Everything was perfect! The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was great. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

I loved the location, it was a short walk away from most places of interest. The rooms, beds and bathrooms were clean and tidy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The other guests staying were fantastic too! Their breakfast and bar was great, and all the events they did every evening were conducted well!

In my room, the AC wasn’t working properly and had eventually started leaking, causing a bit of a puddle mixed with all the dirt and mud brought in by the shoes. Moreover, the lockers cannot be locked properly, which is not great, as we want to keep our valuables locked. The worst part was that my luggage was too big for a small lockers, which is strange coz it was a normal international size suitcase and not exceptionally big. Something really needs to be done about the lockers.

The breakfast was amazing with a good variety. I loved the unlimited espresso. The location was perfect for the duomo and other major sites, and access to the airport was easy. Staff were kind and helpful.

The price. It was the most expensive place on my trip.

Everything in Ostello Bello was wonderful. The people, the location, the kitchen conversations with strangers. Group areas are lovely to socialize and meet different people in. Complementary drink when you arrive and their included breakfast buffet is great.

Room cleanliness is good but could be managed better. This is normal for hostels though and considering the amount of people that were there, the staff did a great job accommodating and running the location.

The hostel was very good, the staff was friendly, they offered us free drinks at the hostel bar. It took me less than 10 minutes to go to the Duomo cathedral, so it was very good, the areas where I could sit and relax at the bottom of the place were very nice and comfortable, and I was also happy that there was an elevator when I got back to my room after walking around so much.

Excellent location, staff were very helpful and kind in assisting so I could get the best out of my brief stay. Not a cheap hostel, but not a cut-price experience either. Good sense of community in the staff team. Power supplies were available in the rooms, places to hang coats, and decent shower.

Not everyone likes a triple bunk setup, but it wasn't a problem in this case. Louder than I would have liked due to the bar across the road, but I keep earplugs when I travel :)

Very welcoming, kind and informative staff and the room i was in in the newer building on the fourth floor was very comfortable.

First stop of my trip around Italy and it was perfect, the hostel felt more like a home, everyone was so friendly, the staff were helpful and involved themselves in making sure everyone had a good time socially

The noise if you stay in the old building on the first floor isn’t ideal as the bar is directly underneath but nothing some earplugs can’t fix

I stayed at this hotel for one night. The bathroom was very nice, and there’s a comfortable common area to hang out and meet other travelers, which makes it a great option for people staying in Milan for a longer time and looking to socialize. However, I did run into an issue during the night I stayed. The hotel uses a smart key system, and some guests arrived around 2–3 AM but had trouble getting into the room. As a result, there was quite a bit of noise in the middle of the night, which disrupted my sleep. I’d suggest the owner double-check that the smart keys are fully functional to avoid this issue in the future. That said, if you’re not a light sleeper, you’ll probably enjoy your stay here.

Pressure and temperature of water in the shower.

So pleasantly surprised that in a city where I couldn’t find a room for under $400-$600 (fashion week?), this came up for $120. I’m 72 and hadn’t stayed in a hostel since college, and was in a room with 8 bunk beds. Everyone was considerate of the others, there was a food and drinks (even a bar, with a free drink), so it was just fine for my one night stay. Belongings were kept in a pull out locker under the bed. Enjoyed a glass of wine outside at one of the 3 tables. Perfect!

The staff - everyone - were fabulous, really friendly, really helpful, totally inclusive, didn't bat an eyelid at a older person checking in to this predominantly younger person's hostel. The atmosphere in the communal area, great buzz, great bar/cafe on the ground floor. Coffee etc always available free, similarly simple but good food available - for free for residents (also a decent menu option available if you want to pay, good value as well). Superb location 10 minutes or less nice walk from the Duomo area. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Sheets were supplied anyway, towels on request. Washing facilities were slightly limited, one combined shower, washbasin and toilet in an 8 bed dorm; I had no problems but I imagine there must be a queue at busy times.. Great price. But back to the staff, superb. They all make this a great place to stay. Thank you.

