We requested 2 days to make up the room, and it was until the 3rd day they cleaned. However, after the cleaning, the used tea cups were still left there dirty. There are no phones in the room to call the main desk to request cleaning, towels, etc

Excellent location with great views of Oslo and the ski jump. Room facilities were new and comfortable as the place was renovated year 2021-2022. Adequate breakfast variety and overall helpful staff. Onsite paid parking with EV charging. Free parking nearby short distance of 200m from hotel entrance. Bus connection to Oslo centre tagged 1B, tickets from Rutep app, extremely easy to tackle.

The view at the top is incredible, very good dinner buffet, expensive but I think it’s worth it. Breakfast very good. Ski museum right next to it.

Sofa bed was not comfortable as it sinks in the middle and noisy springs. Not good enough to support even two kids sleeping on it.

The family room is spacious and comfortable, offering a wonderful view. The breakfast selection was diverse and delicious.

Flaws in houskekeeping. Not enough toilet paper in the room (less than 1 full roll for 4 people for two nights), shower initially out of soap and shampoo. The water was draining from the sink very slowly, hardly at all. These were not checked and fixed while the room was checked and rubbish taken away on the second day, so had to contact the reception. Other than these, the stay was very pleasant and we would come again.

The hotel has two parking garages. It is quite expensive to park your car here and not included in the price.

The property is out of the hustle and bustle which is what we wanted after a lot of traveling to cities. The hotel is out of the way so it’s a good place to go if you want to enjoy walking around the hills. We really enjoyed the food and the spa (which you book in and pay for). The gym is fantastic. The beds were comfy. The views over Oslo are great!

The room was hot and the fans were loud so we opened windows for more ventilation. There does not seem to be air conditioning even though there were climate controls in the room- they didn’t work and it was fans only.

As the hotel is a bit out the way it would be good if they served snacks / food all day long as we arrived in the middle of the afternoon and needed something to eat

An exceptionally comfortable stay. They arranged adjoining rooms for us, and the staff were polite, helpful, and genuinely kind. Children could freely enjoy the garden without any concerns. The location is beautiful, offering a scenic view of Oslo from above. Breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this place for travelers with children and their own car—it’s nearly impossible to find free parking in Oslo, making this stay even more valuable.

Overall the property was quite pretty with a very nice lobby area. The location was good for walking and exploring around the ski jump area. It took a bit of effort to get into town but public transportation was quite easy to navigate. The family room was quite large and perfect for 4 of us. Breakfast was excellent.

The property would benefit from new carpet and some garden clean up. Rooms we generally clean though. The location makes it hard to go anywhere but the hotel for food, nothing very walkable. The dinner was either a pricey buffet or a burger for about $28 so we walked to the nearest store one night for food.

Spectacular views from the hotel. It was a a little distance out of Oslo centre but great transport links made getting to and from the hotel easy. Lovely comfortable room

A little disappointed we couldnt get the kids in for a little swim but appreciate its a spa. Managed to get open water swimming so all worked out ok

Everything was just excellent: nice quiet room, not too hot despite being hot outside, excellent restaurant, food and breakfast, kind and helpful staff. Superb view and location.

Very minor feedback: there was no towel to put on the floor after showering.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The breakfast is good, although if you stay for a longer period of time, there will be no variety. The rooms are clean, the hotel staff is quick to respond and answer messages. The gym in the hotel is great 👍 High-quality equipment and a large space for training

I didn't like the fact that you can bring children to the gym and none of the employees enforces this rule. I felt anxious because the child could be seriously injured while playing with the machines. The hotel is located on a mountain. It offers a great view, but to be very honest, without a car, you need to make some effort to get to the hotel (if you use the bus, the way up takes about 8-10 minutes)

Amazing views, disc golf track and a pond behind the hotel, below the jump tower. You can opt for a walk around the area, lots to see and admire. Our family of four really loved it. Parking is well managed, paid parking in the parking house below the hotel or free parking ca 200m away. Kids receive a free mocktail upon the arrival. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious. Stayed in the Standard Family room and it was comfortable, spacious, and clean. Would definitely book again.

A bit disappointed that visitors are not allowed to sit outside after 22:30 local time (we were told that it's mainly due to noise as it may bother other visitors). Would have loved to stay out a bit longer as you pay for location and the view.

This hotel was AMAZING and one of the best we have ever stayed at! Our room was fantastic with an unbelievable view of Oslo and open porch with French doors that let in a beautifully fresh breeze. Walking trails to the ski jump and an amazing breakfast with all the works! We loved the old Norwegian style and architecture of the historic part of the hotel. This is an amazing stay and well worth the extra money especially in a room with the deck and view we had! Huge exercise and fitness center as well!

Food options in the evening are very limited, buffet or burger, which in fact was very disappointing.

The hotel is located above Oslo, with wonderful views of the city. The family room was the most spacious we stayed in out of 10 hotels in Norway, with plenty of room for suitcases. When we stayed, the hotel was full of families with children of varying ages so it feels extremely well-suited for families. Breakfast has many options (and a gluten free section) and was wonderful!

Cleanliness beyond the general cleaning of the rooms would benefit the hotel. Hallway carpets throughout the floor we stayed on were full of stains. The sinks in our bathroom had a cool design but unfortunately the place where two slabs of stone meet to form the drain were full of visible mildew which you could smell once the water was on.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! Well worth the trip out of Oslo. Staff was great. Breakfast buffet was by far the best we had during our trip. Dinner buffet was worth the price! Surrounding area was fun to explore. Highly recommend

A shuttle from train to hotel would be nice. The walk UP with your luggage was rough.

The location and views are incredible. Hotel, food and drinks were all excellent. My son very much enjoyed the buffets.

A little pricey for meals and wine but that seems to be Norway.

We loved the views and location of the hotel. The breakfast and dinner buffets were plentiful with a wide selection of choice and the staff super helpful. We lucked in with a room upgrade and loved the room, the view and the super comfortable bed.

Fantastic hotel in amazing location. It’s a trek out of town but that’s what we wanted.

Not being able to access the swimming pool despite being residents unless you pay the 250NOK which I thought was a bit steep.

Well maintained and attractive rooms with very nice bathrooms

A little far from Oslo center, but worth the drive.

-Great location: surrounded by stunning views and nature, but still easy to get to and from the city centre. -Nice interior: very pretty decor and great atmosphere. -Standard double room exceeded expectations: was roomy, laid out nicely, bed was high quality, huge bathroom. -Breakfast buffet was extensive.

-Room temperature: felt a bit hot without the window open, almost as if the heating was on too high but we couldn't figure out how to adjust it. -Bathroom ventilation: If there was an extractor fan in the bathroom we couldn't tell: the bathroom steamed up very quickly and I found it a bit hard to breathe having a bath.

Breakfast was fantastic - huge menu to choose from, but something suitable for all. The views from hotel were stunning. Room was very clean and beds extremely comfortable.

Unfortunately staff at reception couldn't assist in supporting us book the swimming pool for a family swim (limited to 8-10am). We had no issues with the restricted times for family swim however we were given the business card with spa details and advised to book online. Unfortunately we found the app difficult to navigate, and we were unable to book a swim.

Cost of food and drink was astronomical. Between 130-160 euros per meal for a family of three.

Rooms, while attractive, aren’t as functional as they should be. Examples: no shelf in shower for razor, shaving cream, etc, confusing light/HVAC controls, large lamps on end tables leave little room for anything else, ironing board takes up half the room in closet (could easily fit under the bed.
