Try and avoid the strikes
The beautiful hotel, spacious rooms
Restaurants not open etc from strike made it quite unpleasant, although we walked to Baton Rouge and had a beautiful meal

Great experience.
Everything was impeccable!
The bed was sooo comfortable, the food service workers were on strike so the restaurant options were very limited but we didn't actually mind because what was offered was still amazing.
The staff were really nice and really well styled.
While we don't blame those who were striking, we support them, it was just unfortunate that it happened during our stay. We were looking forward to the restaurant as we heard really good things.

Very good, service was excellent! We had stayed there 12 years ago and breakfast was not offered. Would like to see bacon, ham and eggs added to the menu. Otherwise lots of choices

All in all a nice stay. Would recommend
The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Great location for walks around the lake. Nice service from the staff at the restaurant.
We had a problem with checking in because the front desk could not locate our booking.com reservation. It took 20 minutes for the problem to get sorted out.

Everything was clean classy and comfortable. The cleaning staff must be trained well and treated decently to do such a great job. The crew at the door and desk were the most helpful professional and pleasant group I have ever interacted with at any hotel stay over the past 30+ years. The breakfast buffet was way beyond expectation and enjoyed the atmosphere that the great staff ensured for all. Well done and appreciated after so many disappointing experiences at other establishments in my travels lately.

Awesome room. Great time at the casino. Loved the atmosphere
the guest services was really pleasant and was able to answer every question we had. When we told them we didn’t speak French it was so nice to see how easy it was for them to speak English
