Hôtel Monville, Montreal

Great location, attentive staff. It was very busy checking out on Sunday morning but the staff did a great job managing the valet and ensuring everyone got out in a reasonable time.

Location is excellent; very downtown but not loud at all, we were high up so we didn’t hear anything much at all. Bed was very comfortable and the rainfall shower was nice.

Room was much smaller than the photos indicated. The scent in the lobby is overpowering and unneeded. It absolutely will stop me from returning; with a scent allergy that causes migraines I would highly avoid if you also suffer from similar. TV casting and wifi was intermittently working.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Room was a decent size. Good location. Good valet parking.

The water pressure in the shower was too low.

I worked for a decade in high-end hotels and this property is exceptional. A real customer service experience completely devoid of any feeling of transactional exchange. The front desk staff are convivial and kind. The breakfast was delicious, the room attendants were friendly and communicative. The valet service is prompt and efficient. The management team should be proud.

Nothing really would have been perfect if they had a pool.

Easy check-in and check-out. Very good location. Very clean room and comfortable bed.

Room was small and not well-organized in my opinion. The sink was outside of the bathroom.

The only thing worth adding is a toilet brush. That is kind of strange that it is not there

Great price/value combination; upper floor suite was quite spacious and had a nice view over the city. Very good breakfast with a variety of options: pastry, waffles, deli.

There is only valet parking available. We opted not to use it.

We liked that it had a rooftop that we could get food or drinks downstairs and bring upstairs, or even food from outside. It was very convenient. The rooms were great, turn down service every day.

We just didn’t like that there were so many flies on the tables at the rooftop, like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, but other than that it was really nice.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. We loved the rooftop for a drink pre or post-dinner. The staff is friendly. The valet parking is very convenient.

We keep having issues with the wifi connection for one of the 2 rooms.

We have stayed at Hotel Monville twice and were impressed and satisfied with absolutely everything from the staff to the rooms and amenities . Really nice hotel in a great location , ideal to explore the city . Very clean , modern equipped , the bedding clean and fresh, which added to our overall comfort.

It was a very busy hotel obviously for its location and convenience. I was able to walk around to the main attractions of the city. The room was clean and nice. The bed was very comfy.

The breakfast could have been better but they offer everything you need for an okay breakfast.

Room was great, bright and great view we had. Bed is comfortable and the AC works great. Room cleaning service happens every day and the workers are always friendly when we meet them.

Room was a little bit tight for two people to move around. And some of the staffs are not that good at English and remember to say numbers one by one. The parking is kind of a problem. They have the parking area but needed staff to move the car around when you need. The parking valid needs to be improve that people may get the wrong car of yours.

Almost perfect. My only complain is that I had to login to the wi-fi network every day. Everything else waa great!

Room was very clean, view was incredible from 15th floor overlooking the city. Location was great and close to everything. Chinatown was a 5 min walk away. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were awesome.

Location was superb! Clean and staff are friendly.

Surprisingly got upgraded to a suite with a high floor so no complaints with our stay. We were only there for one night so didn't make use of any facilities. There's a public parking lot a short walk from the hotel so we parked there instead of using their valet service. Very well located as it's a short walk from the old town and several cafes. Checkout was a good time as well.

Breakfast delicious with lots of choice on offer, including chocolate croissants! Enjoyed the rooftop terrace, the very clean, modern & creatively laid out room with great shower. Staff were warm, friendly and extremely helpful and efficient, especially when I forgot an item in the car and one of the valet parking staff escorted me offsite to retrieve it. Great location for proximity to Old Montreal, Chinatown, Place des Arts, etc.

Very nice stay. The staff was excellent, they are extremely nice and understanding. The valet parking was also a plus. There’s a nice bar in the lobby, the mocktail was excellent but it is pretty pricey. Nonetheless I loved my stay here everything was clean in the room, the view from our bedroom was beautiful and the location was perfect. It’s right in the heart of downtown.

The only downside was that the tv wasn’t working :(.

This place was absolutely beautiful. Loved the minimal aesthetic. The lobby and room was beautiful and very clean. We were obsessed with the view of Montreal from the floor to ceiling window! It was our anniversary and it seems they upgraded us to a higher floor! Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Valet was prompt and convenient. Location was perfect, would recommend to everyone!!!!

room is pretty small in size so if you are a family traveling with lots of stuff this may be an issue for you.. however for a couple it was perfect.

The location is second to none! The hotel never disappoints when it comes to food options at the restaurant in the lobby be it breakfast or the dinners that we tried. Bed was comfortable. And I loved the water closet-divided bathroom. This hotel is my go to whenever I visit Montreal! They also made some special accomodations for my birthday.

I unfortunately got really sick halfway through my stay, and I was surprised and somewhat disappointed to learn that room service was no longer a thing at the hotel but I must say the included breakfast was amazing each day of our stay. And although it was available by request, it was also surprising that there was no iron in the room.

I had a significant discount which made this property worth it. The location was good and the restaurant was fantastic considering the limited menu. 99% of the staff was wonderful. The day time manager was extremely polite and fixed an issue we had with paying for an included breakfast.

The room was very small, not enough to open two suitcases at the one time. The sink was clogged but water went down eventually. The pictures make the rooms look very modern but there is room for improvement. The day time staff were a little rude.
