Grand Bohemian Hotel, Orlando

Proximity to Kia Center, coffee on site (Starbucks). Clean mattress that looked new. Comfortable bed. Good space to work remotely. Front desk was friendly.

Value for the booking was totally not there. The bathroom in my room looked in serious need of a deep clean; it felt pretty gross and uncomfortable to shower there. Had to check out early due to flight issues and was disappointed they couldn’t do anything to help me recoup some of the lost night because I booked via booking (but ofc if I’d started by asking booking for support, they’d send me to the hotel). I was willing to take the loss anyway because once my concert was done it sunk in that there really isn’t much to do there so I was kinda desperate to leave. I thought I was booking something more upscale so was willing to pay the exorbitant amount for three nights but wow was it absolutely not worth it.

Facilities were top notch. Restaurant was excellent, as was the pool.

The noise outside & next door (filming a porn Onlyfans movie) Did not get a complete night's sleep during entire six nights - sirens/loud cars downtown.

I couldn’t sleep because people next room were been to loud, I call front desk and security came but they would just be quite for a bit and they would be back to been loud. The AC was not working property and pool and roof top was closed due to private event, I booked two rooms one for my husband and me and one for my kids, when I arrived I was informed that my rooms were not in the same floor, so my kids had to be in a different floor. At check out I was charged for two valet parking when I only had one car, but I was charged valet parking for both rooms I reserved.

Excellent location for the Doctor Phillips Center. Valet service excellent. Omar serviced very good breakfast cheerfully.

Too much air freshener. Also, there was no option for food after the show at Dr Phillips Center. Someone mentioned a maintenance problem. Also no room service available.

We our entire group didn’t enjoy was the price of your drinks!!! With a tip I paid 55.00 for two drinks. So our party of like 25 had one round there and left. Americans are having a tough enough time as it is with the economy don’t kill them at the bar, you want to keep them there.

As someone who travels and stays in luxury properties around the world for 100+ nights a year, this was by far one of the worst hotels I've ever slept in. I paid for a King Suite at the rate of over $600/night. The bedroom tv did not work. The phones were not answered by front desk and concierge to address the problem. There was construction which began at 7 am and did not stop until after 5. It was so loud that it sounded like the ceiling and walls were going collapse from moving water and constant banging/drilling. (If there were an option to upload a video with sound, I would.) The noise was so overpoweringly loud that I could not conduct any of the work calls or video conference meetings that were scheduled. When I spoke to the manager on duty, he was flippant and refused to acknowledge the failure by the property to alert customers BEFORE they lost their ability to cancel their reservation that the noise was much more than just "renovations," but rather complete demolition and the type of invasive construction that would impact the electrical systems, wireless and cable connections, and the guest's ability to sleep.

Television wasn't working. Front desk advised I would receive a credit to my bill. I still haven't received the credit and communication with hotel is slow to respond.

Wow! This place is gorgeous and not the typical ply-and-play hotel decor or attitude. It is stunning beautiful from the lobby to the bar to the bathrooms and bedrooms….even the hallways are stunning!! The staff were gracious, helpful and REAL, not faux friendly, but genuinely, deeply mannered people. We stay at a lot of places and this is TOPS! I would travel back JUST to stay there again!

Did not eat. Was disappointed the restaurant was closed and massive reconstruction to the pool area, but the service was superb. Valet parking was a premium, but the valets, concierges, bellpersons were top dollar and very courteous. We extended our stay one more night over the weekend at a reduced rate.

the hotel looks nice and is downtown near the convention center. very convenient.

1. the ice from the machine had dirt in it. 2. the restaurant was closed due to a wedding. the party flooded the lobby with people making it noisy and difficult to use the elevators. 3. the restaurant does not offer room service after 10 pm and restaurants in the area close between 10 and 11 pm. we came in from a concert at 10:30 and missed being able to eat a meal just about anywhere. 3. the ac in the room was not working properly. the room was warm by day and freezing at nice. we requested engineering or a fan and no one came and they did not send a fan. 4. upon checking out, four valets were standing at their podium watching a cellphone, one valet was checking in a woman who arrived. one valet was in my car behind the previous mentioned car waiting fir the other to move so he could bring my car in. I was loaded with bags and luggage standing there for 4 minutes before I spoke out loud about the valets moving the car so my car could come. the staff at this hotel has no sense of urgency or customer service. this hotel would be relegated to the 2 star class of hotel in a Miami where I live. sophisticated travelers do not put up with any of the aforementioned - we simply move on to another hotel. I have stayed at this hotel previously and was truly impressed by it and the amazingly good food in the full restaurant. due to renovations, they are now using the bar area as a restaurant and lugging food from a kitchen located behind the check in desk, around a corner, into the bar area. I wouldn’t be surprised if people are complaining about their food having to go on a journey to arrive at their table. my honest advice is to skip this hotel altogether. you will resent the misery you you will experience , one misstep after another, when you look at your Amex charges and realize you regretted the decision to stay here.

