Hotel Le Meurice, Paris

Nice breakfast

Very old property, old doors, windows, stains on the marble. Doesn’t worth the price unfortunately. Spend same amount somewhere else. Street is very busy as well.

There was an African summit / conference at the hotel for our entire stay. You could not use any facilities in the hotel and the hotel was constantly over crowded. This was the worst 5 star hotel experience i have had. To make it worse the staff where very matter of fact and offer zero solution to this - guests should be infirmed when booking of such events which turn a luxury hotel into a conference venue

They charged 1000 € for already cancelled reservation in the restaurant, after complaint they remowed. Small room, Not ver y cosy lobby. Semi rude entrance hosts, questioning if we stayed there late evening (we came with daughter 13 years). Very poor value for money. Like an ordinary hotel overall but overpriced

Restaurant for the breakfast was full and had been arranged to the restaurant just besides, which is not as beautiful. Should not give the client the feeling that they are treated differently. You need to also ask the food for several times. It’s just so hard to get their attention on the service. The room was small and old and no light at all. Facing an extremely small courtyard. The desk chair was blocked by the bed while the bathroom size was far too big. It’s disproportionate. There is a lot more to say… anyway, it’s overrated.

I am giving my rating based on our bad experience with the front desk, i.e.,one particular reception staff, the day we were checking out. Very very rude, and I don't think they respect guests. After a series of mails exchange, I still haven't heard them apologizing for their staff's attitude and how he spoke to us. Will never go back to this hotel. When we as guests are not throwing attitude after paying a huge amount, then i think the hotel reception staff should behave well too. I am still waiting for an explanation, which I don't think they want to do.

The food is not even in the level of any basic fast food. It was a real pity to see such a beautiful palace with such professional staff serving such test less food. I wish for them to change their chef rapidly or just to find one. The food is part of the expérience especially in such level and hôtel category.

From the moment I arrived the service was impeccable! My room was Devine - bathroom was majestic. It was my birthday and the hotel surprised me with a gorgeous cake and champagne! Room service was exceptional! It was also Fashion Week and I was there for business for my store and it was a great location to see everything and everyone coming and going. It was a dream and Le Meurice is a dream hotel. I will be back again!

For the room we got it was pricey.

Loved the location, bright, tables at a distance, excellent service. We loved the bar. The staff was attentive but didn’t hover. The chairs were so comfortable, the lights dim but not dark. The staff was unfailing in their smiles as we passed in the corridors, the murmured “bonjour”. Their attention to detail. Your florist is amazing. Dinner at the Chef’s Table was truly memorable. The linen throughout the hotel. It was what we hoped for and much more.

Just keep doing what you are doing, it’s magic.

we had 2 different rooms, the first one facing the inner side of the hotel was really (too) small, the second facing the park on Rue Rivoli side was so much better on very aspect

Beautiful, like being in Versailles. Spacious, comfortable, luxurious rooms. And with two exceptions, the staff was outstanding, friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. This would have been a perfect hotel experience -- which it should be, given the price -- except for the two issues in service.

The breakfast was fantastic, the staff as one would expect. The concierge service was above and beyond expectation. Can’t say enough about them.

The first image of the hotel on Booking.com was of the rooftop terrace and this was the reason I chose this hotel. There were several images of this rooftop terrace showing spectacular views of Paris. However this was not open to guests as it was part of a suite. I was extremely disappointed and cheated as these images gave a false impression of the Hotel facilities.

That this was a surprise to my wife, but the price was shared with her. Although I specifically asked not to. That I assumed that break was included, that was what was in booking.com, but the opposite was said to her.

This hotel is exceptional, second-to-none! One feels the history in every corner! Fantastic location in the heart of Paris Amazing staff always eager to help: special thanks to Estelle N. and Maria S. from the guest relationships team; to Astrid the fanstastic concierge always eager to help and Marinna at the reception. Although the hotel’s location and facilities are superb the absolute star bill of the Meurice is their staff! Utterly professional, knowledgeable, and excessively gracious and accommodating!

This list of what we loved is not exhaustive :) - Most staff were excellent. Amelie and Diane were fantastic even before we checked in - The Valmont Spa is superb and with great products and therapists. - The vegetarian dishes in Le Dali restaurant were superb - Best croissants in France. Thank you Cedric Grolet. Such a pleasure to eat pastries of this calibre. - We stayed at the Executive Suite on the 6th floor and it was a beautiful room with stunning views of pretty much most if not all of the Parisian skyline. Yes, including an absolutely uninterrupted view of Lady Eiffel. - Room service was fabulous and the staff were all very nice and helpful. Perfectly professional. Omelettes are superb. - Cleanliness is 10/10. Super comfy bed and pillows as expected. Beautiful bar in the room. And brilliant lighting facilities in the room. Great shower as well. - The virgin mojito in the bar is great - The food in Alain Ducasse is well-worth experiencing and the head chef is wonderfully polite and friendly and makes an effort to spend ample time with the guests.

First and last impressions matter enormously in the hospitality business: - Initial check-in experience could have been smoother and more stream-lined without having to jump to several members of staff. - We were informed that we can lunch in the restaurant and someone will alert us when the room was ready. They forgot and we had to ask / remind at 3 pm which was the official check-in time. - Check-out when settling a pretty significant bill after in an Executive Suite for several nights and spending several thousand euro was cold - very little gratitude, appreciation or acknowledgement. - Easter brunch is not something we would repeat again. The lamb was poor and the staff struggled with English calling a plate of salmon (fish I don't eat) a plate of seasonal vegetables. - It is disappointing when your drink orders are ignored or forgotten more than once and without a sincere apology in a high-end Michelin restaurant. Staff errors can and will always be made but it is how staff react to those errors that stays in a customer's mind. - The quality of tea and coffee do not do justice to an establishment of this standing. Please always remember to bring/ serve milk when A guest requests it. Continuously forgetting this becomes a little frustrating.

Staff at the restaurant and bar are very kind and attentive, always smiling and aiming to please. Breakfast is fabulous, with good selection even for vegans! The hotel atmosphere is elegant tough very comfortable and does not feel snobbish. Everyone seems welcomed.

Concierge staff could so better. The lack of proper umbrellas for the use of guests is strange in a hotel at this level. Lack of bicycles for the use of the guests is also a shame.

At checking out asked my luggage to be delivered down from my room and be ready to pick it up and go straight to my train departure. So 1,5 hours was not enough to bring it down. I had to wait another 15 minutes and almost lost my train. This experience spoiled all the impression

The staff and service was impeccable

No tea facilities and the price for a cup of tea was eye watering. Plus little extras charged for calling a taxi were not appreciated.
