A safe place to stay when I have business at Columbia University. It is one block away.
I liked the fact that there was maid service daily. A number of hotels don't do that. They say, let us know if you need fresh towels, etc. But the Edge offered full maid service.
The rooms are very small. The bathroom is modern and functional, but because of the small size, the door takes up needed space. The door only allows for one door to remain open. It would be better if both doors could remain open when using it.

Lovely
I liked that the room and hotel was clean. I liked the location for what I was in town for, I walked there. It also had a Starbucks, McDonald’s and Taco Bell close by. The employees sealed the deal. Everyone was exceptionally nice and welcoming! No favor turned down, no frowns. It was smiles across the board. They were fantastic.
The only thing I didn’t care for was it was smaller than what I’m used to. But I will take a smaller room that was clean AND has excellent employees. The front desk staff was too legit to quit. They were beyond excellent.

If you need a place to stay over night before your surgery at Columbia, this is a good place to stay.
If you need to go to Columbia Hospital, it’s really close!
The room was very small, which probably because it’s in NYC.

Great location for a house hunting trip.
Room was spacious by New York standards, really for any hotel room it was good. Bathroom was nice. We had a room with a city view which was nice. Made use of the conference room for some work and meals.

Would have liked breakfast, didn't have to be much--muffins, yogurt, toast, cereal etc. Nice not to have to go out each day.

The hotel was convenient to the hospital and they have a special rate for patients.

The doors to the bathroom are a little awkward. The How to turn on and off lighting is hard to figure out at first.

It's a convenient and clean hotel near my son's apartment.
Check in and check out. Downstairs area with computers and room to eat in. Friendly staff.
Heating controls hard to regulate. Rooms are small.

It was good! Gym was perfect for me. Great size. The "living room" area at C floor was great! The microwave was very helpfull. Every was very clean and nice.
I was expecting the little 2 waters every day, LOL. I heard noises at night. I thought that someone was opening my door and got scared every night,

Short and pleasant.
The room was very clean! The bathroom was surprisingly modern. I especially liked the set of shower necessities. I would have taken them home with me if I had room in my toiletry bag.
The lack of soundproofing. I could hear the guests in the room next (?) to me through the walls. Also, there is no way to modify the thermostat; I ended up turning it off because it was so warm and stuffy in the room.

Good basic stay
Beds, pillows and towels were the very best quality. Loved, loved them. Room very small but overall comfortable.
No parking at or near the hotel. No porter assistance even though the room rates suggest both would be available.
