Great location, near the beach, cafes, shops etc infact everything Nice has to offer. Lovely air conditioned room and double doors to a Juliet balcony which was a bonus as not mentioned in the advert. Beautiful “Jungle” garden, perfect setting for enjoying your breakfast.

Only downside was the very uncomfortable bed. But the staff did try to rectify it with a limited amount of success.

We’ve been here before and loved the location. The pool is refreshing after being out all day. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The food is fabulous, we had a delicious and stunningly presented dinner in the private garden.

I loved the quirky style of this hotel. The location was great, quiet but also close to everything. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything besides accident in the hotel gym was perfect. Nice jungle garden. Good breakfast (be there before 9 am) otherwise too busy. Good rooms and excellent staff

The equipment in gym was very old and faulty. Got hand injury because of gym equipment. Had to go to hostipal. Only got 30 Percent off the bar bill which was not much. After the accident they put out of order notice on the equipment.

This is a very nice hotel. The location is excellent, with 10 minutes walk to Vieux Nice and 5 minutes to the beaches. It has a beautiful green garden in the shade of a rubber tree, where they serve breakfast. The breakfast has lots of choice with high quality products. The rooms are spacious and quiet.

The rooms have air conditioning but it felt like the capacity was insufficient to fully cool the room. It did make a difference though.

A wonderful hotel with an amazing history – a perfect place for anyone who appreciates unique and characterful spots. We felt very relaxed and at ease during our stay. The surrounding nature and art created a very positive vibe. Definitely a hotel with soul! Wonderful breakfast in the garden surrounded by birdsong. Great location – just a few minutes' walk to the sea. Beautiful and very safe. The small pool was also great – very charming and full of atmosphere. SUper friendly stuff

It was an amazing little oasis of calm right in the centre of Nice. The terrace and pool were lovely.

Nothing really. We weren't very keen on the decor of our room, based on the work of some artist, but the room was quite large and comfortable.

The location is great close to the centre, comfortable rooms and pleasant day staff

Only stayed for 2 nights so only a short impression but being unable to enter the hotel for sometime because the night manager was absent / sleeping with another couple having waiting much longer then us to enter, not the best experience

The staff were both friendly and helpful. I do think it was reasonably priced given its terrific location.

The fitness center was terribly not. Felt more like an attic

Large, clean and well designed rooms. The grounds, including courtyard and pool are very lovely, and the restaurant food and wine was fantastic.

Honestly nothing - everything was great

The staff were very kind and helpful! The breakfast and patio area was so beautiful and it helped during the hot week in Europe to wind down and relax.

The room was very muggy and hot. The AC didn’t work great. However, the value and price for the hotel outweighed this issue!

The location was excellent, and the pool was a little oasis in the middle of the city. The restaurant by the pool was lovely but the actual food was excellent! Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Nice to try, even if not staying at the hotel.

Our room was spacious and had a lovely balcony over looking the pool, however it smelt of damp. It was handy having a fridge but it looked out of place, plonked in the room and was probably moved from somewhere else in the hotel. The overhead shower didn’t work but the hand held one was fine, the shower curtain had some rings missing and just needed replacing as did the room carpet. Would be better if it was tiled as the weather would mainly be a warm I’m sure in Nice.

The location is very close to the sea and the city center. An artist decorates every room, so it depends on which room you get, but in general, there are unique rooms.

The swimming pool is only open until 6 p.m., which means you cannot enjoy it in the evening. The bar is nice, but the cocktails are disappointing. And there is no coffee machine in the room.

We thought the staff could have been better trained to deal with breakfast, food and juice needed to be replenished although they were very nice.

Room is spacious , breakfast is ok. Pls add it in your stay . Room is silent and is in heart of city.

Lift is not working half the time , hotel can be maintained , it is run down in some areas . Breakfast is typical middle class , they need to add omelette or any thing hot . No chef how can u serve 40 pax and run to buy bread.

Very nice hotel with a beautiful garden and a pool. Rooms are individually and uniquely decorated, very comfortable and clean. There is a a good restaurant in the hotel. Very nice staff. Good location in the center and quite near to the train station.

Again the room was not what I had booked, but it was in the same category. Looks that it is better to call beforehand if one prefers a specific room.

We like everything about this hotel. The staff are always helpful from restaurant recommendations to helping with a SIM card installment. We have been returning since 1980 so they must be doing something right.

Great hotel, superb staff. Absolutely lovely garden, dominated by huge shading rubber tree, with pool. We paid extra for the sauna use, which was fine. Evening meals not served every day but wonderful restaurants with local area. We stand twice there with the same Nice holiday (either side of a wedding in the foothills of the Alps).

Fantastic quirky boutique hotel in great location! Rooms were very spacious which was very helpful with large suitcases. Staff were very welcoming. 10 min walk to Nice train station which was great for getting train to Monaco.

Female receptionist who checked us in extremely helpful. One gentleman receptionist could be a bit brusque. We didn’t want breakfast in the hotel - just a cappuccino - we were told to get one from the machine - charged EUR5 each

Slightly outdated decor, plus... Weird that you have to boil your own eggs! The bathroom was slightly too small.

Great location just outside the old town, in a quiet street, walking distance from the waterfront. Very spacious, light, high-ceiling rooms. Parking (book ahead). Cute artsy interior. Very helpful staff.

Location and ambience of the hotel. Large comfortable bedroom with plenty of storage/ hanging and a huge triangular whirlpool bath. Lovely view over the garden.

Breakfast was ok but the evening meal was uninspiring. There were absolutely NO vegetables other than boiled potatoes and no green vegetables on offer. The meats and fish were well prepared but 5 a day... forget it!! The sweets were even more uninspired. Cordon bleu it was not.

Characterful building, lovely staff

Hotel Windsor is a very personal and familiar place to stay and with great style and comfort. It is a great location, close to tram stop to/from airport, SNCF station, seafront and main part of the city. The streets around are lively but remain quiet and away from the main tourist areas. The rooms overlooking the garden have a nice balcony with a view of the "jungle". Rooms are spacious and well presented. First stayed around 10 years ago and nice to be back.

Main room and bathroom are nicely set out. Some aspects need a refresh such as the bedside cabinets and some decoration in the toilet, which is perfectly functional but rather basic.

The room size, the bed was great. Incredibly clean, all of the staff were lovely. We also booked a massage in the hotel. One of the best I have ever had. Really easy to get to the beach & restaurants. Breakfast was really good especially for solo travellers as they don’t clear your table away if you let them know where you are sitting.

This is being really picky but the bath tub has digs in it not sure how they could have been made. The other issue is sound proofing. My friend had the room above me I could hear her toilet flushing. I also heard the couple next door having sex and then him vomiting a lot.

the garden was not as pictured, not so clean and smaller - the pool is disconnected and you can barely see it you need to book all spa elements in advance (keep this in mind while you're booking to plan ahead) Room was clean and nice but the decoration is nothing like the pictures- and the view was in the end of the garden, so i barely could see it from my room.
