Le Windsor Jungle Art Hotel, Nice

Rooms were clean and everything was available. Beds very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. The location is super for exploring Nizza and surrounding, as not far from the train station.

Rooms are a bit old and showing signs. Might need to be refurbished or renovated. Carpet here and there not super clean. Very thin walls as well, meaning at night it can happen that people can be heard walking the stairs and coming back from dinner.

Without information given, it was not accessible on one day of my stay, because they had a conference in the same area.

We love this hotel and especially the garden rooms which escape the traffic noise. It is well located midway between the Station and the Sea, and close to buses and the metro to the airport. Staff are delightful.

We stayed on a personal recommendation from a family member who had stayed there previously. It was in a great location, close to the city, but not too noisy. Our room was large and well appointed with everything you might expect. We had dinner in the hotel, which was good value for money and the wine was not expensive. Breakfast was great and the staf throughout our stay were friendly and pleasant to deal with.

The bathroom in our room felt a little old fashioned and out dated, although everything worked as it should it was all looking a bit tired, including the towels, which were definitely at the end of their useful life cycle.

Sauna wasn’t working during our stay. The steam room cost extra. The outdoor pool was too cold to use. The fitness room was basic but adequate.

At the start of October while weather was in the low 20s the room aircon automatically switched to heating. Mosquitos at night but no insect screens on windows.
Synthetic-filled quilts and pillows. Bathtub bit short for average-tall adult.

Location is perfect for walking everywhere and yet quiet and peaceful.

Room was warm because it was the change of seasons so not possible to adjust AC but staff quickly brought portable cooling unit to our room.

The hotel is in a great location just outside the main busy tourist areas but has plenty of nice restaurants and bars nearby. The art themes around the hotel give a lovely interest to the hotel. We needed to change our booking and the hotel was very good about making changes.

I love the hotel location, it is in the heart of the city but in a residential area. Everything is close 5 to 10 minutes walk to the shops, restaurants, patisseries, train station and the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The garden and swimming pool are perfect !! Nice quality breakfast. I loved it and I will come back soon.

Superb location in the centre of Nice with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops close by. Short walk down to the promenade and pebble beach. Easy walk to Nice Ville train station. Our room with a Juliet balcony overlooked the jungle garden and was so quiet. Bed was really comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space. Spa bath (with shower as well) came with this premium room. We did not eat in the hotel so unable to comment on breakfast. Outside, the garden lives up to its name, a veritable jungle of trees, bamboo and plants. Little sun penetrates but so quiet and peaceful and plenty of seats. Nice heated swimming pool. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Just one minor issue, a lack of a grab rail in the spa bath.

The room and decor were really cheap and tired. The screen in the shower was too small so the bathroom floor got soaked every time. Our room had a ground floor terrace which sounded great until we realised that breakfast and drinks were served literally outside our room.

There was limited choice for evening meals so we did not have dinner at the hotel any night. We were surprised that we were not offered a glass of champagne or wine on the night of our 50th wedding anniversary as the staff were very good at congratulating us that day.

The hotel has real style and personality and a beautiful garden and very friendly staff. If you are looking for the typical four star experience from Hilton/other up-market chains then this is a bit different. But the garden and bar are hard to beat and I far prefer a unique experience and stylish room. Location is great with closest tram and beach five minutes away

I would love a Chromecast to connect my phone to the TV and the Internet in my room was real spotty, aka. I had to reconnect like 20 times during my three days. I wasn't there for work, so it was fine, if slightly inconvenient.

Excellent location, close to the beach, train station, old town, and restaurants. Breakfast was served outside in the garden, which was pleasant, and fresh fruits were available. The pool is small but lovely and cleaned every day. The staff is very friendly.

The room was smaller than expected, especially the very tiny bathroom. Only body wash was provided—no shampoo or hair conditioner. Breakfast was fresh but had the same limited selection every day, which became repetitive during a 7-day stay.

The breakfast in the garden was a daily highlight. The location was great and easy to walk to restaurants and the old town.

There was a lack of drawers in our room and we more or less lived out of our suitcases for the week, and we didn’t like the cartoons and photographs etc under our desk ,which were distracting .Finally there was no bedside provision on one bed for drinks ,face creams ,.ear plugs etc

Overall the hotel is in an excellent location - only about a 10 minute walk from the beach and 15 from the Nice old town, with extremely friendly staff and facilities in the hotel (such as the pool and the garden) which are beautiful to use and really enhance the stay. The breakfast was wonderfully prepared and fresh every day, well worth paying the extra if you can to enjoy it. Plus the lobby and bar are rather beautiful, with interesting pieces of art.

The actual room itself (while clean and comfortable) is quite basic and obviously well worn and used. I know the rooms are designed by different artists, so maybe we just had a room that hadn't been updated recently, but I wouldn't say it matched the 'four star' level that the rest of the hotel has. I recognise however this may be personal taste, and other rooms may be better!

Great location, near the beach, cafes, shops etc infact everything Nice has to offer. Lovely air conditioned room and double doors to a Juliet balcony which was a bonus as not mentioned in the advert. Beautiful “Jungle” garden, perfect setting for enjoying your breakfast.

Only downside was the very uncomfortable bed. But the staff did try to rectify it with a limited amount of success.

We’ve been here before and loved the location. The pool is refreshing after being out all day. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The food is fabulous, we had a delicious and stunningly presented dinner in the private garden.

Everything besides accident in the hotel gym was perfect. Nice jungle garden. Good breakfast (be there before 9 am) otherwise too busy. Good rooms and excellent staff

The equipment in gym was very old and faulty. Got hand injury because of gym equipment. Had to go to hostipal. Only got 30 Percent off the bar bill which was not much. After the accident they put out of order notice on the equipment.

This is a very nice hotel. The location is excellent, with 10 minutes walk to Vieux Nice and 5 minutes to the beaches. It has a beautiful green garden in the shade of a rubber tree, where they serve breakfast. The breakfast has lots of choice with high quality products. The rooms are spacious and quiet.

The rooms have air conditioning but it felt like the capacity was insufficient to fully cool the room. It did make a difference though.

It was an amazing little oasis of calm right in the centre of Nice. The terrace and pool were lovely.

Nothing really. We weren't very keen on the decor of our room, based on the work of some artist, but the room was quite large and comfortable.