I really liked the staff, everyone was polite and ready to help I liked the renovation, it was comfortable and beautiful The kitchen and lounge area I liked the room, the bed was very comfortable, it was closed with a curtain, there was light and charging for devices

The only thing I didn't like and I would really like it not to happen is that they put a girl from the aggressor country (russia) in my room (6 beds). As a Ukrainian, I found it very uncomfortable to be around her. I hope that in the future they will pay more attention to this.

I really liked that the room had a bathroom only for this specific room ,for the girls that we were sharing together and not like other hostels that I've been to where the bathroom is common for every single room. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom. The room and the bathroom have one hairdryer each and in the room there is a mirror in the table with lights around for you to do your make up or whatever, and the hostel also provided make up remover in the room.

At night you could hear clearly water running through pipes or something it felt like it was right next to us. But it didn't last long, about 20 minutes. Maybe someone was taking a shower in another room. And noisy outside around 22:30-00:00 but later it was okay nothing that keeps you awake all night.

Location is really great! walking distance to Casa Infante and Ciacco(gelato), Piz (pizza), Peck, en Duomo. Free drinks and fruits. SUPER nice and friendly staffs. Very helpful! They arrange all different activities for hostel guests. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Milano next time!

One of best hostel I stayed. Staff was really kind and well professional. Unlike other places Duomo provided fee welcome drink + unlimited food with self cooking facility. Room , toilets and cloths were super clean and lot of things to do , all arrangements are done easily hang around .

This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at! First of all, the location is amazing — very central, easy to reach both the city center and the train station. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the setup gave a real sense of personal space: each bed had a curtain, a personal lamp, and charging sockets. Everything was perfectly thought out for comfort. The showers were big and clean, and there were never any queues or issues. One of the things that really surprised me was that on the verandas, they always had free snacks, fruits, coffee, tea, and water available — it was such a nice touch! But what impressed me the most was the kitchen. It was incredibly spacious and, honestly, the cleanest hostel kitchen I have ever seen. They offered free pasta, pasta sauces, spices, vegetables, fruits, and sweets — you could easily cook a full meal without needing to buy anything. It really showed how much they care about their guests. Also, every evening they organized different activities — dinners, games, parties. The atmosphere was super friendly and welcoming. Overall, this place left the warmest impressions. I would highly recommend it!

Good location and friendly people

Best hostel I've been so far!!! The location ist perfect for sightseeing or to start exploring the city. It's very close to Duomo and there you also have access to the metro. There is always someone at the reception to welcome or help you and the whole staff is extremely welcoming, helpful, kind and lovely. The dorms are awesome - there's enough space, the beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is also great. If you need privacy, there are curtains hanging in front of each bed, making it even better. There's a terrace on the top floor to relax or you can use the wonderful lobby, which is always occupied by someone of the staff and you get a welcome drink when checking in. Finishing it off, I met some great people in that hostel. To sum up, it has been a wonderful stay at Ostello Bello Duomo and I can 100% recommend this to you all.

I was staying in the old building and the rooms are in good shape. The bathrooms of the common areas are a little decandent. The staff is very kind.

Proximity of the city centre (Duomo) and friendliness of the stuff.

Wi-Fi signal was not consistent in my room. First evening was very noisy party until 2am, but not sure if it was in the hostel or came from elsewhere.

It's a beautiful experience.The location is very close to Duomo. Everything is nearby Metro, supermarket etc.Staff is very friendly plus you enjoy the inhouse pub with nice music.🍻

The location was great ,15 minutes by walk to Milan dummo and 10 minutes to metro and 5 minutes to a tram station.and in a busy and crowded neighborhood. The hostel has great plans for weekends and the bar gets really crowded. All in all it was an amazing experience staying there.

it would be better if the beds has a little privacy ,even a small curtain.

For the 1st time in Milan I had to say was very pleasant! From stuff to all people out there taking care of Ostello Bello I have to say was very easy to access all facilities and very welcome people from the stuff and room clean and nice ! Grazie a tutti ! Ciao Bello Ciao Milan !
