Le Germain Hotel, Ottawa

Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Impressive bathroom design. Drinking water without the plastic bottles is a great idea.

The beds were comfortable and the whole place was aesthetically beautiful

You can see through the shower … even though its dark you can still see everything. Had someone drop off towels and they came in not knowing I was in the shower but because the shower is in the middle of the room, you could probably see everything. Thankfully he turned the opposite way once he realized I was in the shower

Very welcoming staff at the front desk and restaurant. I particularly enjoyed my conversation with the restaurant manage about wine. The front desk staff helped us navigate the city.

I wish the hotel could have provided currency conversion. The exiting of the garage was difficult as the barcode on the parking ticket didn't work and getting garage assistance was difficult I wish someone would have mentioned the red light/ green light for housekeeping. One day clean towels were removed but new ones were not provided

Room was very good. It just contained too many unnecessary light switches.

Simply put this hotel left myself and my wife speechless. The incredible staff at this hotel truly make you feel welcome and they are there to help with anything you would need. truly professional staff. also the room was just breathtaking with exceptional views of the city. The hotel is super clean and perfectly located in the heart of the city. This will be the only hotel we will stay at again when we are back visiting Ottawa.

I absolutely loved the room; it was modern, on trend, comfortable, and spacious. I loved the amenities, like the robes, stemware, and heated floors. The shower was perfect for a couple staying together. Staff were very friendly, including the Norca staff, the front lobby staff, and valet. I also appreciate that the hotel is more ecofriendly than others.

I wish there was a mini fridge in the room. I also would have liked room service to be available a bit later; 10 pm was too early and we weren't able to order when we would have liked. A pool and/or hot tub also would have made the stay even more enjoyable.

It was close to a huge shopping center, the Byward Market which is THE place to be for the best restaurants in Ottawa. Very beautiful very nice surroundings

The property was a nice centrally located hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Personally I found the bed pillows “over stuffed”. I wish hotels would have at least one flat pillow in each room. Also, the glass shower is placed in an open setting, which could be disconcerting for some.

This isn’t my first time at this hotel! Each I come to Ottawa I can’t commit to book another hotel. Le Germain is the one for me!

Nothing! I like everything from the you park in front of the hotel until the moment you leave, everything is amazingly taking care of!

The staff were exceptional. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in at a hotel.

Water pressure was not strong enough in shower room, also the water pressure was unstable on washing area, when turned to warm water, the pressure was unstable. There were not enough water in water station on the 7th floor, I had to go the other floor. Water bottle could be a bit bigger or more than one so I don’t need to go out so many time to get water…

No need to get valet parking, even if it is offered. Garage is very easily accessible.

The room is spacious, beautiful with a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed it. The Hotel is clean and comfortable. Front desk were very attentive and polite.
