Huge range of options for breakfast and had area set aside for gluten free options. Great location, behind central station where across the road option of catching trams or buses Triple glazed windows kept noise from street out top quality decor and bathroom fixtures and fittings.

Bathroom design was well thought of. First time to see a hanger for towel inside the shower room. I really loved this feature. Simple yet useful. Bed was comfortable and the view from my room was exceptional! There were slippers and bathrobes too! Location was excellent! Loved everything !

Great location being central and next to the train station. Breakfast very nice, but could have offered more fruit. Gym is excellent. Staff very friendly. We had some useful restaurant tips from reception.

Little not to like. Breakfast so busy that the staff struggled to cope at times. Expensive, but not out of line with other quality hotels in Oslo.

The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. On the day that we checked out we needed to leave before breakfast started, so they made us to go breakfasts. These were ready for us at the desk when we checked out.

We had a hard time navigating to the hotel using our GPS. There was also not anywhere to park to unload our bags before parking the car a block away. This meant lugging our bags all the way from the 6th floor of the parking garage to the front of the hotel and up the stairs. We also had to do the same thing when leaving. Most hotels of this quality and expense in the United States would have someone to assist you with your bags.

Excellent staff, the room was so quiet and dark at night perfect! Breakfast was exceptional.

We had a very delayed flight and arrived at 3am. We were met by a very welcoming night staff member and given great attention. The included breakfast was wonderful and the view from the table was very nice.

The location is excellent- a short walk from the central station. The property is in great condition and spotlessly clean. The historic nature of the hotel is also of interest. The staff were superb.

The room was very small- there was barely enough room for two people to open suitcases.

Every staff member I interacted with went beyond what might have been expected to assist me. You cannot beat the location, right next to central station and all the main transit lines. Gustav's! Gustav's! Gustav's! Amazing jazz in a great room.

The gym lacked "light" weights for lifting. The coffee service was a little uneven some days. The bed could have been a little more comfortable.

The hotel is perfectly located near the station. The building of course has an interesting history and the re-purposing into a hotel works really well with great décor and atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful, the rooms are nicely appointed and the breakfast is nicely presented and of good quality.

The room was classic witih high ceilings and very nice decor. The staff was excellent. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with the crowning glory being the fresh-squeezed orange juice!

Outside homeless people living outside hotel. The to go bag for breakfast was appreciated since we left very early, however wanted to note that the fruit (fresh) in the containers were spoiled.

The hotel is very centrally located, making it easy to explore the city and access public transportation. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast. The variety and quality of the food were incredible, offering a great start to the day. However, I did notice that some of the breakfast service staff were not as friendly as I would have hoped, which slightly detracted from the experience.

One notable issue was the room temperature control. The thermostat could only be adjusted within a range of ±3°C, which was quite unusual. During my stay, Oslo experienced unusually warm weather, and our room, which faced the sun, became too warm for comfort. This limited adjustment range made it difficult to achieve a comfortable temperature.

Attention to detail was excellent - from furnishings/decor to the thoughtful early bird breakfast inclusions at 3am! Staff were wonderful and very friendly.

My only criticism is that the room remained very bright at night as there were no coverings on the bathroom window and the bathroom door was clear. As we visited in summer, it was bright until almost midnight and then again around 4am. This made it difficult to sleep.

Option to get rooms with bathtubs if available woul have been nice. The wardrobe was a bit small so just don't plan on using a large wardrobe

This was our first time in Oslo and I would seek this place out the next time we're here. It's a beautiful space, from the exterior, to the entry, to the room. The bath is luxurious and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Our breakfasts were included and they are amazing. There is honestly anything you can want for breakfast. You can be as healthy or not as you choose. The location of the hotel is perfect. The trams are literally in front of the entrance. A lot of major bus route stops are either outside or just a block or two away. If you're taking the train from the airport, the entrance is also right across the square. We also used the well equipped fitness facility each day we were there. It had plenty of towels, easy to use lockers, and water. Absolutely loved staying here.

Location is superb: immediately opposite the central rail station, and close to the Opera House and Munch museum. The breakfast was excellent. The standard of accommodation is high - in particular the bathroom. All staff were friendly and enthusiastic.

The bedroom was a tad small for a 'delux' room. The wardrobe space was inadequate with only moderate 'hanging' space, and no drawers or places to store suitcases. We advise travelling light!

Excellent location. We arrived by train and it was just a short walk across the square from the station. Breakfast was great too. Appreciated my orange juice being topped up.

The breakfast was the best! There were many varieties and everything was perfectly made and tasty! The hotel location was excellent; it was very easy to navigate around. The bed was very comfortable, highly recommended for the first time visitors.
