Good location and it’s clean, but nothing more than that. Thank god we booked it on sale, at full price I would have been very upset

Tiny rooms that look like a motel with nice bath products. Tiny bathroom. Nothing luxury about the room. Paper thin walls so we could hear our next door neighbours flushing their toilet.

A beautiful property in a prime location. I booked a night here for my parents when our reservation at The Broome fell through, and since I live nearby, 11 Howard was the obvious choice. There’s a reason it’s the go-to spot for those in the know— it’s chic, impeccably designed, and perfectly situated, with destinations like Le Coucou and The Blond right inside. But what truly sets it apart is the staff. Cory is exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure my parents — including my mother who is undergoing chemotherapy — were comfortable and cared for. My parents were impressed and comfortable, and I felt completely at ease and safe leaving them in his hands. Thank you Cory for your kind attention, we are so grateful for you!

Staff is the best part

Hotel is very worn in. Room was small and dark.

The mirror was positioned directly beside the bed so you couldn’t use it. The lighting was horrible. The walls were so thin that every night our Neighbour’s woke us up and or it felt like we were in the room with them when they were talking.

Good location.

Man at front desk was terrible to me on check in. Refused to check me in for no reason. Got up and walked away and didn’t return. The rest of the staff were friendly. Could not turn down room temp, something was wrong with the thermostat in my room. Also, carpets in the hallway are some of the dirtiest I have seen in any hotel.

The noise! You can hear everything that is happening on the floor and in the next room, my bed was literally moving when people in the other room were moving on their bed!!! So crazy, the view was also disturbingly terrible. Definitely not the 5 star experience, far from that. Also someone randomly called me at 2:30 am on a hotel's phone number, how wild is that

Comfortable room and modern bathroom.

Cleanliness was quite poor and room very dusty. Amenities provided did not meet regular 5 star criteria. Felt more like a 4 star hotel. Some staff were friendly but some quite abrasive.

Hallways were too dark. I felt like they were hiding something in the darkness. The lobby was very underwhelming

Properly not kept well. Paint chipping off , hair on the table , mirrors wasn’t as clean, and plastic cups in the bathroom ?! Wow

Ac wasn’t properly installed in the room and the safety box didn’t work.

The people that work there are wonderful. The beds are comfortable. I felt safe. Free bottles of water!

Dog barked one entire night and kept us awake. We were compensated. That was thoughtful. Not enough electrical outlets in the room. Something in the room next to ours was banging on the wall for hours at night. Room was very small and hard to get around in but the cost was very high.

Fantastic location, beautiful design, very comfortable bed and pillows, super clean

Plastic cups and tiny plastic bottles of body wash etc - not very conscious of environment. Zero sense of hospitality - had to ask for bottled water at front desk, no slippers, kettle, coffee or tea options. For over $900 AU per night it felt no frills other than the room itself - which was very nice.

Air vents in room very old and dusty - felt unhygienic. Also all upholstery covered in marks from heavy use which also felt unsanitary. Would have liked pillow options

Great location. Comfortable bed and very soft sheets. Nice shower. 2nd floor lounge was convenient to gather. Nice welcome staff.

Main lobby wasnt very large. Wanted coffee maker in the room - no decaf available. Our kids were in a double bedroom and it was very small.

Staff didn’t help with luggage when we checked in and checked out. Cleaning staff keeps knocking on the door at 8-9Am everyday for clean up while we are getting ready to go out. Room is very small and we keep tripping on the angle edge of the bed with our legs.

very clean. the location is super convenient.

there is no way to open the window, at all. so, even if the weather is fine outside, air conditioning is all you have. sadly, at night sometimes there was not enough fresh air, because the room is super compact. and this also means that you will return to the room only to take a shower and go to bed.

It was a nice building, interior was very modern and clean. Location is great if you want a lot of shopping and eating out in nearby neighborhoods.

I had to wait more than 30 minutes for breakfast and decided to go to a cafe outside. Need to improve breakfast in hotel - seemed to lack staff.
