Location is very pretty. All staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great.

The slightly less expensive rooms are noticeably smaller. The location, while beautiful and quiet, is not very convenient for public transportation.

We have stayed here a few times. It never disappoints. Love the traditional interior of the hotel and the service with up to date technology.

The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide range to choose from. The Caruso restaurant was superb. Wait staff in both were very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. Nothing was too much of an effort.

The range of light evening meals at the rooftop bar was limited.

Best location in the city. Great views from rooftop terrace. Well isolated from city noises. Good service. Good breakfast. Comfy beds.

Lovely beautiful old property perfectly well maintained and perfectly positioned. The staff went out of their way to accommodate and the service was fantastic.

Clean facilities. Extremely caring staff, upgraded room was luxurious, very fresh bread and pastries at the breakfast buffet with 5 star coffee! Not sure where the few bad reviews came from!

The views, right across from the ocean. The staff was incredibly polite and professional. We arrived at 11:30am local time, and the room was ready. The breakfast buffet was filled with great choices and the maitre was always so nice and helpful. I’m glad we stayed there. It also has a Michelin Star restaurant. Every restaurant in the hotel has incredible views. The hotel even offers turndown service and the tub is a jacuzzi.

Service/location/professionalism/historical background

Stayed for two days in end October, the rooms were spacious, we were upgraded to a partial view room with a balcony. Check-in was smooth and very informative. Breakfast spread was excellent. Their sky lounge has gorgeous views and superb service.

Sky lounge was closed on one of the days we stayed. We were told its weather dependent.

Location and the facility itself was very good.

The staff, especially their restaurant recommendations were very poor. I assume such recommendations came from the reception staff not concierge though, I would expect from a 5 star Hotel to recommend better restaurants as we asked the best ones - they sent us to Umberto, a very very average restaurant I would never go. Another recommendation was Fresco on the sea side, again did not meet any of my expectation. Concierge sent me to Crude Re which was great, I expect from a 5 star hotel like that to recommend such kind of restaurants not the first 2 which ruined a dinner and a lunch for us.

the bar with the view, although quite expensive, break fast was good, the window with the view of the street and sea..

the pool was always closed.. we could not even see it, and we could not use it.

Unfortunately there was a G7 meeting in Napoli on the day we stayed in the hotel, and security was a bit annoying although it got better once they started recognizing us.

the pool hours, could bot use the pool the 3 days we were there, because the hours are ridiculous.. could not even see it. the staff when you called them from abroad... gruff, and not customer friendly..

Superb experience. The concierge and front desk staff were kind. The maître d in the breakfast room was so welcoming, it makes one wish to return. Fantastic rooms, beautiful view. The Sky Lounge also reflects the same! I felt very pampered, thank you!

There was only one place open for lunch. I would have enjoyed some options. Thank you.

Rooms are a little dated but very clean The Rooftop bar while, amazing and gorgeous, was extremely expensive. €25 for cocktails meant we didn't stay too long! Dinner in Caruso was satisfactory but did not feel like 5 star cuisine. The staff gave us a little dessert surprise for our honeymoon though, which was a nice touch!

No espresso machine in the room even they have service, also windows noise isolation could be better.

Excellent location by sea & nearby restaurants. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff and room services. Breakfast options were awesome. High quality sheets & towels. Efficient doormen made you feel welcome at all times.

Problem with bath/shower waste - couldn’t cope with volume of shower head water flow, so standing in 6 inches of water whilst showering. Cost of bar/terrace standard beverages was v high. €25 for Aperol Spritz & €15 for a German bottled beer! Swimming pool was closed which was disappointing given the hot temperatures.

The staff at the hotel were excellent. They were kind and helpful with luggage, directions, and recommendations for the local area. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet as it was well appointed with selections of both European and American cuisine. Great location along the water front.

The property suggests there is an outdoor rooftop pool. It is actually the size of a small hot tub and was closed during our stay. We had planned to relax in the afternoon by the pool on the roof before our early morning flight the next day, which was not possible.

The breakfast is exceptional. Everything was so good and fresh! The gym was very nice, the spa area very charming and cozy. We got an upgrade with our room and had a partial view on the sea! The location is perfect, situated on the water front. Lots of restaurants nearby. The room was super comfy, very clean and beautiful! The rooftop bar has an amazing view of the bay, it was magical!
