Very unique and very clean. Rooms were large with high ceilings. Bed was large and very comfortable. Excellent location in old Montreal. Walking distance to many activities.

Housekeeping forgot to leave towels after cleaning the room. Couldn't figure out how the bathroom fan worked. Perhaps it was broken? The light on the makeup mirror also didn't work.

The pillows are far too soft for my preference.

The location is great, it is at the center, we could find easily restaurants, bars and enjoy walking day and night. The room is fine, we had 2 big beds. The breakfast were a bit poor for us, it was too basic, so we just enjoy the coffee and tea and went to eat outside.

Didn’t seem accessible for wheel chairs, etc., but I may have missed another entrance. Awnings over windows could use a cleaning.

Great cool vibe and perfect location. Very friendly staff too. We loved the room, high ceilings and nicely renovated, sound proofed, we were on the street level yet it was very guilt in the room.

The room was a double queen bed room. However 1 bed was newer and the other was older. I thought that they should have replaced both beds.

Would like to see room carpets removed as I feel they can really hold a lot of dust etc. No problems with furnishings. Unique and interesting.

I will happily return to the LHotel again. There are so many reasons why I loved staying here. First of all we were upgraded to a suite which was a treat. Every detail was considered. The room was perfect, the bed and linens were so comfortable. The bathroom was detailed with everything you need. The staff was delightful, attentive and helpful. The breakfast croissants were delicious, flaky and just perfect. A simple continental breakfast was all I needed. And to have valet parking available was a relief. No concerns about finding parking, LHotel took care of that. Well worth it. But, the real delight was staying in a hotel that loved art. Original art was all over the hotel. The walls were covered in a wide variety of incredible artworks and art objects. What a delight it was being surrounded by all this beauty and humor. Where most hotels consider artwork as less than secondary, fill a beige corner with some terrible print of something, the LHotel puts art front and center. This creates a joyful, delightful energy in the hotel. There is always something fun to ponder to examine, a visual wonder. I have never stayed anywhere that was so art focused and I cannot say strongly enough how this created a marvelous atmosphere. Art matters. Art changes the dynamics of a space. Location is also wonderful. LHotel is on the old "wall street" of Old Montreal. Meaning you are surrounded by gorgeous examples of early neo-classical architecture and more. Just walking down the street is fascinating. LHotel itself was originally a bank meaning it is an incredible building. It is also very easy to wander beyond Old Montreal into the other colorful neighborhoods of the city as well as down to the Port. The hotel will give you a list of suggested restaurants nearby. The ones we tired were delicious. I felt well cared for at LHotel. I will not stay anywhere else when I return to Montreal. And I have already told friends to stay here.

Loved the uniqueness and eclectic vibe of this great boutique hotel in the perfect location for all you want to do, see and eat in Old Montreal! Staff were welcoming and helpful. Morning croissants and coffee very relaxing in the comfortable ambience of the lounge bar. Room was clean and had all we needed. Bathroom was modern and well supplied. Loved the tall ceilings and artwork everywhere! Great choice for our long weekend away - thank you, L'Hotel!

Comfortable beds and a team that went out of their way to help and not always wanting a tip! Location is awesome too. Also the free breakfast (coffee/pastry) which was a lovely surprise.

Everyone on the staff seemed to give special attention to us. Reception, breakfast bar, help with suitcase up stairs, calling taxi for us, holding luggage for late afternoon departure. local restaurant recommendations. It is the people that make this hotel what it is.

Enjoyed the breakfast although it was served on throwaway plates. Loved the art in the room and public areas. Location was convenient.

Lovely gem of a hotel. Cool artwork throughout, old-world feel. Great location for all the things we wanted to see and do.

Just note that breakfast is croissants and coffee. If you like that for breakfast, it works. Parking is valet and some distance away from the hotel, so could take up to 15 minutes to get your car on a good day.

Well located hotel near the old town and other attractions. Our room was comfortable and clean with good AC and shower. The hotel is very charming with lots of art everywhere. We usually like a more substantial breakfast but the croissants were fabulous and the coffee was superb.

Lhotel is in a Great location just a couple of blocks from the historic Cathedral in old town Montreal. It is an easy walk to other sites in the old town so it is in a great location. The staff at this hotel is excellent and attentive. Our suite had everything we needed, it was clean and well appointed and very quiet.

The hotel is a little funky in its decor, but really it is fine. The breakfast is not very extensive, it is a roll and cup of coffee. But we did really enjoy the hotel.

Location was perfect, a short walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Breakfast was included that consisted of coffee, juice and delicious croissants. Interesting art work throughout hotel

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Valet was a great option and they were quick to retrieve the vehicle upon check out. Perfect location. Love the eclectic decor, the dark window treatments which kept the room dark in the morning. Room temperature was perfect. Since it was hot and humid when we visited, the water dispensers with fresh fruit inside were a welcome, refreshing touch every morning and at the end of the day.

When we arrived in our bedroom, there were dirty linens in a pile on the chair by the window. There was no bath mat in the bathroom. The bathroom floors are very slippery when wet so there should be something for the floor. Only one roll of toilet paper.

We had to carry the stroller up to the first floor before there was the option of an elevator so not super accessible.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby was cozy to hang out in. We loved all the art throughout the hotel. We walked all the hallways to look at the art. We chose not to rent a car, and found it easy to walk to different areas from the hotel.

The only things that weren't provided in our room initially were a Do Not Disturb sign and a bath mat. However, we did get them later.

I had unworkable Wi-Fi, which was promised as a amenity of the hotel. I tried both of the available networks and was not able to get a connection stay up even at low speed. I was in room 215 at the corner of the hotel and the Wi-Fi was completely unusable..

The elevator service had to be off service for housekeeping. Breakfast offering was a bit basic.

The art hanging on the walls all over the hotel are amazing, like being in an art museum. The continental breakfast was very good. The bar was also a nice, convenient location to have a drink and socialize. Staff were excellent and helpful in giving suggestions and directions. Room was beautiful, bed was comfortable, and bathroom was great with a large walk-in shower.
