Beds were comfy and private room for 4 was really spacious! Elevator worked great & everything was really nice and clean

Unfortunately our room had no hot water which was a shame since none of us could wash!

The location is not far from the train station. The staff is friendly and quickly solve issues. The facilities (shower, bathroom) are clean and tidy.

When I arrived at my bed, it is kind of a mess, probably not cleaned after the previous person. The walls are not very soundproof, I can hear people from other rooms making loud noises after 10pm.

- I was checked in to a room that hadn't been cleaned yet, they gave me another room immediately - I couldn't get warm water in the shower - our room had no curtain, make sure to pack a sleeping mask if you are sensitive to the morning light - there are no bedside lamps at the beds, so when my noisy roommates came back at 3am, the big light had to be turned on - the lockers under the bed work as big, sturdy drawers, you need to pull them out almost completely to get your stuff in, which is a bit noisy - there is no common area apart from the reception loungue and a bar - the building has a somehow ugly golden facade (this is a personal preference) - I don't know why they call themselves a design hostel, whether it is due to the tiny reception area or the millennial-ish white tiles in the bathrooms, I already stayed in more vibey hostels

Beds are more or less comfortable. Everything is clean, cleaning is done every day. Rooms are isolated so you hear nothing from the corridor. A lot of space (for a hostel). You have a locker (without lock) to put medium bags inside. Shared bathrooms and toilets on each floor in case one in your room is occupied. Wi-Fi was working nicely. Cafe/restaurant. Good breakfast. Summer terrace. Ping-pong tables. They organise different events. Generally, it’s a place for youth, so I felt very safe there. Stuff is very welcoming and nice. They also answered messages on booking fast enough to communicate.

Beds have metals screens which help to save a bit of intimacy but don’t have curtains to get rid of the light or stares in shared rooms. Shower in the room was broken. Water was always cold or was switching automatically. We had something undefined instead of a soap. No place in the bathroom/toilets to place your things except for the floor. Wi-Fi was functioning well while connected but was automatically disconnecting few times a day. Everything « extra » is payed extra. No place to store the luggage (or so I was told). No kitchen / refrigerator or even teapot or a microwave. No place to eat or rest / study : there’s a room between the entrance hall and the bar/restaurant, but it’s basically OPEN air, so it’s always cold there and it has no light, so it’s dark as a deepest cave. As it’s a place for youth, there’re lots of teens and children all the time, like noisy crowds here and there. They have no security for the entrance, so anyone can get in (you have your room with a unique automatic key, if you feel that’s enough).

It’s good if you’re staying for one night. I like the fact that it’s open throughout the night. I returned from a concert that’s far away in Tremblay and I got in for 2am and I was able to go into my room and rest.

The bathroom light needs its own switch because as I was in the middle of showering, the light turned off all of a sudden.

Only one of two showers were working in the room. No privacy curtain for the bunk.

I had a great stay at this hostel! The location is very convenient, with a metro station and a supermarket nearby. I explored the area alone at night and felt completely safe. Initially, I was assigned the top bunk, but since I had a leg issue, I asked to change, and the staff immediately accommodated my request without any problems. This hostel is a great option for saving money in Paris, where prices can be quite high. The affordable price makes it an excellent choice, and I highly recommend staying here!

The location is easily accessible. Its at Colonel Fabien circle and there is a Metro connectivity to this place. Its just 23 mins away from Monmatre in Metro.

1. There was no jet spray near the commode (western toilet). We Indians don't use toilet papers. Also, toilet papers couldn't be pulled out of socket. Despite I raised the complaint, issue was not resolved. 2. The reception area had some weird smeel which I didn't like 3. The reception area is painted black which didn't look good.

Good Hostel option, value for money

Stingy with cups, asked for paper cups for my room of 4 and they would only give me one.

I met amazing people in the room, the service was good, they could speak Spanish or English. The lift was pretty quick and the bar is good, you can go to chill or even to play karaoke!

That they do not clean the toilet / bathroom on the shared rooms every day. They also don't sweep the floor often. I was lucky my room was most of the time clean but it would have benefited from a bit of care. The pillows could be better! And unlikely, the room heater wasn't working but they provided us with a spare heater.

Very lively spot, great location a 2 min walk to the metro. On site bar and club. Room was comfy, spacious and clean.

Air con was very weak we didn’t really feel a difference with it on full fan. And the corridor wasn’t well lit - needed a flashlight to see where to put the card in the door. And our room smelt of sewer pipes from the bathroom, we didn’t make a fuss since we were only in the room to sleep.

We stayed in a private room which was perfect for our quick layover in Paris . It was clean and the staff were lovely which made for an easy check in and check out process. It is located close to the Metro so it is easy to get around and see all the sites!

