Hyatt Place Downtown, Nashville

Great location.

Breakfast was just ok.

The room was large with a lovely seating area and extremely comfortable bed. The shower was large and lots of clean white towels. Good toiletries. The view was fabulous and location very good as close, walking distance to the main areas. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The breakfast room and all of the reception and lounge areas were very cold. This meant we couldn't sit there and eat an evening meal or just enjoy sitting in the lovely lounge area. The breakfast was only adequate. There was a lack of choice and variety. We stayed for 6 nights so we're aware of it. Seemed to run out of food. On a couple of occasions we asked for something to be replaced, milk for example, but they said there was no more. But then on one occasion did replace it. At times, on the weekend, there was not enough seating for everyone. Often there was no ceramic mugs only paper cups and sometimes plastic knives and forks and polystyrene plates. They just didn't seem to have enough of anything really.

Booked 2 rooms with king size beds, checked in 1 hr after checkin time and they only had rooms with 2 queens, both rooms I paid extra for to have kings, only offered me drinks, I don’t drink, or late check out, I didn’t need. No other compensation

The fact that the location was within walking distance to downtown Nashville and the pedestrian bridge to the football stadium was the main factor in booking at Hyatt Place.

The parking situation is horrible! I was aware of the cost 42$ a night and was willing to pay it however when you get there there are no signs telling you where you should park and when you do find the entrance you can’t get without a key card. Push button for assistance goes to a voicemail. We waited 20 minutes for someone to help us get in.

The location is amazing! Very close to Broadway. Easy to find. Also close enough to walk across the bridge to Nissan Stadium. Also, breakfast was very good, especially for being complementary.

The pool is only okay and no hot tub, but most people aren't in Nashville to swim anyway.

Location is great. We had no issue with noise. Breakfast was adequate. I would stay here again the next time I am in Nashville. We will be back.

Exceptional location in Downtown Nashville. The hotel is comfortable with staff are helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, well furnished and clean. The hotel’s complimentary breakfast was of an excellent standard and the staff who supervised it were helpful and friendly.

Car parking at 50 dollars a night seems rather expensive.

The room was spacious and clean. We were downtown close to the strip but far enough to not hear the music late at night. The staff at the Hyatt Place was excellent; they were all polite and very helpful.

The location is amazing, just a five minute walk from the Main Street (Broadway), and the staff was absolutely fantastic, the ladies from the front desk always helpful, polite and friendly. Loved!

I liked the breakfast. Would have liked breakfast and gravy. I liked the location. Felt safe especially having to use my fob for access to elevator.

Parking cost was outrageous. Needed more blankets in the room. I tried to change the date of my stay and move it one night from a Tuesday night to a Wednesday night because of the Hyatt strike we heard on the news but a manager could not be reached and the answer was just no.

The room waslarger than a erase hotel rooms. The bed and pillows were heavenly. The breakfast excellent. The location perfect. Easy to get to off the freeway. I loved the bathroom. Walk in shower with soap dispensers and great water pressure. Overall a really great experience ⁰

The only fault I have is when I plugged in my phone it said slow charge and it never did fully charge.

It would be nice if they had coffee pods machines in the rooms.

Having to pay to park, and that upon arrival, our room was not ready! I received a confirmation email that check in time was for 4pm. We arrived shortly after 4pm to find out your room was not ready! We were in town for a concert and didn’t have time to get ready! Needless to say, we were not a happy customer! The front desk staff could improve on their customer service !

Either the booking system or staff charged me for the room two different prices on two different cards. The issue was resolved but staff seemed unsure about the questions I asked. I had also told them I did valet parking and they charged me for self parking on my card and I kept getting texts that I needed to pay my parking. Another staff member told me we were suppose to pay it through a third party instead of the desk. I was so confused! They may have been new.
