfect. I really recommend this hotel. Super central but quiet. Great interior. Smart tv in the room — if you wish to share your own screen.

Was a queue for the check-in — only one person was working. That’s very minor disadvantage, everything in general is way too cool.

Perfwct locations. Spacious rooms and friwndly staff. And they have blue coffee just at level 1 of the hotel which is a bonus.

Nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed in! So spacious for the area and in a fantastic location—so close to the subway station and great restaurants and shopping!

The only thing I would suggest is AC in the rooms! Even with the heat off, the room was still too hot and required us to keep the window open throughout the night to stay comfortable!

The room here is very spacious compared to other hotels around the area. I love how their room is modern but still comfortable and everything is really clean. Location was also very good. It's only a minute walk to train and bus station. The hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants. We were complimented with a bottle of wine just because it took a bit longer to check-in which was very nice of the staff.

Pillows were a little soft

I love the size of the room with a sofa and comfortable size of the table. The bathroom is "beautiful". Everything in the room gave me a very different feeling of a hotel. i love that the floor is not carpeted. Definitely to be back again. Thank you.

Room were spacious. We enjoyed the couch lounge area, the bed, the modern design of the hotel room, the restroom. The hotel was very much conveniently located in the center of Hongdae which was a bonus. The hotel staff were all nice!

Need a bigger gym area. Wished the tv was a smart tv for possibly YouTube access.

Fantastic service and support from the staff. Upon request provided a maximum quiet room. Was worried about room temp as the cold setting for aircon is turned off during winter, but with the heating setting off our room stayed at 22-23 degrees which was great.

Just want to suggest that the hotel should provide slippers instead of only flip flops. And if the toilet door is not transparent, the bathroom can be better utilized. This is important when there are more than one guest staying.

There is Blue Bottle Coffee on the 1F of the hotel which is very convenient. ​The hotel location is very convenient.

Location and interior design. The reception lady was sweet to give us a complimentary bottle of red wine when we checked in on my birthday.

A bit pricey for its limited facilities and room size. Pillow is too hard, and the soft type is just way too soft. Very poor sound proof wall - we heard a lady in the next door coughing in the middle of the night for 4 nights in a row! Just 2 treadmills in gym - easily taken up by others by the time you visit it.

The room is clean and spacious - good for family with kids. Good location with many shops and restaurants nearby. Blue bottle cafe is just downstairs.

The location was perfect. The design of the room but also the practicality was great. Attention to detail can be truly seen here.they even give you face sheet masks.

I wish the check in process was a little more comfortable. Because of the popular cafe in the same proximity it was loud, crowded and busy. Otherwise everything is great. Also perhaps they could give sleepers in the room as the floor is cold, even the sustainable ones, would be really useful for quests.
