The location was perfect walking distance to everything.

Maybe it could use some renovations. It was a little musty smelling.

The hotel is essentially an art gallery stuck in time. But the rooms are large, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Had a great sleep and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this place. Would 1000% stay here away.

There really isn't much of a hotel breakfast, however there is a restaurant next door and one about a 5min walk that are EXCELLENT. The only issue is that the one next door doesn't open until 10am. It's not a huge issue, but if you're someone that loves a good hotel breakfast, like we do, it's something to consider.

Great atmosphere, close to several touristic attractions and the subway.

Location was great, positioned right between old Montreal and the downtown area. Everything was walkable. Our room was large, the bed was so comfortable, the AC was very good, almost a little too cold, but easily adjusted within the room for comfort. Breakfast was fine, two pastries, juice and a hot beverage - nothing exceptional and only peanut butter for protein. Staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly and welcoming. Valet parking was terrific and always very responsive and quick. Eclectic decor with lots of fabulous art to admire.

The hotel entrance is not accessible, two sets of stairs to manoeuvre, first outside and then inside up to the reception area. There are staff to assist if needed. The carpets could use a good cleaning in the bedroom. The shower access is a little tricky getting in/out due to the sliding doors, edging on the tub. There is no surface area for placing cosmetic bags/personal items within the sink area/bathroom. There are outlets but no lamps/etc with USB plugs for phones, laptops etc. Perhaps updating with those modern conveniences would be nice touch.

The location is unbeatable, close to everything. Our rooms on the 4th floor faced the busy street, but were quiet at night. We loved the spacious rooms and especially the art all over the hotel. The breakfast was more substantial than we had thought, with juice, coffee and two large pastries that were freshly baked and delicious. For a two-night stay, that was enough, although I imagine we'd start going out for breakfast to have more variety if we had a longer stay. The staff was great, particularly the ladies in charge of the breakfast. Loved our stay!

There was no bar of soap in the bathroom, and the toiletries provided were 1 each and wouldn't be enough for 3 people. We had our own, so didn't ask for more - I'm sure the hotel would've provided them upon request.

The staff was great. The valet service worked well. We were happy with the location; very central.

Very spacious room with high ceiling. Although located in the city center, the place was very quiet because the room was on an interior courtyard. This made it a bit dark but this does not bother us, as we only stay in when resting. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and the staff extremely welcoming and accommodating.

The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and incredibly efficient. The room amenities were better than expected, spacious and very comfortable. The shower was amazing. The mattress was decent for a good nights sleep after a long day of walking around.

I didn’t have a negative experience, so I can’t comment on anything here.

Inclusive breakfast was a pastry and a coffee. Disappointing for such a great hotel.

Beautiful, clean and historical and easily accessible to old town and pier if you like to walk.

It wasn’t the property’s fault, but we didn’t have electricity from afternoon til past midnight because of gas leak, so we had to take cold showers and didn’t have any AC on a hot day. But the hotel gave us flashlights and water and tried their best to make us comfortable.

Cozy room and lobby with fun color everywhere! The location was absolutely the best for a short walking distance to see the vibrant, old brick streets lined with cute little outdoor patio restaurants and stores.

Love the art and the vibe. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Easy walk to the old town tourist area or to a metro. Will stay here again!

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed complimentary breakfast, lady server for breakfast was really nice and always offered to help carry plates to table. Great location for easy access to Montréal sights.

Whilst in my room a drone flew right up to the window as I was lied on the bed it hoovered and then backed away slightly whilst still observing my room. A creepy guy in the parking lot next to Hôtel was operating it. I reported to hotel reception not sure they took it seriously just said that’s weird.

Great location in old town, , very spacious and comfortable room, coffee machine, art works all over the hotel, gym, simple pastry and coffee for breakfast, staff could not have been more helpful.

It’s a fantastic boutique hotel nestled in an art gallery. The service is impeccable. But the art! We went to every floor and were floored. We were upgraded to a suite and enjoyed every moment.

We loved it all. Considered ourselves fortunate to have stumbled upon such a treasure trove of art.

The front desk and staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious for 3, lovely and comfortable. Overall was very lovely with a combination of old and pop art.

They had water and coffee by the elevator, however wasn't always accessible (and did not include any sugar/creamer) for this coffee lover. : )

Really enjoyed the paintings and the design style of the hotel.

My bed was very soft...the bathroom didn't have enough room for anything only a small shelf to put your toothbrush.

