Great location, 5 minute walk from the market and bar area of Bywater market. Away from Rideau street that does have a few too many problem characters!

The room was good but the property does look really old and in need of a spruce up. The elevators were very noisy and the carpets look warm around the place. Staff were great and I had a lovely stay and felt very safe as a solo female traveller.

Easy check in and excellent service staff. Very friendly and supportive staff.

The Staff were friendly and the room maid was great too . 5* through out totally enjoyed the stay, would absolutely recommend 5*

Hotel is nice, but worn down. There are greasy fingerprints on all buttons in the elevator, which give feeling on uncleanliness…

Btw ACD least was excellent choice between buffet and a la carte. I liked that.

The billing. Quite hard to follow deduction made for safety or damage deposit. Not simple. No receipts but all eventually resolved to my satisfaction after two weeks. Too opaque.

Location Location Location! Roomy comfort. Restaurant for breakfast and dinner terrific, staff even more so. Pool and jacuzzi superb (early morning when not kid crowded!). Accessible STAIRS!

I like the location of the property. It is half the price of château Laurie. The staff is very honest, my wife misplaced her diamond ring, and the staff found it, and it was returned. We were at a cottage, a half an hour away and return to pick up the ring. The staff is very professional.

I wish the parking was included in the price

Our family had a wonderful stay! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect. We truly felt at home—thank you for a great experience!

It was a bit noisy due to a jazz concert in the park across the street.

Noah at the front desk did whatever he could to make our stay the best it could be! Much appreciated!

close to everything walking down Slater was a welcoming with the pubs and you could sit outside. Very good location.

I was pleased with everything no disappointment

The property was so close to parliament hill and walking distance to the market while also being close to Quebec. Our room was on the 10th floor with a view of the unknown solider memorial and the chateau Laurier, it was perfect! The lobby was clean and all the staff were lovely and pleasant to speak to. One of the front desk receptionists named Julie was beyond helpful and a joy to speak with.

The pool was quite small and filled up quick with all those who wanted to swim. There wasn’t enough room is swim comfortably with so many people in both pool and hot tub. We were also not informed of the valet parking only for $40/night when we booked. The booking page just said there was parking on site. Luckily one of the valet’s and receptionists told us about the city hall parking for much less across the street which was very much appreciated! There were also some ants in our room when we first checked in coming from a hole in a window.

Fantastic location, very handy for the canal, sightseeing in the city, & visiting the numerous restaurants & bars! Beautiful, vintage style hotel, super professional, friendly & helpful staff. Great communication from the hotel before our visit explaining about the front entrance improvements. Big quiet room with a fabulously comfy bed & pillows!

Excellent location. Friendly staff at front desk and in the restaurant and the valet. Breakfast was very good and our room was comfortable.

My daughter’s bed had an improperly sized sheet on it which was taken care of quickly by housekeeping. We just couldn’t believe that this was allowed to happen! The bath towels are very small. It seemed like we waited a long time for the valet to retrieve our car upon check out at 9am.

personnel and its courtesy are for sure the plus of this hotel i asked for a different room and the staff made everything possible to meet my request so

the hotel is nice and has character although some of its facilities are a bit old-fashioned

The pillows were rather flat. No local parking - personally I am not a big fan of valet parking.

One of the staff at the front decided to allow another guest to jump in front of waiting guests. Small issue but really not appropriate.

The whole package, The hotel is central The beds very comfortably The swimming pool was amazing for the grandson's after being out all day.

The hotel was very conveniently located in the central area, surrounded by good restaurants and cafés. The reception staff were welcoming and accommodating.

Spa area was not up to the mark. Shower by the pool was broken.

The room amenities were perfect.

The choice of pillows in the room were either a foam feeling pillow or a very “lumpy” pillow. I had a hard time finding a comfortable support. I didn’t complain as we only stayed one night, but in the past on previous stays, there was a pillow “menu” from which we could choose a more comfortable pillow.

Exceptional service. I like the welcome text message about the Happy Hour available hours and if you need anything, assistance is just a text away. I’m impressed that I received a response back with my inquiry.

The coffee machine is quite dusty and it was not cleaned coz the used pod is still in the pod holder or pod housing.

The location was perfect for attending a concert at the National Arts Centre.

The room had some crumbs remaining from the last guests in the room.

Two double beds were provided with 8 pillows.
