It was very easy and comfy. I thouhgt it was more a budget hotel but it was much better than expected. ( guess they keep prices low with automatic check in and no reception)

size of the room is not the nest but acceptable, but they didnt include extra bed for my son when i booked clearly room for three persons

Excellent location, most comfortable single bed I've ever slept in, really smooth and easy check in, luggage store for after check out was so easy to do and really helpful. There were also food options available which looked good although I didn't use them.

Norway is expensive so I could only afford a single room. Wish a double was more affordable!

Great location and good value. The rooms are very basic and provide the bare minimum, but that’s not a bad thing. Given other Oslo hotel prices, I’d gladly stay here again every time.

Location is great - two blocks from the central station and two important tram lines have a stop right at the front door. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I really appreciated the guest laundry, though the payment system for it is a complicated ripoff.

A provided drinking glass and/or coffee mug would have been nice, since a kettle is included. The teeny tiny shower was barely big enough to turn around in and water flow was minimal.

Really easy self-check in on terminals in the lobby. Made it super-fast to get into the room and relax. Check out also only took seconds. Plenty of information provided and staff were on hand, if you needed them. Basic microwave/kettle facilities for quick meals, plus machines for drinks. I believe there was an ironing room also, but I didn't use this as only there one night. Pretty clean and tidy. Decent shower. Pretty good value for money and very close to the main train station and city centre.

Not much space in the room and minimal storage for clothing, etc, although that was expected for the price. The only real issue was loud voices echoing in the light well on to which the window in my room looked. Not the hotel's fault - just inconsiderate fellow guests - but I was glad I had ear plugs!

Really good experience for city break weekend. Centrally located, comfy beds, well sized room, seamless check-in/check-out, good breakfast restaurant.

If I'm being overly critical, if we had multiple pieces of luggage each, the room may have been a little small.

We have been asked to pay again at check-in, even if gthe payment was already done one month before arrival on the booking app. It took some days to get the refund back. During the night a couple of persons tried to open our door because the reception gave them our room! We strongly suggest improvements in hotel management.

Convenient location, kitchen with microwave to prepare own food. Two nice cafés independent from hotel but with entrances from the lobby, that both offer discounts to hotel customers.

Completely impersonal - I am sure there are humans working in the hotel behind the scenes but, from automated checkin to my departure two days later, I didn't see any sign of them! I more than half expected to meet a robot vacuum cleaner in the corridor. A hotel designed by Elon Musk and staffed entirely by AI maybe?

The price was a bit high for what feels like a hostel. The floor is a bit gross in the rooms - looks like it is hard to clean and I could see smudge marks. The shower flooded and wouldn’t drain.

The location of the hotel was great, with easy checkin & checkout and opportunity to store luggage. I’m sure the common areas were useful, though we didn’t use them.

A small tv in the rooms would be beneficial, not everyone wants to use common areas.

Location great for station, trams, sightseeing. Loved the communal facilities for cooking, eating and meeting other people. Rooms were very large compared to where we’ve stayed previously on our trip.

The bed could use an overhaul - too bouncy and squeaky! Would have liked to walk up and down stairs in Building B rather than having to take the lift.

It was a practical hotel, you had what you needed. Coffee at nearby cafes was OK. Everything was basic but good

As there is no front desk at the hotel controlling I popped into very drunk guests. And that is not a nice experience for me

Walking distance from train station and many sites and museums, bus and tram stops nearby for things further away. Super easy checkin.

Plug only near 1 side of bed headboard. Very little space between bottom of bed and wall, had to move thru sideways to get to bathroom, plus desk is in the way as well. Otherwise enough space in room for our needs.

It has enough facilities for short term stay. Electric kettles, microwave, fridge,washing machine and vending machine. Self check-in is convenient and easy to use, especially for luggage storage. It has a fridge and it’s hidden by the modern interior design, many people including me didn’t notice in the beginning. overall it is convenient and very close to the station.

There is a club next to the hotel and I was there from Friday to Sunday. Very loud music, my room was opposite to it I guess. But I was tired enough and I have earplugs, I could sleep.

We loved the hotel and the location! I note that some parts in the room were broken. It didn't bother us though as it was very minor.

I would recommend better shower gel/shampoo supplies, other than that all was lovely!

Great location (central Oslo), easy checkin and checkout. Nice that there are two adjacent cafe’s that offer 10% on the breakfast.

The room is extremely basic (not even a television), and the bathroom is very outdated (very bad water pressure).

The view of the room was sad. There was a lot of hair on the clean bed sheets.. Only one towel offered for the shower, no towel for the face or hands.

Door locks with card only, which is unusual. Rooms are very basic and a bit cramped. There should be a spare toiletroll somewhere since room maintenance is only done sporadically.

Great location, handy to station and easy to walk around Oslo from here. Little cafe attached where you can get good breakfast and also delicious pizza for dinner. Room was clean and had all we needed. Kitchen available to eat in if needed. You could store your luggage if arrived before check in time which we found helpful.

We ordered a small room and it was very small, especially the bathroom. Larger people would find it difficult to use the shower.

The hotel was located in an excellent area and was easy to find. Check in was a smooth process and didn’t take long as it was automated. The room was also cozy and generally fine for a one night stay. The hotel was generally quiet as well.

We couldn’t find the control for the room temperature and the room did feel too hot a few times. We ended up opening the room’s door to get a breeze from the hallway.

The location makes this an excellent hostel. It's a walking distance to the central train station. There are restaurants and supermarkets closeby with one operating 24/7.

There is no cooking option in the kitchen, but there are microwaves to warm your food.

Great location and facilities. We were able to leave our bags in storage room. The kitchen was basic with only a fridge, coffee machine, microwave, sink and seating so no cooking but enough to get by. Room was a good size and self check in and out was easy to use

Things are automated, online or with a machine, which was easy and clear.

I felt a little worried about the luggage that I left in the luggage room before check-in and after check-out. There was a electric key lock system to prevent any random person from entering the luggage room, and there was also a security camera in the room, but still I felt a little anxious.

Great location, very convenient, walkable, easy access to the train and bus stations and also to the airport. Close to many tourist attractions in Oslo, and perfect for walking and public transportation. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. There are microwaves and boilers in the common areas but not in the rooms. Property is clean and it feels safe.

After Citybox Helsinki, we stayed at Citybox Oslo. But I can say that Helsinki was better. Yes, the rooms were still clean, but something was always missing.

The staff at Citybox Oslo were neither friendly nor helpful. We requested a crib, but despite being told they were all full and would be available tomorrow, they were completely unhelpful. The common areas, in our opinion, were not clean at all.

Location is absolutely perfect, walkable and convenient. Rooms are spacious and clean, and there are food options nearby and a cafe in the property.

Very good location close to central station. Easy access to trams and busses. Convenient services in common areas such as sitting areas, kitchen, TV.

Family room did not work well for two retired adult couples due to bunk bed and small floor space.
