Grand Bohemian Hotel, Orlando

The restaurant was so-so.

It’s the second time I stay here, the location is good, the bar is convenient.

I was in 611 next to the gym, and it has a door super close, making it hard to sleep…

The decor. The piano. Though as a pianist it was frustrating not to be able to even touch it. Felt a little show-offy. The antithesis of music.

Having a pianist at that piano. And having a better chef would be nice. The aioli was watery and not good, and I know aioli. Also, the people tending to our table in the Bohemian were distracted and we had to wait and wait for things. They seemed unmotivated. But we survived, though the cooking and the service were much less classy than the setting. Disjunction.

The elevators worked. The room was clean.

Having been to the Grand Bohemian in Asheville, North Carolina, it was impossible not to compare. At the orlando hotel, I can’t even remember there being any good scent inside the lobby or any public area. The pool bar, which had been the primary reason I chose the hotel in order to relax, sitting in the sun and have a drink while my travel companion was in meetings during the day, was not open on a bright sunny day. Several times my key card malfunction in the elevator and I had to get back out and have them reset my card. Front desk folks just not that courteous.

Proximity to Kia Center, coffee on site (Starbucks). Clean mattress that looked new. Comfortable bed. Good space to work remotely. Front desk was friendly.

Value for the booking was totally not there. The bathroom in my room looked in serious need of a deep clean; it felt pretty gross and uncomfortable to shower there. Had to check out early due to flight issues and was disappointed they couldn’t do anything to help me recoup some of the lost night because I booked via booking (but ofc if I’d started by asking booking for support, they’d send me to the hotel). I was willing to take the loss anyway because once my concert was done it sunk in that there really isn’t much to do there so I was kinda desperate to leave. I thought I was booking something more upscale so was willing to pay the exorbitant amount for three nights but wow was it absolutely not worth it.

Facilities were top notch. Restaurant was excellent, as was the pool.

The noise outside & next door (filming a porn Onlyfans movie) Did not get a complete night's sleep during entire six nights - sirens/loud cars downtown.

I couldn’t sleep because people next room were been to loud, I call front desk and security came but they would just be quite for a bit and they would be back to been loud. The AC was not working property and pool and roof top was closed due to private event, I booked two rooms one for my husband and me and one for my kids, when I arrived I was informed that my rooms were not in the same floor, so my kids had to be in a different floor. At check out I was charged for two valet parking when I only had one car, but I was charged valet parking for both rooms I reserved.

We loved the location in downtown , very clean and the staff was friendly, close walk to everything, great lounge, we didn't get to try their restaurant but will definitely return for another stay.

Excellent location for the Doctor Phillips Center. Valet service excellent. Omar serviced very good breakfast cheerfully.

Too much air freshener. Also, there was no option for food after the show at Dr Phillips Center. Someone mentioned a maintenance problem. Also no room service available.

Rooms were lovely. We had a very nice city view. The security of the building was much appreciated, as was the valet parking. We had a drink after the show we attended and the bar was lively and fun.

Everything was great! The only part was not being able to enjoy the wonderful piano music. By the time the show at Dr. Phillips was over and we returned to the hotel, the piano music was closed.

The food was awesome!

Getting to the hotel, the roads were a mess as they had an event and twice they closed the main road so very hard for Uber to get us there.

The ambiance, service, and amenities were outstanding.

No information was provided- that I could find without asking questions- about amenities at the property, including room service, etc. Could possibly have been more enjoyable if I knew more about what was available. Desk would not answer calls from room phone so had to go to desk to ask questions.

We had dinner at the Boheme. The service was great, food was delicious, and the ambiance perfect after a long day of traveling.

The bell person did not take out luggage racks and put our suitcases on them.

We our entire group didn’t enjoy was the price of your drinks!!! With a tip I paid 55.00 for two drinks. So our party of like 25 had one round there and left. Americans are having a tough enough time as it is with the economy don’t kill them at the bar, you want to keep them there.

As someone who travels and stays in luxury properties around the world for 100+ nights a year, this was by far one of the worst hotels I've ever slept in. I paid for a King Suite at the rate of over $600/night. The bedroom tv did not work. The phones were not answered by front desk and concierge to address the problem. There was construction which began at 7 am and did not stop until after 5. It was so loud that it sounded like the ceiling and walls were going collapse from moving water and constant banging/drilling. (If there were an option to upload a video with sound, I would.) The noise was so overpoweringly loud that I could not conduct any of the work calls or video conference meetings that were scheduled. When I spoke to the manager on duty, he was flippant and refused to acknowledge the failure by the property to alert customers BEFORE they lost their ability to cancel their reservation that the noise was much more than just "renovations," but rather complete demolition and the type of invasive construction that would impact the electrical systems, wireless and cable connections, and the guest's ability to sleep.

Television wasn't working. Front desk advised I would receive a credit to my bill. I still haven't received the credit and communication with hotel is slow to respond.

The TV didn't work and wouldn't give me a new room. They also charged me for the room after I paid booking.com directly and they haven't refunded me.

Wow! This place is gorgeous and not the typical ply-and-play hotel decor or attitude. It is stunning beautiful from the lobby to the bar to the bathrooms and bedrooms….even the hallways are stunning!! The staff were gracious, helpful and REAL, not faux friendly, but genuinely, deeply mannered people. We stay at a lot of places and this is TOPS! I would travel back JUST to stay there again!

Was not told pool was closed and we came to hotel to relax and lay by the pool 2 days before our Jersey Mikes conference on Disney. Bummer

it was wonderful. they had construction going on but the staff and valet was awesome
