Hôtel Bienvenue, Paris

Boutique style. Good AC. Very accommodating staff with a kid friendly room with daybed for 5 yr old. Location was ideal, access to a small grocery store, pharmacy, and multiple metro lines 3 to 10 min walks away.

Nothing. Be prepared to take the stairs even though there’s a very small elevator but you can’t fit much in there. It’s not a fully accessible hotel other than rooms located off the court yard on the main floor.

Receptionist was not v helpful. Not happy when we approached her about anything. No food in hotel only breakfast which was an extortionate price if eur 18. Bar had v little drinks and even at that, they ran out of prosecco.

The room was clean, the location was good and the staff were friendly enough.

The room was sooo tiny for the amount I paid! Bedsheets were not changed and the toilet wasn't cleaned as well. They charged me for water without informing me beforehand that it was chargeable. I didn't get new toiletries and the room wasn't that clean so I stopped asking for it to be cleaned.

The room was small but adequate for just 1 night. We had stayed in this hotel for our 40th Wedding Anniversary so were very pleased to find it again. It was within walking distance to Gare du Nord ideal for Eurostar but for our second stay we used a bus to the station. breakfast was not included but plenty of good cafe/restaurants close by. Lovely enclosed garden for late night relaxation.

The lift to the 4th floor was very small, only just room for 2 people without luggage so we took it in turns.

Clean, friendly and personal. Excellent location and nice breakfast.

Walls are definitely thin but this is hard to help in a historic building. I much prefer the character of the building to soundproofing but if you are a light sleeper you may feel different.

Very expensive for the quality of the room. Tiny shower. Poor air conditioning.

We were robbed from our ‘secure’ room safe. All our money was stolen sadly.

Was a sweet hotel in a good location.

It was tired not a nice as the photos. The carpet in each of our rooms was stained, bathroom very small, very limited hanging space for clothes, air conditioning was very loud. Had 4 pieces of jewellery stolen from our safe, management was responsive but only suggested going to local police. No compensation given. Very upsetting.

We loved the stylish, boutique-style decor of the lobby, restaurant, and room. The courtyard was an especially nice bonus, with sweet-smelling jasmine climbing the walls and lots of shady places to sit and enjoy breakfast or an afternoon apéritif. Our room was a little bumped and bruised, as many hotel rooms are, but it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is tiny, so it may not be comfortable for larger people, but was fine for my daughter and I. The staff were all friendly and willing to help, and gave us some great suggestions. The breakfast was lovely - no hot dishes - but great coffee, homemade yogurt, fruit and a selection of breads, meats, and cheeses were perfect. We loved the location, as we felt tucked away from all of the tourist crowds, yet we were still within easy walking distance to Montmartre, Galeries Lafayette, a metro station, and plenty of great cafés and restaurants. We would definitely choose to stay at Hôtel Bienvenue again!!

We didn’t realize we had air conditioning in our room until the day we checked out - no one’s fault but our own - but we would have been more comfortable sleeping at night if we had known it was there!

The room was very small (only room for the bed). Bathroom was run down and shower leaked. The room was on the street so was very noisy as lots of roadworks happening from about 7am. The air conditioner does not work.

The air conditioning at times was very noisy and impossible to adjust. Thankfully it was not hot and we could open the window because the street outside was quiet. Plug by bedside on right did not work

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The small boutique hotel is located close to Galeries Lafayette, Palais Garnier, Pigalle with a lot of restaurants / bars and two metro stations nearby. Dyptique products in the bathroom.

The door to our room did not close properly, the carpet was soiled, some furniture looked worn and was partially dirty. Also there was a bit of mold in the shower. However, towels and bed (linen) were neat.

We booked a triple room however it is an incredibly tight space for three people and their bags. The 3rd person would not be comfortable for longer than 1 night. Considering this for the price I would say it’s quite expensive for the size of the room.

Very small but to be expected in Paris. The elevator is tiny, enough room for one suitcase with a person squished in beside it, a little inconvenient if you have a few people with luggage but also kind of fun/part of the experience.

Cozy, felt safe, typical French, small room with great lighting and felt inviting, easy to keep clean, complimentary espresso and herbal tea most days. An outlet in the bathroom for curling iron. Hair dryer provided. Daily room refresh. I only had one day where they left a full garbage bag on my suitcase and dirty cups. It looked like someone had to leave in a rush. Great location to walk to the Eiffel Tower, Montemarte. Felt centrally located on a quiet street with a small grocery store close by on the same side of the street with great prices. They were thoughtful and gifted us a milk chocolate Easter egg on Easter. People at the front desk were very kind, warm, friendly, welcoming. Room was warm without having to use the heater on days in the 40’s . Window (with black out curtains as well as sheer curtains) opened for fresh air, which was lovely.

