Kimpton Hotel Palomar, Phoenix

Loved the location!!! Right in the middle of everything. Also loved Eden and the pool. I’ll be back !!

Perfect location to attend a ballgame at Chase Field. We were able to park the car and not use it until we left. Walked to excellent restaurants and Chase Field. The room was very comfortable and the staff super friendly in the bar(s) and the front desk!

Great hotel and space close to Chase Field (ball games) and for walking around. Liked the in/out parking access also. Pool was great! The Blue Hound a great spot and delicious food. Easy to meet up with friends and go out from there.

The music at the pool/bar was way too loud at times.

Great downtown location that wasn’t too busy! Lots of places to eat and see really close by! Beautiful rooftop pool with a bar and restaurant that was really fun!

I had paid for parking with my reservation but didn’t specify valet when we pulled up! The attendant sent us to the parking garage, and when we checked in we were told parking was included and to pull up out front! So we had to go get the car and go right back to valet where we started, and the attendant still tried to tell us we were wrong! He checked with the front desk and then happily parked our car!!

It’s a very dog-friendly hotel, but would have liked to have better access to a location for turf or rocks for dogs to do their business (closest location was 2-3 blocks away).

Best hotel stay in a long time! This place is on their game, from check in to cleanliness, staff were all friendly and know what’s going on! The fruit infused water in the lobby was my fav! Best location for going to a concert at footprint center directly across the street! The rooftop pool/bar was a great addition to staying here! Even has a Resturant/bar inside for late night grabbing a drink or getting something to eat, I came for a girls overnight stay to see Kelsea ballerini and we enjoyed the cozy room and even had robes for us! Parking made easy directly next to the hotel you can choose valet or park yourself! Highly recommend staying here! 10/10

Nothing super special about a 500 room. Old countrish rooms.

I love the room. Big, spacious, comfortable. I loved the location. I loved the free coffee in the morning. Everyone who worked there whom I came into contact with, were terrific.

The location of the motel was ideal, was able to attend a Phoenix Suns NBA game which was literally across the road from the hotel. There was a number of shopping and quality restaurant options located nearby as well

Not a lot to dislike about the accommodation

The location was very convenient for our needs that night. There were plenty of restaurants that were walking distance to the hotel. We were able to walk to the theater where the show was as well.

Seemed like it was an older building, took a long time for the water to heat up. Only one drinking glass in the room, had to call the front desk for another one. There were no blankets in the room as well.

Location great since attending an event in downtown. Easy access to the hotel from the parking lot.

Staff was top notch. Happy Hour a welcome break. Loved the bike loan feature--although, had I known of it, I would have brought my helmet. I think few experienced cyclists would ride in any setting (especially urban) without one. Put that out there!

Some shabby features in the room (chair and table well beyond their expiration date)--but this was discussed with you guest manager. Having to call down to the desk for a coffee pot? Really? That is a minor inconvenience, but when it shows up without all the internal components and ends up flooding hot water everywhere, that made it a real pain. Finally, when two people find but one robe in the room...well that's a conundrum. But calling down for another and learning there were none (or that one was the max--the explanation was in limited English)? If you can't give one to each guest, why bother at all?

Proximity to the wedding venue. Our son got married Friday night!

Everything is close by and it is a great spot to go out and walk around.

The parking was a little confusing since one of the streets is closed. Valet parking made up for it tho.

there were so many amenities and it’s very central so there are many things to do around.

everything was perfect the only thing was that when we arrived to the room, two of the pillows had hairs on them :(

It’s close to Chase stadium and abundant night life.

We paid for a suite with a view and the windows were extremely dirty. Kinda disappointed with that.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Right across the street from concert venue.

Rooftop bar needs more food options

It did smell like someone had smoked in the room before us but I understand that is not on the staff

Everything was in walking distance and frys supermarket was right next door. It was great. The bluehound restaurants ceviche was excellent. Great service

The Phoenix heat and humidity that day!!

Great location, great staff, easy check-in and out process. Clean, spacious room.

Price was a little high for our liking.

LOCATION WAS PREFECT, the pool was great.

Laking in simple amenities for more a one day stay, no fridge, coffeemaker, microwave or comfortable seating.

The reception agent was very helpful and accommodating. We had a little issue locating our reservation but the agent persevered and in the end, all was fine. This could have been different as the property was booked and we would have potentially been on the street during a very busy weekend in PXO! Our room was fine, a bit dated but comfortable. The bathroom was the best part! Nicely appointed and plenty of fluffy towels. Too, the refrigerator encased in a cabinet was a great touch! At the end of our first day, the trip to the bar was a treat…great bartender who knew what an Affogato was!

The couch in our room could use some love as could the chairs around the table. Reupholstering could do the trick here.

Location is amazing, pool is the best in the area. Blue Hound staff were exceptional and friendly.

Walking distance to show venue. Great restaurant and slept well in the comfy bed.

Bought parking with our show tickets at 331 E Jefferson and should have used the hotel parking instead. Was way out of our way.

The furniture in my room was torn and old ..

I had drinks at the bar at the hotel and the drinks were delicious.

However the drinks were extremely overpriced and the ice left little room for the actual alcohol.

Our tub was a little dirty

In the heart of Phoenix, this hotel had a perfect location that is close to main event centers, bars and restaurants. Very expensive for the quality. Rooms ok but not “wow”. Front desk staff and valet service was superb.

Overall hotel a little blah-decor not great and room comfort could have been better.