We arrived early in the day prior to our room being ready. They took our suitcases and held them for the day allowing us to explore the city. We got an unexpected upgrade to a fantastic room at no extra charge. The breakfast croissants were fantastic and fresh. The hotel decor was something out of this world. Very unique. Loved it.

There was no ice machines in the hotel however the hotel staff would provide ice if asked. The hotel had several stairs to climb to enter the front without an elevator option. This was challenging to navigate with big heavy suitcases. The staff were not always there to help but when they were they were very helpful. Mind you there was an elevator once inside to go to any further floors.

Wonderful continental breakfast. Very clean with very helpful and friendly staff. Great location to see old Montreal and easy access to metro as well.

The staff, hotel design, location, and rooms are all great. The biggest highlight is for the staff—a young team with a strong dedication to service. Love it.

The gym is very poor. Lack of equipment. Lack of maintenance. Breakfast could be improved if it included some fruit. Only apples and croissants.

Loved the room and high ceilings and the hotel had a really cool vibe. Staff were very friendly and nice. The water and coffee available was amazing and breakfast was nice to have something although quantities were limited to one each which felt a little stingy.

the bathroom was a little odd with the toilet so close to the tub, so if you are a larger person as you might expect, using the toilet is not a nice and spacious experience. There was also no light over the shower so it was a big dark which didn't feel nice.

The room was huge with high ceilings and a beautiful view of a very French looking building across the street and the steeple of Notre Dame. The hotel is also an art gallery and there is cool art everywhere. It’s fun and not pretentious

It is dated. The TV sometimes lost connection. They have absurd, little triangular cups for water downstairs like you are at the dentist

The location was great. We were there for the Jazz Festival and found it easy to walk to the venue. The staff was very attentive and polite. I will miss my morning chocolate croissant

The hotel needs some maintenance.. We had to check out early because of plumbing issues, our friends had an issue with their key and had to be moved one day before leaving, and housekeeping didn't replenish for example; soap and tissues.

The stafff of young adults were super. Friendly, went way beyond the usual. The place was very cute and colorful and the room s were big and the bed comfortable. Breakfast croissants were delicious . The chocolate one was my favorite. It was not too far from the Jazz Festival activities in very nice upscale area.

The shower mechanism was tricky to adjust and our first few showers were very hot. Also,we had trouble with the room keys failing but were graciously helped out and offered another room- a suite - when the only key left that worked was the hotel master. Hard entrance for those with knee issues as there are stairs. However , I was helped by staff with y luggage.

Breakfast was just coffee, croissants and juice. It has been reduced since last year when we stayed when there was also a boiled egg and apple which in itself seemed minimal. Room was large if a little dark.

They forgot to make up the room one day. We booked in advance but rooms were still available at a lower price on th day.

Breakfast was so disappointing like most reviewers said. Don't expect great coffee or a delicious breakfast. Go out for breakfast if you want that.

Very fun and trendy hotel in a great location. Was a perfect place to explore Old Montreal and close to so many things. Was perfect for our stay walking and exploring Montreal. Very glad it had AC as was a heat wave. Breakfast was continental, so basic but homemade croissants were delicious! Staff were all amazing and very friendly.

Unfortunately our bathroom had a broken floor tile which was awkward to navigate by the shower, plus shower leaked on the floor. This was why I had to give a lower rating. Bathroom needs a Reno, and to give walls either a wash or repaint.

I had an old style connecting room which I typically don’t like but I didn’t hear my neighbor so it wasn’t bad.

I expected the location to be excellent, which of course it is, but the service and lovely, spacious rooms and art-filled spaces far exceeded my expectations. Perfect place to have family from far-flung areas of the U.S. join and experience Montreal for the first time.

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff was very accommodating. We arrived early in the morning and we were invited to have coffee and croissants. We were able to check in early and were upgraded to a suite which was exceptional! The location was great, walking distance to everything. Hotel was decorated with beautiful art work and the lobby/bar was very comfortable. A charming hotel. We will definitely be back!

Older hotel. Lots.of American kitsch. Friendly staff and clean. It's not cheap, but it's downtown in a city! Croissants and coffee are very European. Minutes from the Cathedral and Old Town Montreal proper.

The breakfast is horrible, the same two pastries every morning, and just two, you cannot take more. Given the cost of the room, I had expected a lot more for breakfast. There is no room service. I tried calling from my room many times, but no one answered the phone. There is no drinking water in the room. You need to come down and fill your bottle.
