The area is bustling and we always found something to do within walking distance! Rooftop lounge was stellar especially during sunset, a must visit for sure.

No Parking - we did figure out parking eventually but it needs to be addressed.

The front desk staff was excellent. Highest marks ever.

The food is terrible and the menu doesn’t reflect what you are served. If it wasn’t for the really bad food, this place would earn much higher marks.

Great location for all a traveller needs.

We arrived late at night, so weren't really in the hotel for very long. We had a great view of Parliament we like being right beside the Byward Market. Room was clean and comfortable.

Price of room.

Very comfortable stay in centrally located hotel in spacious room with a great city view. Extremely kind, helpful and accommodating staff. Appreciated plentiful supply of bottled water and complimentary snacks provided. Wide selection of choices for breakfast. Fabulous roof top bar.

Nice quiet room with good outside view. Close to tourist attractions and university.

No self-parking, while valets are not punctual. On departure day, planning a long drive, I in advance requested my car present in 6:15am and was promised it, but I've got it only at 6:45am. Bed pillows were all the same and too small for me. Bed sheets and layers under tried to move/jam each night. Surrounding city area is crowded with homeless people and rough due to many constructions.

Wonderful location right by Byward Market, plenty of restaurants and cafés in walking distance. Big room with comfortable beds.

It’s a stylish hotel that is comfortable.

Parking!!! There is a small lot (8 spaces) only for parking. Valet was closed. The next parking lot is 3-4 blocks away, which means most people have to walk to a parking lot with all their luggage. The lots are not secure and while we were there a number of colleagues had cars broken into. So unless you’re flying in or coming to Ottawa without a car, this hotel isn’t a great option.

Location was great. Rooms were nice. Staff was friendly and very responsive. Breakfast was good and rooftop bar was very cool with a great view. In room snacks and drinks were a lovely touch. Short walk to lots of sight seeing and nice restaurants in the Market.

Bathroom door didn't close well due to slider mechanism. Pillows were flat but turns out you could ask for fluffier ones.

The location was perfect for what we needed it for. Close to where we wanted to visit.

The room was lovely, comfortable and clean and the staff were incredibly helpful to me as my airline had lost my luggage

Mini bar options were limited and as I arrived after 11pm after 24+ hrs of travelling I didn’t want to go out

Well maintained, great location. A bit of a dorm room feel, ho hum furniture but very comfortable bed. Great location.

Insufficient parking. You need enough room for everyone you charge. Luckily we were offered a reserved spot.

It's the first time I've been to a hotel that is clean like that! Wonderful job done by the staff to keep the property clean. The room is big enough. Unlimited snacks, beverages, refills, etc. Well maintained. Security at night at the lobby.

If you are facing the parliament hill, it will be loud at night. People screaming on the streets, sirens, music, etc. (was worse on Saturday night). But they furnish ear plugs in your room. The risk to be in vibrant neighborhood. A lot of homeless people surrounding the hotel but that's everywhere on the streets and security staff is there at night.

The hotel is in the city center. Within walking distance of many sights, and shopping centers. Wi-Fi in the room was very fast. The front desk staffs are always smiling and very friendly.

The only small drawback was that there was no larger trash can in the room. I had to unpack a shopping bag myself to use as a trash storage bag.

The room was large, clean, fresh, stylish and hip. The bed was very comfortable.

we couldn't get the thermostat go higher than 22/71. We prefer the room to be a bit warmer so we found it just a touch cool. It took us a while to figure out the shower - it was not communicated that it's a tankless ystem so one has to wait for the water to get hot - but we eventually did and it was great. We had a problem new year's eve with kids running the halls and making unacceptable noise for several hours. I should have called for help but I dealt with it myself. It was not fun. The food at the restaurant was good - not all the way to great - and my meals did not arrive very hot. They were tepid. The Byward Market area is a bit...funky, though that's the choice I made.

Lovely and cooperative receptionist made the check-in & check-out process very easy and smooth. The location was near to the mall, restaurants and many convenience store.

Room service wasn't available on my stay no one was answering the phone for breakfast or dinner, so I had to eat outside the hotel.

Front staff was amazing!! It was our anniversary and they gave us complimentary parking, gave us free drinks. The office admin even moved their vehicle for us to park when we couldn't find a spot. We came from upstate NY and everyone here was so beyond kind. We would never see this in the states. Loved this trip tremendously!

The surrounding area took us by surprise with all the homeless peoples and drugs on the street however, we had no problems. Staff was MORE than helpful and very accommodating.

Booking.com was horrible with the reservations. I found a cheaper rate, and if course, as true to form for Booking.com, did not honour it. Still have not even received an email. Booking.com has horrible customer service.

Seamless check-in and check-out, friendly and attentive staff, great location in market and walking distance to downtown. Room was clean and spacious. Even though I was initially concerned about being on a lower floor, the view was unobstructed and facing a quiet street without much light pollution. Bed was very comfortable!

Parking was quite expensive. Housekeeping also came very late during the day which was a bit inconvenient. And oddly, they ran out of slippers!

Only disappointment was that we left a leather jacket in the room and when we returned later in the day … No sign of it

Loved the room! It was so clean and modern. The window was huge, very nice view. Very close to everything so we walked most places. Staff was very pleasant and they did a fantastic job at making sure our stay was wonderful.

The area was a little sketchy and didn’t feel super safe as it’s down town. I didn’t like how the hotel itself didn’t have parking.

Music in dining hall at breakfast was loud and bad choice foor breakfast

Very kind employees and a great service. We had a room in 14th Flow with view on the parliament, which was really great!

I’ll stay here every future trip to ottawa - a great location, excellent welcoming staff, well priced food, and a terrific room with the aspect we asked for!

The staff was fantastic, however the vegetarian breakfast options were severely limited. For three days, we only had toast, potatoes, and oats as options.

Parking was not included; we had to pay extra and it was first come, first served.It was time consuming and costly!

The location is very convenient, close to all the main attractions and byward market.

The linen is not great, makes me feel muggy even though the AC is strong. The roomkeeping service is stretched when the hotel is full.

There were no pens in the room, but there was paper.

The staff are very helpful, and so welcoming upon arrival! Love the complimentary drink you receive at check in and also the complimentary drinks(non-alcoholic) and snacks in the room!

Room was ready but not really…it was clean however they have to have all rooms inoected by the manager before giving keys to the guest…which is great! However it was 5pm and we had to wait for them to inspect the room before being able to get it, which was a bit annoying after a long day of travelling. The complimentary glass of wine helped while we waited though!!

Our family has a very pleasant time in the hotel. The room is comfortable and clean. Staff is helpful and I would like to express my particular thanks to the concierge staff Jurqan (if I spell correctly!) who is very responsive and sincere.

Check in time at 4pm is too late and check out time at 11am is too early!
