Great location, excellent staff.
Considering the price, the room was too small and the bathroom was sub-par: there was a bath, but the bath tap only ran cold and to fill the bath you had to use the shower. You can't charge nearly 2000 euros a night and get away with that.

The hotel was beautiful but for the price you would expect that. What made the stay exceptional was the staff. We had lots of fun with Antonia , the concierge, who I had been corresponding with many times prior to our trip.. . This was my second stay at the Eden ( prior to renovation) and I would stay no where else on our next visit. I would surely rave and recommend this hotel to my friends.
As a person with back issues, I prefer a firmer bed. My 3 girls ,who I was traveling with, looked forward to bed time to sink into the heavenly beds.. I don’t know if there could be an option to remove the down topper. . In any case it was not an issue as our overnight stay was only 4 nights and posed no back problems.
