Okay location but not ideal for the tourist attractions. Staff were great in person but I had a query before arrival and could never get a hold of anyone over the phone or on the online chat. Fantastic price made it worth it.

Excellent location, handy for subway and many attractions….rooms a little small but very clean and tidy. Would stay again 👍

The rooms were relatively old and very small. Thus, I had some issues with my first room were the window was not closing and the noise was very uncomfortable. The mattress in my opinion should be changed as its was kind of uneven.

Amazing value for travelers who spend a lot of time exploring the city and less time sitting at the hotel. The location was perfect, we were able to access several metro stations or walk down a scenic avenue to reach our destination. The room was small but very clean and decorated nicely, for a short trip it was great. When we wanted to lounge at the hotel, the second floor common area was available and cute restaurants attached. The TV was nice for those few instances when we did want to relax in the room. The staff were really helpful and allowed us to store our bags with them before and after check out.

Bathroom was bordering too small, there was very little space to set anything down when getting ready. The door to the bathroom was a sliding pocket door which did not stay shut, so we opted to use the lobby bathroom instead on a few instances for more privacy. One of the elevators was broken when we visited, so around check-in times it was very busy. We found ourselves waiting with many other guests to use the elevator.

Room was well thought out and comfortable. It was clean. Liked that the windows let in fresh air. The shower was nice with beautiful tile work done well and the waterfall shower. Water heat and pressure was good too. Towels clean and lofty. The room was an efficient space, all around. Bed was comfortable and linens and pillows good quality. Decor was uplifting and of artistic design, clever. All needs met in the room and bathroom. It was a good space for two of us. The elevators ran very well. We never had to wait, even with all of the activity in the hotel. We had an event to attend, but we wish we could have eaten in the restaurant, Comodo; it was inviting. The hotel had a nice vibe. A little sixties like. The staff was attentive, accommodating, and they were well staffed.

Nothing that you can change really, but I think I expected a little more space in the room. I couldn’t wash my face in the sink due to design; better to just take a shower to wash my face. Still, it was a clean and attractive bathroom. All needs met there. Note that there’s probably always a line in the cafe. Don’t know really, but it was packed when we looked in and changed our minds due wait. So was the gallery and sitting areas. These aren’t bad things but just to be aware for ease of access or needs. I didn’t mind all of the company and activity. It’s great for the hotel, but we found it necessary to navigate a little.

Bathroom should have option for brighter lights.

The rooms are quite small. I was traveling alone, so this was fine. I would not go there if I needed to stay in the room with anyone else. Also, there are several basic amenities that just weren’t there. There wasn’t even a glass in the room. It was no closet, no drawers only a set of hooks to hang up clothes.

The hotel is located close to the UN HQ and the city center. The room was ok but tiny (TINY), ok for a 3 days work trip, definitely not if I would have been visit NY for a longer time as there was barely enough space to open my carry on! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, Brandon at the desk was super nice and the big guy outside of the hotel never failed to catch me a cab and check on the driver before letting me get inside. Overall it was a good experience. The surrounding are are safe and well served, Starbucks is in front and there is a Bubba tea place just a block up so so good, subway close by and safe to walk back in the evening. Overall I would go back as a solo travel for a short work trip (or upgrade to a larger room if more than 1).

Dust under the bed - the hotel is clean overall but not spotless

The room was not clean when I arrived, I found shoes in the room from the last guest, the shower and toilet were not clean, the bottle of water in the fridge was open.

Really nice building and room - the room had big and very comfortable bed (if you like soft beds), and there was everything we needed (we were also given kettle on request and water too).

The AC sometimes smelled with some food from kitchen or something else (we were on 16th floor).

Didn't like the fabric shower curtain. Staff weren't particularly friendly or helpful. Very noisy with lots of banging, particularly in the morning. Our room was next to a room named 'private' - assumed this was for staff and cleaners - from early morning there was banging of this door - no attempt to shut it without it slamming. The blinds were okay but the one next to the bed was slightly broken and let a lot of light in. These things combined meant that it was not possible to sleep in past 8-8.30am.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we were not bothered by any street noise. The location is perfect.

The room was microscopically small. They failed to provide some basic necessities such as a cup in the bathroom for brushing your teeth or a box of tissues. The doors at the front entrance are very heavy and difficult to open, especially when you have luggage; the hotel ought to provide a staff person to open the doors or install doors that open automatically. Without those features, I'm not sure they comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The room was small but it had everything we needed. Staff was friendly and they were able to keep our bags all day after we checked out until we caught our plane in the evening. The hotel looks good, it's not modern but quite charming.

There's a constant noise from air conditioning machines or vents of some kind if you have a room not facing the street. I assume that you'd be affected by traffic noise if the room faced the street anyway, so not sure there's a good option here. In any case, bring ear plugs and that should solve it if you're just looking for a place to rest at night but you actually spend most of the day out. If you want a place to stay, relax in your room and so on, maybe not the best choice. Aside from that, considering that I found a really good offer through Booking, not much to complain about. It's a simple small room but the decor is nice, and it was quite clean, with daily housekeeping and change of towels.

The private room size was nice and the bed was comfortable. The hotel itself is chic and I think the rooftop bar would be a vibe if the weather was better. Amazing bagel shop around the corner.

Our room was freezing cold for our entire stay - they provided extra blankets and attempted to fix the heat and by the day we left it was finally warm. There was an event going on at the hotel and the bouncer was extremely rude to us as we tried to simply enter the hotel to go to our rooms. It felt very hostile.

The room was very simple, had the basic things needed. Instead of an iron, there was a steamer for my clothes which I LOVED (it's the little things). There were plenty of hooks to hang clothes, bathroom had a stand-up shower with great water pressure. Plenty of seating for a single room. I would recommend this to solo travelers since it's also near a subway station.

Having to climb over the bed to close the blinds since there was no space to walk around. Elevators were small, so be mindful if you are looking for accessibility or don't like cramped spaces.

Twice during my stay I was awoken by the plumbing when the room next door took a shower. No coffee making facilities or even water in the room. Elevator was out of service. 3 bars nearly always closed or unavailable

The hotel is designed very tastefully. The rooms are simple but cozy, and have everything you could need or want in a hotel room. The bars are great places to hang out (and very convenient). Reception staff was very helpful at all times (water bottles, recommendations, luggage storage).

Cleaning staff could have been more thorough. My "Do Not Disturb" sign was on my door until late morning and my room was not cleaned even though cleaning staff was still working on my floor. Other hotels I've stayed at have done a final check to see if any "Do Not Disturb" signs have been removed since they first passed. Not a big deal, I would say it's the only negative aspect about my entire stay.
