The location was great and right next to train, tram and bus stations. Staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was incredible

i really like the vibes of the hotel , location , staff they were really sweet and good and the restaurant on the ground floor was so delicious.

The spa shop staff could improve their service. Unfortunately, the staff at the spa shop weren’t very helpful or friendly. A bit more explanation and a warmer welcome would have made a big difference. The spa/gym/pool area is set up differently than in most hotels, which can be confusing for guests. It’s a pity, as a clearer introduction would help set the right tone for the experience.

Beautiful, lavish facilities. Excellent location— we walked everywhere.. Wonderful breakfast served in beautiful setting. Our room (deluxe) had large windows that opened onto charming playground,,which made our stay, in what was a very large hotel with conference facilities , multiple upscale restaurants etc feel mote intimate and Unique.

Beautiful hotel. Nice decoration. Attention to details. Friendly staffs. Very good breakfast. A big plus is its perfect location with direct highspeed train from airport and tram station right in front of the hotel.

The location was wonderful!

Attention to detail, excellent location, one of the best breakfasts I have ever had in a hotel with a premium selection in a really special environment, all personnel were genuinely friendly, polite and helpful, while also the rooms are providing an excellent time-travel experience, however with high-quality choices. I am definitely not going to look for another option when traveling back to Oslo!

Paid for wellness spa but no one advised the male sauna was out of order. Downstairs Spa facilities were underwhelming - nowhere to relax indoors and little helpful guidance from staff. No free access to rooms so have to wait in reception for someone to let you through doors - reception often unmanned. Really poor standard massage

The Somerro is world class. Truly an outstanding stay. The staff are amazing. The food is great. The room is comfortable and beautiful. The facilities are stellar. The gym is the best I have seen in a hotel and I am an avid lifter - lots of equipment.

Sommerro is pure luxury. Our room was gorgeous and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve probably ever had.

During our stay the pool was fully booked, which as guests we found quite frustrating. We also didn’t like having to pay to use the pool as guests, as the rooms aren’t exactly cheap. Little things like that feel like a shame when everything else is so immaculate.

Excellent breakfast, amazing quality and choice. The decor and attention to detail in the hotel was impeccable. The location was perfect to explore the city with a bus stop and tram stop right outside and just a 2min walk to the train station.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in Sommerro and we would definitely come back again. The staff are super friendly, the hotel decor is beautiful and you have everything for a comfortable stay.

The pillows were a bit soft for us, so maybe an option for firmer pillows would be great.

The breakfast was lovely. Location was great, it's right across the tram rails so we mainly used those to get around the city for shopping and christmas markets, etc. Staff was very accommodating even though we were extremely late to check in due to plane delays.

More options on the room service menu for dinner, etc.

Nice art deco design is sublime and comforting. Personnel was welcoming and polite. The room apeared to be pretty spacious and well kept. We enjoyed the breakfast pretty much because of desent selection and relaxed atmosphere of rhe venue. Hichly recommended despite steep prise (no a surprise for Norway)

When staying on the 4th floor one mught be suprised by distinct kithchen odours. Drinking water is available from a dipenser of the floor, which is, no doubt, ecological, but pretty inconvenient, especially if you are a family of three and have only one 750 ml bottle in the room

The rooms were comfortable. The style of the property is amazing—superbly designed Art Deco restoration. And the breakfasts were fantastically delicious—everything your heart could desire.

Mega outstanding vibrant house.

Our first room, was a nightmare, especially for the league of the hotel. What kind of view did everybody has who was involved in the room design. And who is responsible in the management who sells that to guests.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at!

Breakfast fantastic with lots of Gluten free and dairy free options. In addition coffee was strong and black!

Waiter made a mistake ( added thousands of extra Norwegian kroners )on our bill and he wasn’t too happy when this was pointed out to him. Not impressed! This somehow went on to the final invoice where I had to again point out the mistake after payment had been taken off my credit card. I was informed that I would have to wait a few days for my money to be refunded back onto my card! This episode certainly took away from the overall positive experience of our stay. Do better!

Personally , I think the swimming pool is too small . Hotel guest has to pay to use the facility.

Lovely, remodeled and updated property that used to be part of the electric company. Many upscale amenities, and the breakfasts were terrific.

The main downstairs pool was closed for cleaning while we were there. The rooftop restaurant closed early.

Beautiful hotel and amazing breakfast. Attention to detail was great. Comfy room and the swimming pool and sauna etc was great. Also loved the in-room Bredo toiletries.

Breakfast service was quite slow/they seemed quite stretched over the weekend breakfast service. More hot veggie options on the breakfast menu. Location was great for getting to the airport but not as central as some other places.

Breakfast is extraordinary and gorgeous dining room. One of the best ever. Breakfast service however was not friendly and often totally missing.

Nice and solid but nothing exciting or memorable. The rooms photograph much better than they actually are. Finishes are decent but nothing amazing. My deluxe room was tight and a very sad exposure into a wall. Reception staff was good...housekeeping was inconsistent not replacing glassware or toiletries. For the price of the room, access to the roof should be included for sure. I didn't even get to see it -- you must pay first even to view or have a drink. Gym is a joke..the size of a closet and not enough room or equipment to get a workout. Should just delete it. Overall vibe never felt very welcoming or fun. The website feels SOHO House the actual vibe at hotel is more like a banker convention at a Ramada.

As long as avoiding the loft room this is an amazing hotel. Very comfortable and beautiful. Restaurants are good with a wide selection, breakfast is excellent. Very comfortable beds.

The place was beautifully designed, the fitness center is top notch, I mean really good rivaling a pro gym. The rooms were clean, spacious and well designed. They have lots of restaurants, a cafe and spa facilities. Attention to detail was very good.

As many have said, they really need to include at least one pool free to people who stay there. Come on, even at a cheap Holiday Inn you get free pool access. Breakfast could be improved in terms of being able to get you own coffee instead of waiting for someone to pour you a cup, which can be a while when things get busy. Also the choices of hot dishes could be better.

Very cool designed hotel und amazing breakfast. Personal was very freundlich and helpful. Great indoor swimming pool and small sauna that had been beautifully restored Short walk to the pier and a tram stop directly in front of the hotel.

The property is gorgeous. The room and bed were super comfortable albeit a little smaller than what I was expecting but that didn’t take away from the comfort or charm- it was outstanding. The breakfast was delicious and location perfect. highly recommend- wish we had stayed longer.

Everything was perfect. I especially liked how you could get still or sparkling water from anywhere in the hotel.
