The sinks in the toilet were dirty, their design makes them hard to clean I guess but it was a little disgusting

It was a lovely location, I felt so calm and peaceful. It was nearby to the metro which made access to the city easy

Position overlooking Oslo is unbeliveable! To management - please, make a photo of a view of the city and place it as the first on booking.com. I mean, ski jumps are cool and everything, but this is where your guests were spending time when I checked - looking at a sunset over Oslo!

The location is great, the view from the lobby bar is amazing and the hotel in traditional Norwegian style, the best place for ski lovers and tourists to visit.

Nice and modern rooms. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good with many different things to choose from.

The spa/ pool cost extra and kids under 15 can only visit the pool between 8-10 am. I can understand that younger kids might disturb people that are looking for a quiet time but a 13 year old should be allowed to go for a swim after 10. Rooms were a little small.

The view when we arrived was beyond anything we could have wished for.

Maybe some cheaper options for room service.

Hotel located in beautiful place next to Holmenkollen ski jump area. We stayed only one night, but the view was magic, personel was very nice and helpful. Good job Scandic!

I loved the view, the staff was super friendly, the rooms were comfortable, and the gym was excellent. It was easy to go for walks.

Beautiful view from the top of the mountains. Delicious breakfast buffet. Professional and friendly receptionists, nice and charming atmosphere. The beds was comfortable, and we had a good sleep every night.

Beautifully located. Quite a climb from the tramstation to the hotel, but worth it. The view makes it worth it, lovely environment near the skijump Holmenkollen. Great place to relax, enjoy a weekend off and with 30 mins you are in Oslo centre.

Hotel on top of a hill with view on the Bergen area. Close to biathlon facilities and ski jumping arena. Very nice. Top for sports, cycling, running, cross country skiing. Breakfast and Dinner very good. Free access to a superb gym facility. Free parking available and access to Oslo by train in 30min, very easy and rather inexpensive solution in Norway 😇

A bit pricey, very small spa area that is not included in the price and booking necessary. That said not surprising seeing the size of the hotel…

Mostly I did not like that kids under 15y.o were not allowed to spa except in mornings from 8-10 am, which breakfast time!

This is an absolutely lovely hotel, positioned such that it offers excellent views of Oslo, is a short walk away from an Olympic ski-jumping location (and museum), and is based in a building which itself is gorgeous. The hotel also has a fantastic fitness center and (beautiful but small) swimming pool and adjacent sauna and steam room. The buffet breakfast is really high quality and affords guests with a large selection of food/drinks each morning. I personally found the location ideal in terms of allowing a 30-minute trip (if walking and using public transport) to Oslo's city center - but the hotel is also located very separately to the city; therefore offering peace and quiet too.

I was staying at the hotel with my son (9 years old) - and I was quite disappointed to be told (only *after* our arrival) that children can only use the pool between 8am-10am each morning. I understand the need for swimming times where children aren't allowed - but I think that a 2-hour slot is far too little, and unreasonably prioritizes adult guests (who don't want children around).

Huge room, incredibly comfortable beds. Had thought we might all be a bit squashed in with a family room but really wasn’t the case. Very quiet hotel at night.

Steep hill get to it - but that’s not the hotel’s fault, just something to be aware of when dragging heavy cases!

Location of the hotel was very nice and enjoyed night view of Oslo City. Breakfast was fantastic.

Shampoo dispenser was not worked well and room lighting switches were combined together so difficult adjust lights at night.

A beautiful hotel with stunning views from the room of Oslo city and Fjord. Breakfast was excellent with a great range of food choices. Easy transport links near to hotel for getting into Oslo centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage after check out and enjoyed exploring the ski jump.

The room was looking amazing, the views from the room and the whole hotel were great! The buffet was delicious! We enjoyed our breakfast a lot and the whole service of the hotel was outstanding.

Getting to the hotel is quite an issue if you're not using your own vehicle or private car, however the views are worth!. It's a shame that you had to pay parking fees whiles staying there.

Amazing place in the stunning location, however a little bit crowded🫣. Delicious, varied breakfast. The views from the outside of the hotel were breathtaking. The hotel is within a short walk to Holmenkollen ski jump tower and skiing museum.

The hotel is really big as well as the restaurant, but still the free table during breakfast was a kind of lottery... There were long queues to the coffee machine as there was only one...

Train station to the hotel. Steep very Steep. nobody mentioned that to us. Maybe a golf cart would help.

The hotel is set in a beautiful location. You can get the tram to it but there is a steep 15 minute walk up to the hotel. The breakfast was amazing and they catered for everyone. The rooms were spotless clean and the beds were comfy. We had to pre book the swimming pool for the kids but it was worth it. It is a very child friendly hotel and the views are amazing. It was lovely to sit out in the evening time and look out at the city. Staff were very nice and friendly.

The only thing that we weren't aware of before we left is that the hotel only excepts visa and debit cards and no cash. We had changed money at the airport but couldn't use this in the hotel. I wouldn't recommend the dinner as it was expensive and you would get much cheaper and good quality food in restaurants in Oslo. We did have the buffet dinner on the first night but were not aware that you could also order from a menu which would have been better. You can only book the kids into the swimming pool for the first two hours in the morning which is fine but would have liked an option of later on in the evening time.

Excellent stay - hotel and staff brilliant - our rooms were upgraded when we checked in so that always adds to the experience. Fabulous location away from the city centre - this was the 4th and final hotel / apartment of our tour of southern Norway and purposely chosen to be "a bit different" - certainly did not disappoint on that front. The nearby Ski museum was a highlight - the view from the top of the Ski Jump is breath taking, but confirmed my opinion of Ski Jumpers - they are truly mad!

Nothing hotel wise, although if you travel from the city centre by metro, the walk up to the hotel is not obvious. Small signage along the route from the metro station would help, although I appreciate that the hotel doesn't own the poles along the route.
