large room, perfect for a family of 4

Access to the main entrance of the hotel (difficult to stop/park to drop luggage)

The location was great, room was a good size.

No way to co tell the temperature in the room and it got very hot. The room was also dark.

Great location, closed to many cafes, bars, restaurants and shops (Whole Food on the Broadway). The subway is just few minutes away, which is very convenient when visiting the city. The hotel is very closed to pier 16 (trip to the Liberty Statue) and 17 (delicious restaurants and cafes). The room was spacious enough for 7 days and very clean. The bathroom and especially the shower was very roomy. The 2 beds were comfortable, but the size was a bit tight for two.

The bed could have been a bit bigger (if you travel with kids and would like to book a single room), and you could definitely hear the neighbours if they are noisy.

We would have preferred a wardrobe with doors and more hangers. (We stayed for 7 days an had special clothes for a wedding ceremony.)The fridge wasn’t cold and empty. We would have liked water, juice etc in the fridge. A kettle + tea /coffee should be included for the price we paid.

Big room

When I called the guest service to borrow an umbrella for just an hour on a raining day, I was told to get one from the reception. When I got to the reception, I was told the guest service was wrong, there was no umbrella to borrow. I had to buy one from the pharmacy across the street for $ 13.99 plus tax, so around $15 total and we only used it for 2 hours when we went to breakfast. Btw, the breakfast was not very good, not worth to pay for $38 for it at all. That is why I only tried for one breakfast.

Rooms are large for NYC

It's falling apart. I got a two inch splinter in my foot because the floor is just dissolving with age. The thermostat system is ancient, the "blackout blinds" are not so.

The rooms were absolutely beautiful. The food was great. The drinks were amazing. Staff was very pleasant.

It was fairly hot in our room Even after cutting on the AC it took about a day or two to cool down. At one point, the sink water was coming out brown for about an hour on Saturday morning Our Jacuzzi bathtub we didn’t use because it was dirty

Staff super accommodating and friendly. Big spacious rooms, modern bathrooms. Restaurant food was good and moderately priced. Open and spacious lobby area. Great location. Super close to all locations including Wall Street train station - 3 minute walk. Duane Reed/Walgreens, Starbucks right across the street, as well as multiple fast casual eateries.

We were in one of the pricier rooms—the Premier King. I would rate this as a nice stay with very nicely designed rooms that seem luxurious but some of the details aren’t there and I don’t know if I’d stay again when for a bit higher price I could get something nicer. For example, higher quality towels and some furniture needed sprucing up and was worn or chipped. In the premier king room there was a clear shower door that shows the person showering from any side of the room including through a full length mirror placed directly in front of the door. Major design flaw - even for couples sometimes privacy is needed. Also weird when the toilet door and bathtub windows had frosted glass.

This property is well positioned as it allows for easy walking of the business area and waterfront of NYC.

No porter (baggage handler) was available to help with our luggage both at time of our arrival and on departure.

Room was sizeable and ample for 3 adults. Situated in Wall Street which was an ideal location to reach all parts of New York. Room service came in every day.

Centric and close to subway station, clean and stylish rooms, nice bar and gym, spa massages were fantastic.

Not helpful in ordering a taxi which is difficult with the Cube App available in the hotel if you don‘t have a US phone number. I did it the ‚old‘ way by catching a taxi on the street. Also cleaning staff did not know that we were granted a late check out.

The shower room has a transparent glass door in our room so there is no privacy shower or bath. There is no napkin paper in the room. The lighting is quite dim.

No kettle or coffee machine as on website. Bathroom should have done with some work on the part you go into the shower on the floor

A lot of noise from the neighboring rooms. The acoustics in the room are not good, you can hearing people talking.

The first person at front desk had a bad attitude when I asked for possibility of early check in . We arrived to NYC after a long overnight flight from bogota colombia and were tired and wanting to take a shower . So we went to the bathroom to clean up a little bit and change clothes and they send like 3 different staff members to check on us as if we were homeless which made us feel very uncomfortable. So I went back to front desk and complaint and another staff james treated us nicely and gave us an upgrade room and let us checked in at 10 am . He made us changed the first bad impression of the first front desk male staff . He made the difference and we are very grateful of James ( he’s the tall latin guy)

Excellent location. Very clean and affordable as compared to many other hotels we had been in NYC before

Construction was awful, not the hotels fault but they Jack hammered all night impossible to sleep!

No complimentary water in the room. Could use more toiletries such as shower gel.

spartan interior, furnishings minimal, no water unless you ask for it. Fitness Center old equipment, No Air Conditioning (85F when I worked out), very basic, and very few equipment choices.
