Room size. Perfect Location. Style. Nice view to the park across the street

Rooms are dated. Carpet must be musty. Chair had stain on it.

A Booking.com screwup left me without a room for two nights and Lord Elgin had one available - at much greater cost. But it was nice, staff were friendly and I was on business. Sure wish Booking.com system had worked though - the mistake cost me a lot of money for the late registration at Lord Elgin (entirely NOT their fault - they saved me.)

Rooms were clean.

Small rooms. No bottle of water or any mini fridge content. Restaurants was just ok.

The beds are soft and comfortable. The rooms are extremely clean and well maintained. The onsite restaurant, Forty One was great. Staff was very friendly. Location was amazing. Valet parking was definately worth the extra cost. Very convenient. Would definately stay here again.

Had an end room on 4th floor. Was woken up at 3:00am by what I assume was music and loud yelling/talking from a local bar. This would have been on a Sunday morning and the noise continued well past 4 am. Seems a little late into the night for so much noise.

The breakfast was good and service excellent but the food choices were limited.

The hotel could have a means to arrange tours around and outside the local area. Transport to the airport could also be provided. The price is more expensive than I expected.

A little pricey ($400 per night with parking), had a better deal at the Lord Elgin the previous summer.

Great location, 5 minute walk from the market and bar area of Bywater market. Away from Rideau street that does have a few too many problem characters!

The room was good but the property does look really old and in need of a spruce up. The elevators were very noisy and the carpets look warm around the place. Staff were great and I had a lovely stay and felt very safe as a solo female traveller.

Easy check in and excellent service staff. Very friendly and supportive staff.

Hotel is nice, but worn down. There are greasy fingerprints on all buttons in the elevator, which give feeling on uncleanliness…

Btw ACD least was excellent choice between buffet and a la carte. I liked that.

The billing. Quite hard to follow deduction made for safety or damage deposit. Not simple. No receipts but all eventually resolved to my satisfaction after two weeks. Too opaque.

Location Location Location! Roomy comfort. Restaurant for breakfast and dinner terrific, staff even more so. Pool and jacuzzi superb (early morning when not kid crowded!). Accessible STAIRS!

I like the location of the property. It is half the price of château Laurie. The staff is very honest, my wife misplaced her diamond ring, and the staff found it, and it was returned. We were at a cottage, a half an hour away and return to pick up the ring. The staff is very professional.

I wish the parking was included in the price
