Hostel The Yellow, Rome

The staff was super friendly, gave great recommendations and the location was convenient!

The bathroom space was awkward, not super comfortable.

Such a cool hostel with great facilities available. Really cool vibe and we wish we spent more time there. 8 bed dorms had a heap of space which we thought was nice!

The beds didn’t have curtains but we had extra sheets so just used these instead.

The room was super spacious and the private bathroom really useful. The staff was helpful and I loved the kitchen: a ton of space, utensils and fridge. The shower worked really good. I loooved the location, really close to the Termini and also a 20 minute walk to anywhere else: the Fontana, Coliseo, etc.

The bunk beds where comfy but annoying to go up and down, they are really tall which is great cause you can sit, but your things are far away from you, unlike the person that had the lower bed. I didn't like that there was too many stairs to carry my suitcase.

Great youth hostel close to the Termini station and metro. They have their own bar across the road and lots of opportunities to socialise. Shop and pharmacy around the corner. Secure storage and safes for valuables. Rooms cleaned daily. I was in an all-female dorm room.

The Location is very enticing. Walking distance from Bus stations and Train stations. The Area is very well lit at night. The Yellow Square actually has two buildings each opposite at the othet side of the street. One building for the admin-receptions and shared kitchen, while the other is the sleeping are aligned with their Bars. The receptionists are very nice and very attentive, I was assigned to a bed that I have found out someone already took it. But the receptionist are well mannered and reaarrange it very efficiently. The Rooms are big and well ventilated. There are built in Passcoded Security Metal Deposit box in each side of the bed. The Bedsize is nice enough that I could sit up straight without banging my head. In each bed, there is a electric socket and bed lights. The Wifi is very fast and reliable. The Shower and toilet is in a one cubicle, it is well strategize built so that it would not facing the bed that we were sleeping in. There is a window that can be open for fresh air. Soaps, Shampoos and toilet papers are well provided. The lockers are under the bed which is spacious, just bring own locker for it. The Shared Kitchen is well equipped from Fridge, Tea pots, Microwave, and eating utensils. They provide also free Pasta, Olive oil and Cereals. They have an event in the bar and provide a 1 free beer for the guest. The well equipped Sensor Image CCTV adds the very good security for the guest.

The Toilet and Bath in a room is a little bit stiff. I hope there could be a little bit more space. The Space at the back side of the bed, that is where I have missed and have accidentally dropped my stuff without noticing. I hope the option to have a free red wine than beer at the bar. Because, I have learned that Italian Wine is very known product. I wish there would be a Free Storage Locker for the check-out guest.

Our room was a little bit smelly and the building was old. There are no curtains covering beds.

Loved the location of the stay. Very central and easy to get around the city. Some great restaurants around to check out. The room was big enough for 2 people and the beds were decent.

I like the space of the room. It is big enough for 4 people. Also the cute elevator that's good for max 2 person.

Easy to find the place after came out from the train station. There's a lots of restaurants and supermarkets around there. And it's near the metro station, easy to access to the main attractions. And its bar is located on the opposite, so it wasn't too noisy. They also held various of activities for the tourists. Love its personal safe for our valuables.

I really liked it and I also found some friends there it was a very nice accommodation for a solo traveler everyone were so friendly and the location was also near both bus stop and train station. there is like a bar in front of the hostel which there are like parties going on there every night and I really like that.

My room was so cold although it had a AC but it was really cold.

The hostel has amazing facilities, and the stuff are very welcoming and helpful. You even get a free welcoming drink at the bar :)

The metallic beds are really loud, which is not really convenient when people come and go at different times of the night and the morning. But that's the only minus, so I would just advise everyone to wear earplugs.

Fab location, helpful staff, comfy beds! Absolutely recommend staying here!

There was a gross smell in the bathroom, really musty as if the drain was left open. Luckily there was a window we could leave open to air it out but still, the smell would always come back.
