the room was clean, and all complain or suggestion I want to make is bed light on every side of bed. There is nothing else to complain about. The check in and out was working excellent. We receive a kettle and hairdryer on request and the restaurant accessible from within work excellent and provide excellent breakfast

Information and maps availability in foyer as well as assistance in foyer at all times. All our questions were always well and friendly answered. The tram was also so conveniently located just outside the door

Toilet sink was for kids, shower curtain (glass) did not touch the floor, had a gap so the bathroom floor gets wet while showering (room 204)

Location provides access to all things needed. Food is available, attractions are nearby. Also the train station is very closely located.

Barely any staff around to check if in case one needs help.

Near the Oslo central station, groceries, shops, pharmacies. It’s self check-in, modern, clean. It has a common kitchen with basic equipment like bread toaster, fridge, microwave and a kettle. On the 1st floor, there are several places you could chill in. There are vendo machines and tv’s.

Got confused which elevator to take. There are 3 elevator groups designated to your room number (A,B,C)

Location was perfect, very central and tram stop is right below the hotel. Check in was smooth and fast, there are no people on reception - you check in yourself using the machines in the lobby. The same with check out - fast and self-service. Room was clean and cozy, warm with floor heating in the bathroom. Shared spaces are nice and modern, basic but there is everything you might need - a kettle, microwave, sink, some vending machines for snacks etc.

The room was very small. Maybe I didn't pay attention on the information about the size during booking, but I never stayed in room so small, less than half a meter from the bed to the wall on each side (really a box!). We (2 adults) were staying with our son who is 4 years old, so we were a bit squeezed . Also, there is no TV, no wardrobe, no nightstand with drawers, no luggage chair, so our suitcases were on the floor and crowded the place even more. There is one bulky heavy metal hanger mounted on the wall, which was really not safe for our son as the room was so small and he kept bumping into it with his head - it is right across the bathroom door. He also didn't have any room to play with his toys, all we could do was lay on the bed (nice family time to the fullest). The hairdryer wasn't working. We couldn't open the windows (locked). All these are minor inconveniences which made our stay a little more unpleasant and may be meaningful for some, but considering the price and location, good value for the money. If we ever come back we would book a suite or something bigger.

The sink was super small and there was no storage in the bathroom. And there was no TV in the room. Maybe it said so somewhere, but I'm just so used to it always being a TV in the hotel room

Great value and very close to train station. Clean and comfortable with kitchen facilities and tv downstairs. Adjoining bakery and pizza restaurant for hot food and drinks. Very modern self check in with notice that staff were available if needed.

Location is superb, the tram runs outside the front door and Oslo Central Station is less than five minutes away. The room was small but comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. Midday check out suited us ideally. Check in and out was seamless. I would stay here again.

Plates and cutlery were all disposable, actual plates, cups and cutlery would have been nicer.

The hotel is placed close to the central train station of Oslo. It is also close to the port. The public transportation between this station and the airport is excellent (via FlyToGet). The room is small and cute with own bathroom. The common kitchen on the first floor is well-equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, disposable cutlery, plates and glasses and vending machines. There are lots of restaurants around the hotel and the Joker grocery is on the next corner.

The floor seemed to be not so clean, although the plastic floor is hard to clean well.

Excellent location. Is an hotel for just sleeping. So cost value is excellent. Walking distance to sentrum.

Overall a great stay, this hotel has a good value for its price. It's comfortable, safe, modern, practical, clean. The location is very central, the 12/13/15 tram stop "Dronningens gate" is just outside the door literally which is very convenient to reach Aker Brygge in 10mn by tram, central train station is a 5min walk away which is very practical when arriving from the airport or when going to Bergen by train. Every point of interest in the city is easily accessible from the hotel: Oslo cathedral, Cathedral cafe (5mn), Opera, Munch museum (10mn), bus 30 is 5min away which is direct to the Royal palace, or Bygdoy, it stops just outside the Norsk Folkemuseum. Narvesen or 7 eleven stores are nearby, souvenir shop in the same street. The hotel is big, it takes one entire block, there are several entrances, the main entrance is clean, safe, you could arrive there by night, it would be safe. The hotel is self checkin with automated checkin screens, but the staff is always in their office if you have some inquiry. You can leave your luggage after checkout. The rooms are well sound proof, we were facing the street but didn't hear the traffic at all on the 5th, or 2nd floor. The single room has the perfect size for one person, it felt enough and not small. The twin rooms have huge windows floor to ceiling that have view on the street. The standard double rooms are good sized. All the rooms we had were good sized and didn't feel small. The heating was working in september which was great. At night there is no noise from the hallways or the other rooms even though the hotel was full, we got a good night sleep, the beds are great. The staff agreed to change one of our rooms because the roof was tilted and not practical at all, they were very understanding, and fast to proceed even though we asked them to change room very late at night, and the hotel was fully booked, they're very efficient. Checkout is at 12pm which is really practical.

There is no breakfast, however there are 2 partner restaurants to get breakfast just outside the door. I recommend the "Spor av Nord" which was the best, with great decor and cozy atmosphere, to get an atypical yet delicious buffet breakfast. If it wasn't for Citybox, I wouldn't have found this restaurant, yet it's so much better than any regular standard hotel buffet breakfast, it seemed very "norvegian". The other restaurant was not so good, expensive, yet very basic for breakfast. The lock of my room didn't lock from the inside, also the door of the bathroom kept banging if it was not hold, it was not fixed very well. The view outside my room was not great: a building in ruins. There is no tv. The checkin process was not smooth, the machine had an issue, someone from the staff had to come out to help me and issue me the key themselves. I was charged more than what Booking announced when I paid at the property and I never knew why as there was no detailed receipt, I paid about 40 euros more, not fair.

Lost 1 star (would have been 10/10) as that was the worst toilet paper in the room since I went to school 90s. Never felt the neee to comment on toilet paper before but it was that bad! Shower gel dispenser was empty on arrival.

As cheap as you can get in Oslo, yet reasonably comfortable.

Room neat and clean. Self check in on machine was new to me but easy. Location good. No TV.

Simple, Clean, brilliant location to bus and train station, as well as a 5 minute walk to the Opera House. The guest kitchen was great, as it meant if you wanted a cheap meal you could get something from the shop on the corner and eat it at the the hotel dining area. Super when you want to just save a bit of money as the place, as we know, is expensive.

I booked my friend and I months ago - 2 rooms - at same time. I had a beautiful corner room with 2 windows; she had a brick wall. Same price, same booking, two separate locations/different floors in building. Disappointing & a little inexplicable when clear from booking made by me that we were travelling together. .

Great location. The shared kitchen on the ground floor was really convenient — it had a kettle, microwave, fridge, and coffee machine. The room was simple but comfortable, with large mirrors both in the room and the bathroom, which I loved. There were plenty of sockets for charging devices, and the self-service check-in was smooth and easy.

Everything went smoothly, but if I had to mention something minor, it would be that the carpets in the corridors weren’t hoovered very well during the week I stayed there. The hotel is generally well maintained, though you can notice a bit of wear and tear in places.

Location of hotel was great, the room was small but comfortable and very clean. The bed was very comfortable as well. I only tried breakfast at Rent Mel and it was delicious.

It was a little pricey for what it was, but cheaper than a regular hotel in Oslo. Overall it was a good experience.
