Unique dining experience porchetta in front of the fire! Very quirky interior design.

October visit: cold swimming pool, breakfast served outside with coats on, no extra blankets in bedroom so we had to wear warm clothing to bed. Not really a personal service.

My soon was very basic & very dated. Looked like other rooms were much better than mine…as had been renovated! Every time I book through booking.com I seem to be given the worst rooms in the hotels.

Su Golgone is an extraordinarily beautiful place. The colour and creativity is wonderful. Around every corner there is something to make you smile and wonder.

The restaurant was amazing as was the food. We didn’t really get to appreciate the place staying only 1 night.

The decore of the room was pretty but could do with some sprucing up. Grounds looked a little tired. The mattress needs replacing.

Giovana, Christian and staff were outstanding! They welcomed us like it were their own home (It sort of is). They gave us a great Sardo experience.

There wasn't anything to dislike. To many steps, but it was a good workout.

Unique and beautiful hotel in stunning countryside

Staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The resort had a nice traditional feel about it, reminiscent of holidays before ill mannered tourists. The restaurants were good although be wary the portions are huge; we learnt to share. The seafood lunch restaurant was a find. There are many areas where you can relax.

I feel I ought to say steps but in all honesty they added to the character. E don’t like we have both put on weight; but the spit roast meats are fantastic

this hotel is so dirty and promises things that aren't true at all. it has so much potential but everything needs to be renovated and a completely new concept for the hotel. the breakfast was also a disaster, everything looked stale and totally unloving. Pool was a disaster!!!

Su Gologone is truly an experience hotel, and one that requires some serious consideration for any traveller. The hotel grounds are a work of art in space, design and aesthetics. This spirit of beauty flows through to everything the hotel does - from its breakfast with stunning views to any of its many excursions on offer. A must visit.

The staff was very nice efficient and seemingly intuitive. The property is very nice. Very picturesque but so is the entire region. It’s a bit like a summer camp that has seen its day.

The value is simply not evident in the experience. Perhaps if you are a family of four stuffing yourselves into a room and if you only want to have a hotel create your itinerary amongst other tourists, then this spot is for you. The pool needs to be resurfaced. The food is mediocre. The price for meals is very high for what you receive and for the quality.

This place oozes character and authenticity. I’ve never been to a place like this. Everywhere you turn there is something new to be discovered!

Interesting concept, seems to be an old villa that has been refurbished to a hotel. Owners have a solid collection of traditional clothing and utensils.

Staff weren’t very friendly. Too many American tourists paying top dollar and likely complaining constantly has caused staff to be uptight and unfriendly—- didn’t seem like an Italian experience to be honest. For the cost I would expect better service to be honest but they are only game in town so can keep rates high and provide mediocre service.

The art everywhere adds a unique touch and makes the property special. Great food at the restaurants, excellent rooftop cocktails, amazing pool and very good spa. Gabriela took good care of us and she is really competent in understanding guest comfort. The veg garden dinner was outstanding and we really appreciation the packed lunch for our hikes.

The free WiFi wasn't the best. The sockets are the old 3 style plug so we had to unplug other devices to use the adaptor for our usual European plugs. Despite mentioning in the handbook in the room that they will replenish the water daily and keep us hydrated, we had to constantly keep asking for water.

The place had a lot of personal charm. A lot of staff. It was worthwhile to walk the entire property.

It's more of a recommendation: to provide a book of all the general activities offered and some general hiking maps starting from their location.

Pricey but the place on its own is an amazing venue with stunning views, little nooks and areas to rest and chill; tradition and art everywhere; the nature is well kept; a short stroll to su gologone. Food and staff were excellent too!

Staff, typical Sardinian restaurant (although we are mostly on a vegeterian diet), property is amazing, breakfast is great!

It is a fabulous place! So much character and we loved the heritage which was everywhere on display. Dinner at the Bread Nest was a really high spot for us. Extremely helpful staff all through our stay.

The style of the place is gorgeous.

During the check in we haven't been properly informed of all the areas and activities the hotel provides. Also when you book a room make sure to check if it is serviced by a lift or not. My dad has low mobility and nobody at the counter checked that. The food is average compared to other restaurants you find in the area.

Breakfast and dinner. The staff agreed to change our room for the second night which was lighter and a tiny but clean balcony where we could stand to get air. The staff were excellent.

Our room had no natural light with a dirty and leaf strewn tiny outside sitting area. It was unusable. All the decor is rather old and dated - but not in a charming way. We paid 275 euros a night for this. Very overpriced. The experiences at this experience hotel were very expensive. £100 for a yoga session!

The restaurant was very good and dining in the outdoor terrace at night was a great experience.

I wish I had read other peoples reviews more, like many we found the whole place very tired and strange. The pool area is terrible, Loungers are old and the pool paint is flaking, the robot pool cleaner, gardens and lawns around pool unkept. The hotel is massive with a whole lot of areas that seem unnecessary and we never saw used. The furnishings are threadbare etc The activities were really talked up but they were scheduled and only a couple a day. Never saw a farm or horses etc

Unfortunately our whole experience was ruined by the treatment we received towards the end. We were charged for a lunch we didn't have and when we spotted the mistake on the check out bill, they claimed it was our fault as they gave us the change to verify it. I called several times and they either didn't pick up, or ignored me claiming they couldn't hear. An absolute awful experience unfortunately. Feel mugged.

The bar was great and the food at the restaurant was delicious.

The rooms were gross. There was a terrible smell In the first room we got so they moved us. The second room still had the smell just less obvious. It smells like some sort of chemical they use for extermination. Very unpleasant. Also the property is for lack of better word weird. There is art and little knick knacks throughout but the place feels unkept.
