Great location, great food. Drinking water taps in the room. The views were stunning. Super convenient to use the ferry.

Only minor things e.g the towel rail would bang if i pulled the towel off too fast. The second room we were in had less individual lighting. But none of this impacted our enjoyment.

Nice location and interior, comfortable beds.

Big holes between window and wall made a lot of noise and wind in the night. One day I stayed without cold water in the shower.

Questionable cleanse, small rooms, for 5 people with notice we are comming with 3 kids configuration of the rooms wasn’t applicable. Staff very nice kind professional.

Fantastic hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and hospitable, great room with sunny view of Brooklyn bridge. Hotel lobby and amenities were exceptional. I look forward to making this a regular stay!

Rooms were small and the bathroom setup was odd for a family.

The view from the room was amazing! floor to ceiling window of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline, it was so good we kept the curtains open at night! OK this hotel is very modern, weird and quirky colours and textures throughout the room but the room was large enough and the layout was excellent. The shower pressure was excellent and loads of sockets for our gadgets. The atmosphere in the lobby was very casual, staff are not dressed in a uniform which actually added to the quirkiness of the hotel. It could not be closer to the buzz of DUMBO pier to commute by ferry over to Manhattan.

It is New York so prices are steep, the rooftop bar was lovely but the cost of drinks was very steep but it didn't seem to deter customers as it was very busy with lack of seating.

They charge €46 dollars a day amenities charge at the end of your stay which is not published on booking or arrival at the hotel which is very poor and distasteful. Pretty much all of the things within the amenities charge are things you expect to be covered in the expensive cost of the room or things you don’t use anyway Staff in the restaurant were poor, didn’t acknowledge us for at least 15 minutes on arrival and then spent most their time chatting to other staff rather than focusing on their customers

Location is the best I have experienced after many years of travel. Brooklyn has had a new facelift with a ferry service to match. Local food stalls were way above expectations get a full breakfast for 18$ ignore breakfast at hotel for 50$.

Elevator keys were not working, many guests complained. Expensive for food and drinks, we had ou food and drinks at various places in the city, the ferry across is very cheap.

Room was good - small but on expectation as that's in the description so no cpmplaints. Room amenities fine. Views are the hotel's USP IF you can get to enjoy them, which isn't necessarily the case if you are a paying guest. Location is excellent and the area is hip and cool AND has a Soho House (Dumbo House) 600 metres away which is exceptional. The restaurant (Osprey) is great as is the cafe/breakfast place. Charming girl on reception - consistently charming - which was nice.

For the money it's a tad style over substance - they get wrong what Soho House (and they ARE trying to replicate the vibe) get so right. As with so many places in NYC the pool area and outdoor rooftop terrace and restaurant spaces are the main money spinners for them (all views based which are stunning), and so they are open to the public and it's a total bunfight to get space (we couldn't despite trying to reserve 7 months prior to arriving). The pool area at the weekend was simply laughable - sardines would have jumped out of the tin. We decamped to Soho House down the road which was bliss - which I realise not everyone can do. In truth it smacked a bit of a private equity backed model that milks its assets at the paying guests expense. I would however add, as is so often the case, that the staff - the soldiers on the ground - were really good. So management - STOP opening it all up to the public - keep it for guests and give them room to breathe. They are paying handsomely at over £1000 per night.

The hotel was loud at night. The rooms are very thin so we heard everything from our neighbor's room, their music woke us up in the middle of the night.

Hotel itself is amazing, views from roof top bar is stunning. The room is really well set out, quite spacious for New York and really functional. The lobby space is well decorated with comfy couches and charging areas.

Service was not as great as you would expect for the price. Most of the staff were lovely. However, when approaching the front desk service was very slow. Did not get the impression that they would go above and beyond as many other premium hotels would. Requested late check out the night before, staff went into the back office to ask and we were told they were unable to confirm and that we would need to return tomorrow and ask again which seemed odd. Asked the next day and they were only able to give us an extra 30 minutes which is understandable as it was a Saturday so I’m assuming they were busy. Also something to note, we were on the 6th floor and could hear traffic sounds, nothing some white noise can’t cover though.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the location is both convenient and beautiful.

Everything except a very poor hostess up in the pool bar. Not helpful at all. I only asked for a chair as the high chairs are no use for a disabled person. No help given.

Staff very helpful and always willing to help and go beyond expectations. Environment very relaxed and lovely vibe. Extremely clean. Provided a room with a great view and the bed was comfortable.

After every shower there was an awful sewage stench coming from the shower drain. I mentioned this on two separate occasions and as opposed to resolving it, engineering blamed housekeeping and vice versa. This is not acceptable at this price point.

The room was chosen for the view of Sputh Manhattan's famous skyline. But the advertisement of the room is disingenuous at best, as a) the angle is wrong ,and b) the tree's block the view.

We requested a room with a view but looked out at an empty office block. Single ply toilet paper saves nothing and is not 4-5 star The shower in our room constantly ran hot-warm either faulty thermostat or poor water pressure

Really beautiful building in a historic and fully renovated location. I was absolutely astonished with the new DUMBO, beach walk, and park. Everything was great overall.

The water in the shower changed its temperature. It may be hot, then cold, then warm again. You need to book the swimming pool in advance. I was there for 3 nights and couldn't book a pool at all. But then I realized you can use the pool without booking, but you will not get a pool chair.

We had a really great time at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. We were quite shocked a little bit as the room that we first went was a mess with sofa on one of the beds and it didn’t look clean at all. However, the staff was very nice and helped us informing the manager and we got upgraded to the room with a better view. When we checked out, the staffs might have been very busy due to the high traffic of guests so no one helped us moving our luggages to the lobby. We got help in a very last minute before taking the taxi. In overall, we had a really pleasant stay at the hotel and would love to come back.

Room was exceptional. The view of Brooklyn bridge and New York at night will be a memory we will never forget. The room was large, more than enough plus by-fold window can be pulled back so you can watch and listen to the city was an unexpected and truly awesome feature.

The room layout was good ,although smaller than anticipated, especially after many visits to One Hotel South beach...fealt dark even with shades open. One television, hidden within a cabinet, opened and closed a number of times during the evening without any prompt. Toilet area not very private.

I enjoyed the stay, the concierge was very nice and pleasant, the room had an amazing design and layout architecturally, we had lovely views of downtown Manhattan, bed and room were clean, very comfortable stay overall.

Only that it's a bit pricey for a relatively small room.

The view of Manhattan from the room was EPIC, the most amazing picture frame window, night, day, in the autumn sun and in the pouring rain! Just awesome.

The staff. You'd think it was the Berghain. A level of bravado just didn't sit comfortably with me, especially after a days travel from London and a problem with the room. They did take care of things, but rather frustratingly only as I was checking out.

The hotel itself is beautiful and has the most amazing scent throughout the hotel. It is set in a wonderful location right on the river. My room had a beautiful view of the skyline and bridge. The rooms were very spacious especially for hotels in NY. The staff were very friendly and accomodating and gave me the chance to look at a few rooms available so I could select the room I wanted. I had two treatments at the Spa downstairs which were wonderful and the therapists were very good!

The spa could have been better if there were a sauna/ steam room and an indoor pool. I didn't expect a 22% gratuity to be included as this is above the standard rate for service and cost me an extra $100 just in tips. The only downfall to the hotel was that the main restaurant was closed on the nights I stayed there (Sunday to Thursday) but overall I had a wonderful stay for relaxation purposes.
