Really friendly and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. Great stay!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Cathryn and her staff went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. While small the room was comfortable. We enjoyed walks in the downtown area and always felt safe. We enjoyed Portland coffee in the beautiful library each morning.

The hotel restaurant was very good but we would have appreciated more menu items.

Poor restaurant staff were too overworked. We left without ordering. Stayed here years ago, and it was posh. Now, the staff are doing their best, but corners seem cut.

The bathroom in our King Size room was a weird L shape configuration; difficult to maneuver, but still a lovely experience.

Location, clean comfortable rooms. Not much street noise on the 10th floor. The library was nice to hang out in.

Loud HVAC rumbling all night, extra resort fees $29/night, expensive valet parking $55/night that was horribly backed up when we arrived. The fridge didn't have a freezer and was those minimal ones that just hold a row of drinks.

The pris fixe dinner was only average. And then when we got back from the theater the Tavern was closed and we missed our desserts and a drink.

Loved the location! We were walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars. Our room was spacious and having a separate living room area from the bedroom was really nice so we could spread out a bit and it felt more "homey" versus just a hotel room with a bed. The staff was wonderful and friendly and we enjoyed ordering cocktails from the bar and sitting in the library at the end of the night before heading up to our room to relax.

The only improvement I'd suggest is to have drinks available for purchase. We wanted a bottle of water and they didn't have any to purchase (cold or room temp) and the nearest convenience store was a bit of a walk.

Hospitality team was 10/10! Everyone we interacted with was fantastic. Bed was comfy, room was clean, zero issues staying here. Food at The Tavern was so good! Loved that the Azar chocolatier was attached to the hotel. We were there almost daily!

Great location! Beautiful library and coffee area. The artwork on the walls was beautiful and I loved how local artists are supported.

Our bathroom was a little tight with minimal room to move around. However it was clean and well appointed!

Clean rooms, helpful staff, and great location in the Cultural District of Portland. The Heathman is perfect for Oregon Symphony concerts at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall and Portland's Farmers Market during the summer months. Great restaurants surround the hotel to include the Sesame Collection of unique restaurants and fine dining. The Heathman has become our stay vacation spot in Portland.

Beautiful public rooms including the huge, high-ceilings library and the cozy bar. The junior suite is very spacious with a comfy lounge and great bed. Best aspect of my stay: the wonderful staff starting with Brandon and Catherine. Attentive, friendly, caring—they help create a warm and welcoming environment. The Heathman is now my must stay Portland area hotel!

The tavern food was alright, could have been better. Breakfast selection was not as varied as could be and the coq au vin was so so. Service however was lovely. The daily amenities charge should be explained better.

The Heathman is centrally-located in Portland, and it's easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and bars downtown and even in the Pearl District. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the beautiful library in the lobby to enjoy a drink while we read our books. The quiche in the restaurant was quite delicious for breakfast!

As it's downtown, there's some street noise - we heard the occasional siren and the garbage trucks at 5am on two out of three days of our stay - but I am a light sleeper. The valet parking is quite expensive. We found a city-owned lot a couple blocks away that was a fraction of the cost.

We liked the central location and comfortable rooms at the Heathman.

The room was billed as a suite, but is actually has a king bed, sofa and chair. But it was big enough for us to stow luggage without making the room look cluttered. The bed was comfortable, nice linens and thick towels. Everything clean. We had views of Downtown Portland holiday lights from several large windows. Met our needs.

We wanted to have breakfast in the cafe but they couldn't seat us because they were short-staffed. It was Christmas Day, so can't blame them! We had a great breakfast at the Hilton's Mayrose hotel cafe.

The staff was extremely helpful with suggestions as this was a new place for me. The stay was great and beautiful hotel, fantastic location.

Relaxing and festive holiday stay. Welcoming, professional, and friendly staff. Great location near Pioneer Square and wonderful restaurants. Especially loved sitting in the library with a glass of wine enjoying the Christmas ambiance.

Would have been a nice touch to have Christmas cookies and hot chocolate in the Lobby or Library. 🎄

Great location! Comfortable beds. Great breakfast if “smoked salmon hash” - their signature breakfast.

The Tavern restaurant was amazing. We went for drinks and a light bite before our show and in the morning for breakfast. Both times were top notch. All of the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Excellent location!

The ONLY thing is the valet parking is sparse… but we’re in Portland for a show and parking is hard to get, in general

My car was parked by the valet and returned in the morning. Unfortunately, this establishment bottomed out my car and tore the protective fabric underneath. I called the hotel and asked to speak with management. I was told I'd receive a call back, but never did. I will NOT be staying at this hotel again.

The check-in ambiance is more on the "efficient side", but the library and fireplace sitting area is quite comfortable!

The hotel confusion on check-in regarding the pre-paid reservation and the fees, and their locating the reservation in the computer.