The noise for construction was seriously unpleasant. I dont understand how they wouldnt discount or let you know about the issues. I was only notified by a piece of construction paper on double doors by the elevator. I also got charged for valet parking and did not park my car there.

The fact that upon arrival we were not made aware of the remodeling going on. I was only told that pool and bar were closed, no elaboration on why. It was only until the next morning at 830am that I was awoken by a construction crew outside my window as we were placed directly outside the pool. It would’ve been nice to be made aware of this as I still had 2.5 hours before checkout, which I wasn’t able to relax or enjoy because the noise was unbearably loud. Could barely hear front desk on the phone as we called down for a bellman. Diring checkout was hoping to be met with some hospitality or accommodations and was met with a very dismissive front desk associate. It was as if it was our problem that we didn’t enjoy the early morning construction crew wake-up call, which to be clear we did not. I have stayed here plenty times before and have never had an experience like this because if we had I can assure we wouldn’t recommend or give our business to this hotel. very disappointing stay all around.

The only reason I didn't give a 10 was because the pool and poolside bar were closed. For the price we paid for this room I feel like the facilities should have all been in working order, especially in a hotel in Orlando.

The location was great, near a lot of restaurants, bars, and things to do. The bellboys and valet service were always polite and friendly.

I wasn’t warned until arrival that the rooftop pool, the fitness center, *and* the bar were all closed. There was no alternative for a fitness center during my stay, and the pool and bar alternative were really poor in comparison. We ordered a platter of macarons, truffles, and berries and were only given truffles and berries; we had to call to find out that they were out of macarons. The money we spent was not partially refunded nor were we given the option to change/cancel the order. Front desk service was poor and unhelpful. We asked for napkins for our meal and were given a small box of Kleenex tissues. We asked for a repairman for our broken room phone (already broken before our arrival) and the repairman came, affirmed it was broken, and didn’t fix it. We ordered food to be delivered, and somehow the delivery guy made it all the way up to our room without being stopped. He said the front desk staff were chatting away and didn’t notice him waiting to be attended, so he came up himself. Massive security risk. My best friend also had the hardest time when she tried to deliver a few gifts ahead of time. Whoever she spoke to on the phone was not very helpful and seemed unwilling to assist her in surprising me. Overall, so disappointing.

This is a great hotel, and although the pool was being renovated, and the lobby was as well, it did not detract from their service.

after checking in at 8 PM I had to wait for my luggage to arrive at least 20 minutes. The phone in my room wasn’t working even though I stated to Front Desk the problem was never fixed. upon my arrival I was told that the pool was being renovated and could not be used nowhere does it say this on the website nor my booking that’s very disappointing

We had a nightmare journey from Sweden to the USA with cancelled and re-routed flights. By the time we arrived in Florida, we really felt tired, hot and bothered and jetlagged. The minute we stepped into the hotel, it was an instant pleasure. We attended a conference in Orlando. By the looks of it, we picked the best hotel of all, in comparison to our colleagues. The location is in the middle of town. Great rooftop pool. Nice bar with great cocktails and live music. The Bar. menu and wine selection were great too. Rooms are of high quality. Great minibar content. I now actively look for autograph collection hotels in new cities that I intend to stay in. Such was a mental footprint of the stay here. The place looks as visually pleasing as the website photos indicate. Beds/bedding was heavens

The bathrooms felt a bit basic. I would have preferred a breakfast buffet, rather than a few items off a menu. Got frequent flyer points with Lufthansa for my stay. BUT, had to join the Bonvoy milage program to do so. A regular stay booked with booking.com doesn't automatically qualify you for points. Not the hotel's fault, but there are literally no convenience stores n Orlando. If you don't have a car or don't drive, it's hard to go shopping etc. We had to UBER it everywhere.

There were bugs flying around in the dining area which made my experience at breakfast, lunch and dinner somewhat uncomfortable.

Only had one continental breakfast by room service. Food was hot and brought promptly. Staff was polite. Bed was very comfortable. Room and bath were very clean. Hot water was immediate and water had great pressure. Room temperature control was accessible and efficient. Sadly, we didn't have an opportunity to utilize most of your amenities, such as spa or pool area due to work commitments, however we were very impressed with the available services.

It was difficult for us, being totally unfamiliar with downtown Orlando, to initially locate the entrance of the hotel!! Despite the very limited area for loading and unloading, the Valet Service employees were spot on with maintaining the flow of traffic and quick to bring our vehicle. They were very helpful with directions and recommendations.
