Hotel Continental, Oslo

The staff were professional and well-prepared. Upon arrival, our rooms were ready, and the check-in process took less than five minutes.

The toilet design could be improved :) The flush hides behind the lid so no access till u r done … maybe too much info … but poor design for a very good hotel

It was my first time in Oslo. It was the perfect location to be able to walk around Oslo and even to catch public transportation, etc. The people were great and I especially liked the “eating/sitting” place in the lobby.

The breakfasts were outstanding and the service was excellent. We were in a medium sized king room, 31m2 but it was so well designed it felt larger. Watchout for tourists arriving in Oslo, do not take a tax, the rates are un regulated. We paid $60 for a 10 minute tax from the train station, one of our hotel guests paid over $300 from the airport. Use uber or take the train which is super efficient from the airport to central Oslo.

Location, service, breakfast especially the smoothies, room (double room is actually more modern and bright and new. Room with couch and living area is a little dark and dated). The staff was amazing. Will definitely stay there again if visiting Oslo next time.

Met by a perfect receptionist who asked all the right questions and gave all the right info. Same lady also checked us out., exceptional. Absolutely superb hotel in an amazing location of Oslo.

Nothing much to not like. At a push maybe the bed. It was ridiculously soft., like too soft, but that's probably personal preference. Also on a double bed it was two single duvets which was a bit strange.

We booked this expecting it to be a nice hotel, but only when we met up with a friend who's an Oslo local did we find out that it is considered the best hotel in the city. It's easy to understand why. Luxury without pretention, excellent service, the best beds we had on our entire trip through Norway. It was a hotel we actually looked forward to co9ming "home" to each day. The breakfast really was exceptional. It was simply on point and current in every single respect, which is not typical of "institution" type hotels that often rely on their reputation. To top it off, the location was perfect. Flawless.

Normally I can find one or two things that could be better, but in this case, there really were no faults. Definitely our favourite hotel in Norway, and one of the best we've stayed at in the world.

Very stylish, great rooms. The gym was tiny yet functional and being there by myself was great. Breakfast was very good, both buffet options and the complimentary a la carte options. Really enjoyed this hotel. Super easy to get to with the airport train.

The lounge/bar in the lobby was overcrowded with non- residents and noisy throughout my 5 day stay. Would have been nice with a dedicated lounge for hotel guests.
