All that the hotel offered was above excellence. A heritage hotel, which any visitor will feel happy being there

All were excellent. A slight comment will be on the variety of south Indian dishes that seemed a bit less in the spread. Accompaniments like chutneys were missing. These are not complaints, but only one issue I could spot. Otherwise keep going

Always the pride of Indian!Definitely the highest level of hospitality.My 3rd time here and a must go to experince the antique, historic and glory from the past.

The hotel entrance didnt give justice to the interior hotel look and feel.Looking tired, small anf crowded.The main lobby is extremely beautiful but pack and busy all the time made it less exclusive for inhouse guests.

everything was perfect, but usually they keepmore varieties in the breakfast options daily, the menue keep changes daily, but this time it was quite the same menue daily

it was very crowded, cleaning was a little bit less, because of the crowed, the rooms are very small, specially with the big furniture, no space for circulation inside the rooms

The concierge and housekeeping teams deserve special praise for their professionalism and warmth. This iconic hotel doesn’t just offer accommodation — it offers an experience steeped in heritage, luxury, and timeless charm. Truly world-class in every sense.

Areas for Improvement: Bed Length: The bed provided in the room was relatively short for individuals taller than 6 feet. An option for an extended or king-size bed would enhance comfort for taller guests and better align with the hotel's premium standards. Wash Basin Noise: The wash basin emitted a noticeable and somewhat irritating sound during use, which affected the otherwise peaceful experience. This may warrant a maintenance check or acoustic treatment. Balcony Flooring: The marble flooring in the balcony became uncomfortably cold, especially during early mornings and late evenings. A carpeted surface or alternative material could provide better thermal comfort and usability.

The view from the room was breathtaking. An excellent room. Dinner at Golden Dragon restaurant was delicious. Breakfast arrangement was not desirable. We had to wait for more than 15 mins to get a table. Special mention to Mei at the reception. She was cordial, freindly and extremely helpful. Would also like to mention the names of Lovesh who made us fabulous cocktails at the club lounge and his colleagues Vikram and Yaseel with other staff made us welcome. Special mention also to the exceptionally knowledgable and experienced Mr Newton D'Souza who entertained us on the heritage tour.

Considering the cost for 1 night stay, I was a bit skeptical at first whether “The Taj” will meet my expectations & will be worth it. But starting with a warm welcome, smooth check in & ensuring my dad’s birthday is made special, everything was worth it. 🥰 Saurabh ensured that my dad’s birthday midnight would be celebrated in a special way (arranging the candles, small cake, foot spa) and offcourse my dad’s red carpet moment.. All in all, worth the money I spent to make my dad feel special 😌

Wonderful hospitality, impeccable service, excellent room, well-equipped gym, good food, therefore a most enjoyable stay!

From elevators to guest rooms, one has to descend every time a short (8 stairs) marble staircase with no markings at stair edges and no handrail for the first half, a safety issue imho that can be fixed easily

The architecture of the Taj Mahal Palace is simply stunning, with a perfect blend of luxury and heritage. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the service was top-notch. The room was very spacious, offering a breathtaking view of the sea. The dining experience was also fantastic, with delicious food options.

The check-in process was a bit slower than expected, and I had to wait for a little longer than usual. Other than that, everything was quite good.

The Taj service is impeccable! The hotel is actually like an art gallery with hundreds of beautiful paintings!

The only thing I would complain about is the concierge. He was not too useful in helping us do site seeing in Mumbai.He needs to be replaced.

The hospitality was truly exceptional. A special mention to Mr. Mayank Sood, the Front Office Manager, for his remarkable cooperation and professionalism. The rest of the staff was equally thoughtful and attentive, making the entire experience seamless and memorable. Highly appreciated!
