Grand Pigalle Experimental, Paris

Great location in Pigalle, close to amazing bakeries, bars and independent shops. The rooms were normal size of Paris, but really well equipped. The bed was insanely comfy!!

We loved this hotel! Stayed with my mum and we were both impressed with the room, loved the bathroom, colour scheme and Parisian feel. Cabot fault the room other than it was a little bit noisy from internally other rooms, but not a problem. Great location, lovely area with a lot of great cafes and shops around it. Close to the metro and Gare du Nord. Loved the robes and small personal touches in the room. We felt that they packed a lot in a small space and it was thoughtfully (little table, storage) decorated

Staff were all friendly and in the most part were good. They could have been more helpful, but honestly it wasn’t a bad service at all. Just we asked for a kettle pre booking, it was approved and then we didn’t get one, had to ask several times and we just gave up on it and got a tea from the room service. Not a big deal. But there was some confusion when we asked for tea, we were told by the young blonde guy it was ok to order when we asked in the evening but on the next day the brunette guy said no, but then a lady brought us tea. It would’ve been fine either way but there was some miscommunication. Also the phone in the room was a bit fuzzy- just the one time we used it. But not a bad service by all means, just we think it could’ve been a more personal service with helping us find the lift, and small details.

Tiny rooms but was fine!!

Good location for most of the sights , particularly Montmartre and Sacre Coeur. Not too touristy but plenty of good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpfu. The room was small, as in most Paris hotels but well furnished and had the benefit of a tiny balcony.

The restaurant is small so you need to book in advance for an evening meal

Location was a bit further from where I normally stay but still walkable to key areas.

I was only able to stay for one night, but I didn't feel unwelcome because of it. The room was clean and spacious as expected, and quiet. (It being the Halloween, there would have been noise from the street, but it wasn't warm enough at night to keep the French windows open.) The breakfast was really delicious and quickly prepared. Communication was easy and fast even before my stay, and especially Léa at the front desk was kind, helpful, and very professional. I was very happy to stay at the GPE, would love to return for a longer stay sometime.

The hotel is ideally located with excellent transport links and is just a short walk from the beautiful Montmartre area. Breakfast and lunch were both excellent, and the waiter was especially kind and attentive. The hotel has real character, and although the rooms are small, they are well-equipped with everything you need.

Stylish quirky decor, very comfortable beds and pillows. Room had nice touches and everything we needed. Really liked the Pigalle area. Many cool independent shops bars and restaurants. Short walk to Gare du Nord.

A boutique hotel with beautifully designed rooms, an excellent location, and a professional, attentive team. We really enjoyed our stay.

The decor, cleanliness and comfiness of the bed were all pluses. The location is fantastic but it felt quiet when sleeping.

There wasn’t anything to dislike!

The hotel is very stylish, great location near metro and 5 mins walk to the Monmartre area with fantastic restaurants and shops without being right in Monmartre which is full of tourists. The room was small but that is normal for Paris but they managed to fit a lot into a small space--very innovative. Everything was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I wish I had reserved a room with a balcony--next time! The mini bar is good (very small thing--please remember to refill the cofee pods and the mini bar, thank you!). The breakfast was fantastic--beautiful and delicious--the best scrambled eggs and the best turkey sausages I have ever had. Loved the fruit salad, pastries etc. Everything was perfect. Also really enjoyed the dinner we had the in the restaurant one night.

The room was very clean, well-designed and comfortable. The staff are very warm and helpful, and the food in the restaurant is very good. It's a great hotel in an excellent location that I have stayed in multiple times and will return to.

We had two rooms in our booking but we were not on the same floor, which was disappointing. The local area is busy with lots of bars, so it can be quite loud at night - but the hotel provides ear plugs which were much appreciated!

Very friendly staff, excellent location, loads of bars and eateries and local shops very close by. Felt like a safe area too. Very comfy bed, felt like you were staying in Paris and not just any other hotel. Easily walkable from Gard du Nord (20 mins). Very close to Pigalle metro. About 25 mins walk up to Sacre Coeur so can also sample very easily what Montmatre district has to offer.

The room was great, clean, good facilities, had a nice vibe to it. The staff were really kind and helpful. On arrival they upgraded our room for free (which was perfect way to kick off our honeymoon). The air con is perfect and helped us survive the heatwave. Nice views from the balconies. The location is right between Pigalle and Montmartre, so great for exploring both. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Building located on the corner with restaurants, so in the evening it was a bit noisy. Water pressure in the shower can be better.

Beautifully designed hotel in a good location between Gare du Nord and the sites of Paris

Very compact - it’s what you expect of Paris hotels but if you’re not used to that the rooms will feel small.

The Apartment is spotlessly clean and a great location for visiting the local town and the Eibsee lake. The rooms are quiet and extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend Mount10.

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and we were first of all upgraded to a slightly bigger room which was a kind gesture. Our room was absolutely stunning and we were able to open our windows and have a glass of wine looking out. We did have a small leak in our toilet one day but they repaired it immediately and then offered us a suite for our final two nights just for the inconvenience. They were so accommodating and welcoming, I don’t think I would ever stay anywhere else now in Paris. The breakfast was also so so good and location excellent.

Great hotel in very good location for Gare du Nord. Lots of the city walkable from here. Good transport links. Was upgraded and room was small, but it is Paris and was finished to high standard. Had room 206 which was on street but quiet. Breakfast was amazingly good and filled us right up.

Location is excellent. The rooms were fabulous. Lots of extra touches.. chocolates at night on your pillows. Dressing gowns. Hairdryer. Staff were so accommodating as our luggage was lost in transit!

Really nice place to stay. Good sized room for the area, comfy bed, and friendly staff. Conveniently located yet, considering the location, surprisingly quiet. Close to a lot of touristy areas, but just off the path enough to feel like you're in a "local" area.
