An superb stay in an excellent hotel.
Beautiful property in an excellent location. Room was super clean & fresh. Staff were friendly & helpful. Restaurant/Bar was superb. Loved everything about our stay here & would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Excellent location in a hotel with a young hip NY vibe
Thought the Hotel had a great vibe. It was a great location near to the subway and excellent shopping.
The room was quite small but that is typical of Manhattan. There were not enough plugs in the room.

Easy, comfortable, and chic.
I liked the service, room, location, bed, and pillows. The decor was perfect--could use a coffee machine :)

Great hotel in a great location.
Location and staff are fantastic.
Was a party in a room next door to us on one night which was really loud and kept us awake. We should have called reception and I’m sure they would have sorted it. Need to sort the pillows out - they’re not good - flat as pancakes.

Generally ok, room for improvement
The location is good and the staff was nice and welcoming. However, when it comes to five stars hotels, expectations are obviously high (and so it should be).
Unfortunately our experience was not that perfect. We had to wait approximately 1 hour to get our room, even though we arrived in the afternoon: not the best welcome, especially after a long journey.
The room was quite tiny for three guests, one window (with few drafts covered by black tape) and we also had to ask twice to get enough towels for all of us.
In conclusion, our stay at 11 Howard was generally ok but “The Devil is in the details” and they do make the difference.

People who worked at the front desk were jerks, very rude, unhelpful, and unfriendly. The parking sucked, garage recommended to us gave us no discount with validating, $100 bucks to park overnight.

Never coming back
Std is extremely unorganized. Double charged me. Had my family extremely confused and to top it off extremely rude. The only thing the hotel has going for itself is the location, you guys should be embarrassed. Really dismissive staff