Good sized room and close to numerous metro stations as well as a supermarket across the road!

When we booked we didn't realise that there wasn't a kitchen in the hostel.

The building decorations are great! It is well connected to the city center.

Adding curtains to the beds would gave the bedroom a great fake sensation of privacy.

Great location

The terrace on the top floor was nice. The staff was friendly and spoke English. The bar is fun and the drinks are well priced.

The bathroom left a lot to be desired. Water pressure was low and the shower door wouldn’t shut. The bath was too big to fill up in a reasonable amount of time and couldn’t achieve a comfortable temperature.

well, I guess it was very cheap, so I can't complain that much.

cleanliness can be improved. and since you pay a very low price, normally it's pretty far away from the city center. but it's very close to bus stop and metro station, so it is still helpful :)

The place is perfectly located, just a short walk to the metro, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. While it was much better than the reviews we saw on Booking.com, there’s still some room for improvement. It bathroom could have been cleaner, but overall, it’s okay—an 7/10 for us in terms of cleanliness.

We would have appreciated small touches like towels and a kettle, which would have made the stay even more comfortable.

It’s just a few steps from the metro station, and the breakfast is good and it’s inly 9 euros, Harriet and Pietro are really really nice people other than that place is not friendly at all

Bathrooms are filthy, wifi is no good at all, they charge even for a glass of water (guys you are not going broke if you give free water), bedsheets were not clean, toilet got clogged constantly, shower is so dirty and it doesn’t even have a bench or anything, not even hangers, your clothes go on the floor (I stayed in room 801), every little thing is charged and expensive, will never ever stay here again, if you can please save yourself money and trouble and stay somewhere else

I want to report about one bar staff as he mentioned to me he was a manager from India.The gentleman is tall around 40 years,not friendly and professional in his job and generally in customer service.

I liked the location, just steps from the metro station. I had no problems during my stay, nor with the other guests in the room; everyone was mindful and quiet. The staff was friendly.

The cleaning could be improved; the bathrooms, in general, don’t appear to be cleaned every day. The breakfast wasn’t great, and I would not recommend it. There is also a fee to store luggage after check-out.

Very professionally run and the rooms are clean. Located in a great neighborhood close to downtown and surrounded by wonderful coffee shops.

There are essentially no communal spaces to relax outside of their restaurant. Additionally this means that no outside food or drinks are allowed in which is unfortunate for most hostel-goers.

The reception staff are very helpful, advised me on the places to go and with insider tips. They also helped me trying to contact other places that speak French. The hostel is nearby a metro and bus stop. The bus can directly take you to East Station, city center, notre dam. You have to bring your own lock for the closet. The closet is good fit for a travel bag and other small items. Given the price and the easy access to the transport, it's a good choise.

Initially the room that i was allocated had heating issue. After the 2nd night they changed me to another room, which could have done earlier, without letting me suffer in the cold for 2 nights. The breakfast is limited to few items. The only breads are really difficult to break and swallow. They only have a small selection of flakes, muscles, a cheese cut and slices of ham. Only one juice and either tea or black coffee. Further in the hostel restaurants the food and drink prices are too high compared to nesrby restaurants. During my stay, the sheets and bed covers were not changed. The common showers have a strong smell. You have to bring your own lock for the closet. The closet is good fir a travel badlg and other small items. Given the price and the easy access to the transport, it's a good choise. Except the breakfast and cleanliness.

Bed is not comfortable i request 1 king bed they gave me 1 king bed but compined from 2 singel bed sheets, Only 2 towels, No cleaning service, No water for drink in room, no coffe machine in the room, Machines located downstairs they have prices for drinks, etc. Expensive more than other machines and markets.

Bathroom wasn’t clean at all! Daily cleaning of bathroom is required in a mixed dormitory. Having a curtain for the bed would be so nice!

Right across from a great metro station, so it’s very to get around the city. Clean property with modern facilities and not noisy at night. The beds have lockers that were big enough for my bags and extra space. I recommend going to Bouillon Chartier for great French food at a great restaurant for VERY good prices

Please add curtains to the beds, especially as mine was in front of the door. When I checked in, there were sheets and a blanket folded on top of my bed. I went out for a little, and when I came back, another guest had gone through my sheets and blanket and thrown things around. Also a crazy guy tried to chase me in front of the hostel so I just went inside, however I’d been lingering outside on the phone. If you’re just passing, you’ll be fine.

This has been the worst hostel I have ever been to be honest. Not clean at all, the sheets were with marks and toilet was dirty, you had to pay extra for everything even the towels, there were no common spaces you can socialise with other people except the bar where you must buy something and the prices seems to me pricer than other places..
