The bed was incredibly comfortable.

The room was pretty small. I suspect this is due to my expectations as an American. The breakfast options and selections were also pretty abysmal.

Best valuse for money hotel in central Oslo. Walking distance from central train station, easy and fast self check-in/out. Great budget friendly and practical hotel for leisure or work stay. Highly recommended

The hotel referred nearby breakfast cafe offers rather poor value for money breakfast. the nearby other cafes have better choice and greater value/experience.

Good location close to train station and walkable to most sites. Situated on busy streets so some noise but nothing unexpected for city center. Very clean, efficient room (as usual with Citybox). Room was small (also usual) but fine as I travelled alone - liked that I could sit at small desk and look out window at street below). Check in and check out were efficient and staff were happy to provide extra towels when asked.

The bathroom sink (in my room at least) was tiny. Other than hand washing it was almost too small - washing face was difficult and splashed lot of water on floor.

It is very well located. The rooms and ensuite bathroom is very clean. It was mostly quiet (my room faced the interior yard). Pizzeria accessible through hotel lobby.

I stayed 4 days, but my room was not cleaned a single time. From time to time, I could hear a door being slammed shut. The door is not air-tight. Sometimes there was cold air from the corridor entering

The property is about a 5 minute walk from central station, and a couple of minutes from Oslo main shopping street There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby Didn’t see many staff There are vending machines for snacks and drinks , 2 on site cafes , and microwave oven Hotel was very secure Check in and check out was easy and quick If I ever come back to Oslo would definitely stay here again And a good price for Oslo

Very good price and location, rooms are essential but comfortable and clean. Automated check-in/checkout is quick.

Security: with no security, I've seen at least 3 people entering the hotel at night time (following clients with the access card). One of them (a clochard) followed us in the elevator, probably trying to find an empty room or a place to pass the night on the floor

Location was great, just a short walk from the Central Station.

Because it is self-check-in, we missed the welcoming smiles that we're accustomed to in each hotel we stayed!

Tiny and a little worn

CityBox is located close to the Central Oslo Station, Very Close to Oslo Opera House, Many Indian Restaurant Nearby, Just Rooms are tiny, but enuf space to open Suitcases. You need to find good breakfast outside the hotel.

No Breakfast - Attached Restaurant is expensive for BF. Rooms were tiny. Rest All is Good.

Very small rooms a bit worn

We really enjoyed our stay at Citybox Oslo. The 'self check-in' was very easy, the room was clean, modern and the beds were comfortable. Though breakfast wasn't included, it was conveniently located for cafés etc. The hotel is very centrally located, though not on a busy street so it was quiet, and very close to the centre of town, the train station, the port and tons of restaurants.

We were in a 'basic' Double, so it was a small room, but met our needs, the only problem was hanging space, and/or space for luggage. We were there for 4 nights, but we were in Norway for 3 weeks (touring around) So we had 1 full size bag and 2 carry on bags as well as shoulder bags, camera bags etc. The 'basic' room had very little hanging space and was not really big enough to lay out your bags, so clothing management was tricky. If you have more than a carry-on bag, or are there for more than a couple of days, I would suggest you book a slightly bigger room. It did not ruin the experience but it would have made it easier and more relaxing.

The hotel is located at the city center, it's very practical and offers very good value for money. It delivers what most people would like in a city trip, a smooth stay in a good location with most amenities being available.

If you are used to being welcomed by a receptionist for check-in, you should know that Citybox applies a fully automated process, which is very smooth but maybe not for everybody. We didn't have any issue with it, but mentioning it in case someone is not up for it.

Good hotel with great location, perfect for short stay.

The room was clean, well designed, warm and more spacious than other budget hotels. The beds were comfortable and it was lovely to have two pillows! Check-in and out and luggage storage was easy. Great, central location.

We would have liked a kettle and there were no cups for water. I think these may have been available on request but it wasn't clear and apart from at check-in we didn't see any staff to ask.

Very easy to check in on the kiosk. Rooms were on the small side but super clean. The restaurant Spor av Nord, which is next-door was amazing. Made it so easy to get great food after a long day of travel. Our family member had a balcony room which was fun.

We were traveling with a family member and asked for rooms close to each other. The rooms ended up being in totally different areas of the hotel which was not convenient.

Great location in the city center, with easy access to shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, and the price is very reasonable for the area. Good value for money!

Basic amenities were missing — no bottled water, glass, or facial tissues.

Location & room were Great . No Breakfast included but a restaurant is on site - if you want B/ L or Dinner . The concept of Citybox is “ Self Serve “! Everything worked well for me and there is someone on site if you have any issues - but not a traditional front reception staff.

Location is very good. Convenient as it is centrally located. Facilities was clean and staff were pleasant and helpful.

Very compact room which made it difficult to open 2 suitcases at one time. Otherwise, nothing else. Good value for money. The lack of TV or Fridge was easily compensated by the ground floor facilities

Great location close to the Central Train Station. Has a washing machine and dryer on site that you book and pay per use. Also has a luggage storage room.

Wall heater is not warming up, no TV, fridge, kettle and coffee provided in the room.

The location was right in the centre of town and perfect for sightseeing. The room (and bed) was clean and comfortable and one could get drinks and snacks from vending machines. The basic kitchen was very useful and we appreciated the discount on breakfast at the co-located cafe. Check-in and out were quick and efficient.

The water pressure in the shower could have been better but was adequate.

No frills, clean and decent place. Staff was friendly, although you may have find them.

Getting to one side of the bed was a little awkward, you need to shimmy between the window and the end of the bed.

The location was perfect! We loved everything about Citybox Oslo and highly recommend it! See you next time!

Very tight for space. Nowhere to store any thing. City box does what it says on tin. Not palace to hang out but if in Oslo for work will do a job.

Noisy room facing the street with trams. The hotel has a hostel feel with no staff present at check in
