Palazzo Roma, Rome

Stayed here a few times in the last 2 years. We don’t even look for another property when in Rome! Excellent property!

Everything was perfect! The location is unbeatable and every detail of the Palazzo is beautifully designed. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff. From the lovely ladies at breakfast, to the bartender, housekeeping, reception, and Oliver — everyone was incredibly kind and attentive.

Breakfast was a dream! Everything was freshly prepared, and the pastries each morning were such a treat.

This team deserves all the stars. I will definitely be coming back!

Everything was superb

Royal treatment is given at the Palazzo Roma. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special and to ensure we were happy for the entirety of our stay. They even surprised my daughter with a lovely birthday cake and candies. Loved the design of the Palazzo we felt regal just staying there. The location could be a pro or a con relative to what a guest wants. We wanted to be very central and walk everywhere so it suited us perfectly. Definitely recommend staying here for a more personalized boutique experience in a gorgeous hotel with great attention to details.

Spacious, intimate, central location

The breakfast was wonderful….delicious and healthy! The location is very central and close to important Roman sites and restaurants. The hotel team was very warm and welcoming. We want to thank the GM, Oliver Hutton; front desk managers Ana & Cynthia; reception staff Carla; doormen Jonathan & Rolando; and F&B staff Margarita, Gabriel, Rebecca and Giovanni. This 17th C. palazzo’s contemporary interiors has beautiful frescoed dining room; a handsome bar; comfy and well-appointed salons. Finally, the bedroom feels like home: a most comfy bed with large soft pillows; well-appointed sitting room; and an elegant T&B. We felt like we were home.

One of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in in Europe. The entire team is friendly, especially Oliver, the manager. He is a nice gentleman. Their breakfast is amazing and the best breakfast I have ever eaten in my life. I thank them all and I will return to them soon.

The people outside are disturbing me and the carpet in the corridors needs to be cleaned or renewed. I wish there were air fresheners in the corridors to freshen up the hotel.

Concierge attempted to be helpful on occasion, but fell short. No pool. No rooftop. Bar area and restaurant a bit underwhelming.

Luxurious and romantic hotel in Rome. Spacious and clean rooms; comfortable beds. Lovely setting for breakfast and aperitivo. Great location for walking to all the main sights. Staff are happy to help with recommendations and arrangements.

I was so happy to choose my 5 days trip to Rome :) and stay at this wonderful hotel in heart of city center , thanks to the wonderful stuff at reception for upgrading my room . The breakfast menu , was little bit overwhelming. But overall , the breakfast salon was amazing to sit at . Like a real palace .

What an outstanding, first class yet unpretentious experience. Was on a father-daughter trip that I gifted my dad, and we stayed one night before flying back home. My father was blown away by the service and the beautiful design of the property and our room. Oliver and Cynthia, and all the staff we countered, treated us like royalty from the moment we arrived, to the thoughtful touches during our stay, to the morning we departed. We have stayed at a number of five star properties in Rome and finally found the one to which we will eagerly return. Thank you, Oliver, and team for making us feel right at home during our stay! Oliver and his team made our stay both productive and relaxing. The attention to detail and high level of service truly stood out. The hotel location is so convenient to everywhere. Hotel’s decoration style is so elegant and tasteful. The concierge team made everything seamless.

There wasn’t anything

A brand-new hotel in a perfect location—absolutely perfect. Upon our arrival, they kindly upgraded us, and we stayed in a beautiful, spacious suite. The manager sent daily WhatsApp messages and greeted guests at breakfast. Stay at this palazzo!

The à la carte breakfast is great, but service is slow. They definitely need more staff in both the kitchen and the dining area. Waiting 30–40 minutes for an omelette is simply too long.

The rooms were stunning and immaculate. The visual nature of the hotel is beautiful and grand. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were seamless and shout out to Cynthia for her recommendations and to Oliver for the personal touches daily. The hotel was right in the centre of Rome but was very quiet and tranquil inside. The bed and pillows were super comfortable.

The hair dryer for a 5* hotel could have been better. The TV has chromecast you can connect to on your phone but there are no apps on there like Spotify or YouTube should you wish to stream any music. For breakfast the selection of bread and pastries could be fresher - the bread was often stale.

Everything, the location is perfect, our room was stunning, every staff interaction was exemplary. A superb experience.

Nothing… it was spot on. I am already recommending it to friends and family.

Everything! From the lobby, to the breakfast room to our room, everything was beautifully presented and felt opulent. Our room was stunning - the shower was incredible! Three different jets and huge. The bed was super comfortable, the room was spacious and we had plenty of room if room to hang clothes.

The staff and the hotel manager in particular, Oliver Hutton, offered exceptional service. My husband was so impressed with their attentiveness and how “on it” he is. They all work very hard and genuinely want their guests to have a great experience. For my husband who had not yet been to Rome, he was blown away by how good the location of the hotel is. You really can walk anywhere in my opinion. The breakfast choice is also very good which I find incredibly important when travelling and definitely one of the things I look for when reading reviews! A fantastic hotel which we absolutely will come back to and have no hesitation recommending to others.

To really top off this great hotel, it would be nice to have the centre courtyard to use for the hotel. A nice outdoor area with the bar, I think that would encourage more people to have a drink there if an evening. It is an old Palazzo though so outdoor space is difficult to achieve and not a deal breaker.

City Centre location, amazing design, attention to detail and absolutely fabulous staff, regardless if it was at check-in, breakfast, room service or general information. Oliver Hutten is an amazing GM and he loves his jobs and it shows. What a serene place to come back to after a day in the city exploring all the sights and precious surroundings of this truly symbolic and historic city. We loved the hotel, made it our second home and Fellini was the icing on the cake. Check-it out for your self and see what true hospitality may be all about. By the way the service mindset of the GM Oliver Hutten is also reflected in the staff and their approach to the clients. We loved it and in case we're back in Rome, we will definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. Oliver was extremely helpful and Margarita was absolutely amazing! She gave us excellent hospitality and was careful about my husband’s allergies. The two gentlemen downstairs that helped us with our stroller were wonderful! Everyone at this hotel blew away our expectations and the hospitality was top notch. This was our first international trip as a family and we are forever grateful for everyone at the Palazzo Roma for making it our favorite holiday we’ve had.

I loved the staff! Friendly staff! Specially Oliver was there for us whenever we needed something. It’s very close to everything in Rome… nice decor and comfortable stay.

The hotel is an old Palazzo, recently renovated. It has a classical interior and is very beautifully decorated. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The room is clean and spacious. Perfect location. Close to all the important sites. After walking around the busy and noisy streets of Rome, once you walk into the hotel, suddenly, you are in the quiet, calm, and classic Palazzo.

Palazzo Roma is a beautiful and exceptional hotel on so many levels: decor, location, staff, breakfast, check in efficiency, hospitality, cleanliness, and simply everything we look for in a hotel when traveling to Europe. Oliver the General Manager is hands on and very welcoming. Elizabeth made breakfast service an absolute delight and Cynthia was wonderful with check in. I can not say enough about our amazing stay.
