The view during autumn was spectacular 😍, picture perfect!

I like concept,design,landscape,and very patient and polite relation of the staff.

Everything was great, just be extremely careful when filling out the form on Booking.com, otherwise you will have to deal with technical support🙂

Loved the location overlooking the town and the Oslofjord. Without a car this would be more difficult

Gorgeous views from the room on the fifth floor overlooking the harbour. Very comfortable room, which we were happy to stay in when waiting out the rain. The communal areas were very pleasant and while breakfast was extremely busy, the food on offer was wonderul. A very broad range of options that invited you to linger. This trip was very hiking focused so location was perfect for getting out onto the trails above the city. Easy access to the Nordmarka. Not a long journey into the city proper, though be warned the hill between hotel and train station is very steep.

Be aware the sauna and pool is not free but discounted for hotel guests, and prices are higher over the weekend. Dining options in the immediate area are rather limited.

The view from the hotel is amazing and the hotel itself truly surprised me for the quality of every area. It's just perfect for conferences and retreat.

The hotel is very comfortable with amazing views across the city ..Breakfast really good with lots of choice & excellent for gluten free & vegan ..Staff friendly & helpful.

Our room faced the views but was in front of the arrival area to the hotel so ..buses, coaches & drop off cars lots of the time & unable to open our curtains without folk being able to see in .. a shame because the views are fab. Housekeeping missed our room on a number of days so needed to ask for fresh towels..the staff were helpful with this & replenished from reception..

First of all, the view from the window in the Superior room is amazing on days when visibility is good. Very comfortable bed. Well-soundproofed room. Delicious breakfasts with good bread.

In my opinion, it would be worth informing hotel guests not to have heated business discussions in front of the hotel at night. It wasn't too much of a nuisance, but it's worth mentioning. A tiny minus - the shampoo was average, and the towels could have been a little nicer.

The location is beautiful. The historic and iconic style of the hotel is amazing! The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Loved it. Would love to come again

I really liked the lobby, i liked that there is a Pool, I liked the view of the hotel itself.

It was too far and the transportation was Problematic, the Spa was excluded of the price, not all parts of the hotel was historic and authentic as it was in the images.

The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and good quality, catering for a range of tastes. The hotel location was great for us- edge of Oslo, but also next to the efficient train line straight into town. We only had a standard room, but this was large, came with a fridge and kettle/drinks,and even had a view across Oslo and the fjord.

Dinner ( there is only one other eatery for miles) was limited and a bit random. Most nights it was a buffet ( 425kr / £35) or burger and chips. The buffet was salmon and a meat option plus carbs/veg. Hit and miss, a bit school dinnery. A la carte replaced the buffet one night, and was quite good if a little pricey.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our meals, especially the breakfast buffet which was so varied and delicious. We made full use of the relaxing swimming pool and spa facilities both days. Again, staff were helpful and friendly. The location is fantastic and so great to be able to take a hike directly from the hotel.

Our stay at Scandic Holmenkollen Park was splendid. The breakfast and dinner buffets were fabulous, with lots of variety and even a dedicated gluten-free corner. The Superior King, facing Oslo and the fjord had amazing views, with direct sun all day/evening. The gym and pool (pool w/extra fee) facilities were amazing, and the panoramic views over Oslo were breathtaking. We were in Norway during a summer "heat wave", having AC was also a welcome treat! The only challenge was transport, since the train station was closed for renovations — access was mainly by car, bus, or taxi. Still, the setting and atmosphere more than made up for it. The staff in the dining areas, housekeeping and front of house were very helpful. Highly recommend!

The location, far from town was the biggest disadvantage if not travelling with a car, which we didn't have whilst in Oslo, so we had taxis a few times to get to and from town. The standard room (a fair walk from reception) we stayed in unfortunately didn't have any view, just lots of forestry/trees in the back, but kept cool and very private.

The beds were extremely comfortable. Location was probably the best around Oslo, with great views of the city and surrounding areas. Evening buffet meal was great, thought it was a little pricy at first. Realising it was great value for money after we could have 3 courses and still have more if we wanted. Also included full local salmon, as much as you want says it all. Breakfast buffet is probably in the top 3, I have ever seen at any hotel, massive choice, great quality and of course, local salmon!!

The only thing I didn't like, is I didn't have a view from my room. That was probably my fault for not reading which room I booked, I just presumed it had the views from every room. Even though it didn't have a view, the room was comfy, clean and very spacios.

Just check the age requirement for the swimming pool because it could be an undesirable surprise for the kids and the requirement is relatively hidden in the hotel description.

The view from our room was incredibly picturesque, the hotel oversees almost entire city of Oslo. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast buffet, which was very varied. The staff was very nice and helpful. There is also a nice small place for kids to play inside the hotel, my son especially liked the table football :)

I had to ask for another room, because the cleanliness in the first one wasn’t acceptable to me. One other small thing which might need some improvement: when you‘re having a shower, the water goes far further than the glass panel and ends up very close to the toilet, so you have to watch your steps when you go make use of it :)

Highly recommend. Great, uncommon hotel. Breakfast was good. The view on Oslo is perfect. Rooms are clean and very comfortable.

The pull out couch bed cover had a large stain on it - my daughter asked for another and was given a sheet. I had to go back, take the stained mattress pad back and ask again for a new mattress pad.

An exceptional hotel with wonderful breakfast and buffet breakfast. The rooms were quiet and beds comfy. And the view was amazing.

The views and the location!

For people wanting to stay in the city centre, it’s not the best but for people wanting nature, it is great!

The view of Oslo was amazing. The staff were so helpful.

Superb breakfast variety, hotel beautifully located up on the hill, ideal gym facilities with premium equipment. Friendly staff, nice cocktails at the entrance lobby, easy to navigate around.

Inadequate bathroom drainage, needed to add towels to collect the water from travelling outside of the shower area. Rather small room for a family of 4, couch unfolds to a bed the clearly blocks the access to the small veranda.

The pictures presenting the hotel are misleading as they present the old, rustic part of the hotel while in fact almost the entire hotel is located in the modern building.

Breakfast too busy. Should be separate bookings. A little far out of town but rewarded with the views. As a family of 4 the room was very small.

We requested 2 days to make up the room, and it was until the 3rd day they cleaned. However, after the cleaning, the used tea cups were still left there dirty. There are no phones in the room to call the main desk to request cleaning, towels, etc

Excellent location with great views of Oslo and the ski jump. Room facilities were new and comfortable as the place was renovated year 2021-2022. Adequate breakfast variety and overall helpful staff. Onsite paid parking with EV charging. Free parking nearby short distance of 200m from hotel entrance. Bus connection to Oslo centre tagged 1B, tickets from Rutep app, extremely easy to tackle.

The view at the top is incredible, very good dinner buffet, expensive but I think it’s worth it. Breakfast very good. Ski museum right next to it.

Sofa bed was not comfortable as it sinks in the middle and noisy springs. Not good enough to support even two kids sleeping on it.

The family room is spacious and comfortable, offering a wonderful view. The breakfast selection was diverse and delicious.