I heard my next door neighbor quite loudly and the loud unlocking of doors, continuously on some days. I usually wasn’t in my room, so just a little annoying when I was there . No closet for hanging clothes, no clothes line nor heaters to help dry clothes. There was a hook with hangers on it, on the wall and a few shelves to put clothing. I had thought there was a cafe or a restaurant in the hotel, but there was not. I believe they had breakfast catered in sometimes. The dining area wasn’t welcoming to me. It felt small and dark. The day I left, I waited for the person at the desk to take care of someone’s luggage. She seemed restless, irritated (sighed) when I needed time to get Euros out to pay the tax. This was my only tense encounter.

The shower head was loose and kept sloping but I’m sure that can be fixed. The breakfast was very disappointing for €18, I only had it one day during the stay, ideally the pastries would be locally sourced and not cooked from frozen.

Comfy bed. Nice room. Good selection of snacks and lovely breakfast. Good coffee maker.

Only thing I would say would be staff not that smiling and friendly.

Personnel is great! I lost something and they informed me the same day we left the hotel! They even send it to me via post. Very kind.

The room was quite small and also cold (little heating in winter time). I asked for a quiet room so that may be the reason why we got this room, but I had expected a bit more.

Location was great, a short walk to the the Shopping area and easy to get around Paris.

The courtyard was pretty and the location was convenient enough.

The hotel did not have much of a vibe going even though there were quite a few guests; the courtyard was rather quiet and under utilised; the rooms were tiny and the air conditioning was not working, much to our despair. We were not even offered a complimentary coffee to make up for what was a pretty basic requirement in the heatwave. The breakfast was also rather average as were the tea time cakes. Rather expensive for what it was and we wouldn't stay again.

I believe aircon if getting fixed had No aircon just a fan.

We arranged early check in and had an email confirming we could check in from 7am as our flight from Australia arrived at 6am, however upon arriving we were told this was an error and we couldn’t check into our room until 10am (check in is normally from 11)

Friendly, clean, location, decor, comfortable bed and nice sheets.

The bathroom was so so small, could not even dry yourself after the shower. The hot water did not reach the 3rd floor! No luggage rack in the small bedroom.

The staff were very nice, very chatty in both French and English. Lovely music playing in the hotel lobby.

The rooms were very, very small. Also impossible not to hear other guests, particularly late at night I heard someone walk up the stairs at 4am, then someone leave at 5am. Every time anyone opens a door or unlocks it you hear it very clearly. The bed was comfy, but the pillows were far from hypoallergenic.

The air conditioning was not working all 3 nights. Seams to be a recurring issue from what I have read. Staff was nice. Wish they would have provided a discount considering sleeping was difficult due to the heat.

The aircon wasn't working. They told me 3 other customers had complained that their aircon wasn't working either, in the previous hour. In 35 degree heat it was not ideal. We were given a discount to make up for it, but we would have preferred to have aircon.

We chose this hotel for some tranquility and it certainly delivered. Loved the garden courtyard for chilling. Rooms were very pretty.

It was quite warm and humid while I was there and there is no air con. Only a fan. It worked but if it was any warmer it wouldnt have made much of a difference

Liked the room and location

Room was described to have an airport shuttle included in the price, but was then charged an additional €68 upon arriving at the airport. No one explained that I would be charged extra and advertisement made it seem like it would be included in the price. Disappointing.

absolutely lovely design, great location, very cute space and room. Staff was friendly and pleasant. super chic and french feeling, looking out the window just clearly impressed on you that you were in paris.

while whoever designed the place did a fabulous job, the building has definitely seen better days. our room had an outlet falling out of the wall, chipped paint, the carpet needed a deep clean, etc. That said, the sheets/bedding was spotless, and its a 5 star aesthetic at a much lower price. for the money, I was thrilled.

Hotel Bienvenue is a lovely hotel in the heart of Paris. Our room was large and had a great view onto the garden. The garden is a wonderful refuge in the middle of the busy city of Paris. Terrific staff, friendly and helpful.

The hotel is having problems with its air conditioning. Like everyone everywhere there are delays in getting replacement parts. Otherwise there was nothing to not like.
