The location amazing.

The bed was soooooooo hard it’s was almost imposible to sleep. I couldn't rest at all. Horrible Night for my back. The price for the property it’s absolutely overpriced

Great location, as the name suggests. Super helpful, friendly staff. Rooftop garden was awesome - a great place to look at the Roman skyline and ponder its history. Comfortable bed.

This didn't really feel 5 star, as the listing suggested. The walls were very thin -- we could hear everything going on in the next rooms. We had to put on some white noise from our phones to get to sleep.

I liked the rooftop dining area. Very charming outside.

Location was great. Room was part of an apartment separate from the lobby. Management responded immediately to a shower repair needed.

Not many facilities. Air conditioning was not very strong. Mattress was extremely uncomfortable, collapsed at the sides like it was very old.

Location, rooftop terrace, portico was great attraction, tiramisu reception, boutique hotel.

Carry luggage up the the hill in cobble stones.

The shower head didn't work properly and sprayed water in random directions. The front of toilet bowl needed to be cleaned from past guests. 🙁

FROM IGNACIO AND CECELIA: Fabulous! This hotel deserves more than an "Excellent" rating. We checked into the Inn early afternoon where we were greeted by Vittoria and her warm and kind spirit. Luckily, our room was ready, and we were given an upgrade to a suite! Check-in was smooth and before we were brought to our room, we were given a tour of the Inn's catacomb "Living Room" with a complimentary tiramisu! Such a delightful welcome and a great way to start our trip! The staff in this hotel just made the whole experience luxury and effortless! From the dinner recommendations, to the personalized greetings throughout the day, and attention to details deserves a special praise. Vittoria - always smiling and ensuring our stay was magical! Giorgia - a ball of sunshine and made us feel like we've been friends for years! Camilla - acted as our private concierge and provided us with incredible places to eat in the city! Had the best meal of my life thanks to her! Rose - oversaw the breakfast room each morning with grace and was the perfect way to start our mornings. Jay and Eraho - took care of our every need with such kindness and sincerity. Dave - made us delicious cocktails on the rooftop each night and was always happy to see us! During our stay, we got engaged and those details made us feel extremely loved and like we were a king and queen! The entire team made this romantic getaway an extremely unforgettable trip to Rome! We will be back!

Thank you to the lovely staff at the Inn at Roman Forum! We were here on a surprise trip around Europe for my wife and this was the perfect way to end it. The hotel is perfectly located for sights and for the ability to walk to bars and restaurants. There's also a great gym nearby, as well as parking lots if you're driving. Special thank you to the breakfast staff who were so welcoming and kind!

Located in an amazing location and an absolutely beautiful neighborhood. The best part was the underground cistern below the hotel! Very quaint and unique!

Great location next to the prime sites; breakfast was top notch; and the bed was super comfortable. We had the garden suite, which was set up nicely and made the stay more comfortable.

There were a lot of cats constantly at the doors waiting to be let in and wanting to be around you when outside. There was also a considerable amount of cat hair on the garden furniture, which made it less appealing to sit on and probably would be a bad idea for those allergic.

Apartment not in the same place as the hotel. Pictures little deceiving-we did not have a terrace and walking up to rooms not very clean and inviting.

the location, the ambience, the quality of the room, furniture, decor, the roof terrace, the amazing staff etc… were all first class.

Nice location away from the crowds! The room was decent, really no place to sit and the bed was not on a frame, it sat just off the floor.

More seating in the room, only one chair was in the room, and it was very close to the bed. The bed should be on a frame so it's easier to get in and out of. The shower leaked on the floor.

Location is fantastic, walking distance to Colosseum. Plenty of restaurants nearby but quiet on the street of hotel.

Our room was in in a residental block a few doors up from the hotel. Hotel confirmed that they have a floor there with rooms. We booked a Deluxe Room and paid AU $300 per night ($227 euros), def not value for money. No laundry service and breakfast was average. Check air bnb first as one of our neighbours booked through there.

Details in the room were dirty. Please clean the trims, corners, edges, sills, etc. The shower door leaked tons on the floor. Showering is stressful.

After 7 days back-packing through southern Italy we were looking forward to two days at this hotel. Staff was friendly and we were upgraded to a suite. And here it started. Ants walking around the bathtub, phone did not work, fridge did not work, half a bottle of wine in the fridge, garden was for two suites only not the rest of the hotel guests, the rooftop terrace was rundown( armrest broken). It was just a sad looking hotel that has been amazing ( the pics we saw online) but now needs some taking care of. Would not recommend this hotel even though the location is great.

The hotel is very central, great view and breakfast was amazing. Staff was exceptional (Thank you Jay & Rose) we will be back!

Excellent boutique hotel in the heart of the historic area in Rome. The rooms are giant and tastefully decorated. The staff is wonderful and goes above and beyond to make you feel safe and welcome. We were greeted with drinks and dessert. We did not stay long enough to try breakfast, but I have no doubt that it was delicious.

An amazing location and extremely interesting

Our Annex room was rather dark and tired and the electric fittings needed an update. The junior suite our three daughters stayed in in the main hotel was very special but the double bed squeaked terribly and their big bath was troubled with an infestation of ants but it was fine overall. The restaurant/breakfast and reception staff were all lovely and very helpful indeed and could not have asked for more from them.

The Inn at The Roman was incredible! The hotel is so beautifully decorated and welcoming! The staff are warm and helpful and love to spend time getting to know their clients personally and treat them like family. This was our first time visiting the hotel and couldn’t have had a better time anywhere else. Having breakfast on the terrace each day was magical with the view of the Roman Forum in the distance. The ruins in the Crypto Portico were unbelievable. We can’t wait to visit again!

Location was convenient and walkable. Room was very comfortable. By far the best feature was the excellent staff and concierge service. Everyone was very helpful.

Their free breakfast was the best! Every morning i had two cups of cafe latte, a bowl of fresh fruits, croissants, and omelette. They even cooked fresh boiled eggs. The staff members were so nice and eager to help too! Its location was very convenient!

Staff support for assistance with transportation was terrible. They Called taxi which never came, almost missed our train, and they put us on bus in which we got fined over 200 euro for not having a ticket, which staff never told us about. Then they offered no support to share cost

Great Hotel near the Colosseum and Form (10 minutes walk) , excellent restaurants , bars and coffee shops nearby . The room was big and beautiful giving the atmosphere of old Rome . The bad was the best bad I ever had so comfortable so we could sleep good and walk a lot :-) The breakfast was rich and staff was amazing trying to help with any little issue especially

The hotel was FANTASTIC! Sure, it is not a "regular" hotel, from a big chain but this makes it a lot better! We we very impressed by the room which was lovely and the staff was AMAZING! Thank you, Martina and all the staff!

Extremely comfy bed, great location and very friendly staff. Very reasonable price as well, they let us check in early with access to upgraded room.

The hotel is in a perfect location near the forum and the coliseum. The staff especially Martina!! was awesome. They did everything including upgrading us to the Spacious and well-designed room suite with a private garden, to make us super satisfied, They also helped with excellent tips and recommendations

Beautifully furnished and clean room with a great location in a central yet quiet area just steps from Foro Traiano, Piazza Venezia, and the Colosseum. Great rooftop restaurant with excellent breakfast and amazing views. Helpful staff. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of menu all of great quality. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful, but in no sense overdone, perfect! Unfortunately not quite warm enough for us to benefit from the roof terrace.
