Great vibes, excellent breakfast, staff aimed to be inclusive to events, lots of spaces to interact or chill on your own. Location was great - tucked away but still very central. Loved the welcome drink as well!

It's always nice to have a curtain with the beds to limit distractions and provide privacy, but that would require a big overhaul. And a wine opener in the kitchen would be great!

Everything. Im not a share-ur-room kind of girl usually but this place gave me the BEST experience. I had booked it few times when ive stayed there because i wanted to stay more. The whole atmosphere, all the workers always smile amd responsive and have a laugh and helps u with EVERYTHING u need. Listen, as a princess that loves her Airbnb account-believe me-it is actually better then having ur own place, cause here u are absolutely feel at home. And in the female dormitory u have tampons and whatever girl needs so it melted my heart. And even when i had to book the mix dorms-they let me feel super comfortable after having a not so good experience with his and also that room was super comfortable. PERFETTO HOSTEL.

Needed more women’s bathrooms for 7 women dorm room. Nights a bit noisy.

Awesome hostel in a really good area nearby the point of views. The bar in the hostel was awesome and it was a good place to connect with different people and cultures. I had a good time there and enjoyed the stay

Lovely staff and good location. There’s free tea and coffee etc which is a nice touch and I felt very safe

Not loads of space on the bottom bunk and couldn’t sit up fully without hitting my head, quite expensive for a hostel but think this reflects Milan prices

It’s clean and the staff is lovely. The breakfast was really good and the location it’s accesible, you can walk and arrive everywhere.

The staff were so welcoming when I arrived. My room was comfortable and I met some nice people.

The hostel entrance opens right onto a lane where people drive up and there’s no footpath so you are stepping out onto a road. Just have to be careful!

I booked breakfast for 2 days, it supposed to be served at 7 am. I had to leave early one day and the breakfast was delayed about 40 minutes so I leaved without the breakfast i had already pay :(

The ultimate standard of a perfect hostel with tons of activities all week with some meals included in the stay. Friendly staff and international vibes all around the hostel, best part is it is right in the centre of Milan and walkable to everywhere. ACs in the room and very new facilities.

Location really close to Duomo and you have everything around the hostel. Reception very helpful. Each room has own bathroom.

Less choice on breakfast and everyday was the same, also if you came later there might be some food finished and they don't replenish the food when it runs out at the buffet.

I stayed in 6 dormitories room it’s quiet small but it’s ok for a short stay, The location is great close to all what you need, it’s about 10 mints from Dumo metro station, the stuff were all really friendly and helpful, also in the 3rd floor there is a kitchen you can cook if you want, and they provide coffee, tea biscuits for free . At night it’s quiet noisy overall it’s nice place to stay at

It’s looks old building but very clean & the Room is small, the bed is not really comfortable

The AC sometimes didn’t work well

Great location, really cheerful and friendly staff. I never saw one of them without a smile on their face. I had 3 nights here this time - it was my second 3:night visit. I was here in May 2024. I'm back for a one night stay at the end of my trip in mud September on my way back up to Paris & the UK. Have stayed in other OB hostels and am booked into more for this current trip. Great operation (though perhaps a bit expensive - but then I suppose you get what you pay for!!!) Would very happily recommend and every happily become back - indeed I will be doing

Minor issue - I opted in to the Friday pub crawl, met as told in the bar but failed to make contact with whoever was leading. Partly my fault I suppose - should have queried at reception. Another minor point - I knew there was a kitchen and terrace up top - but there's no signage. I only discovered them on my last day last time. Perhaps they need a bit of publicity? These aren't complaints, just suggestions to make a great place an even greater place. Btw - I'm not a typical backpacker (though I backpack a lot all over Europe - I'm a 66 year old pensioner - but still 18 in my head. So not a youngster but the place makes you feel you're still young, 'up for it's and ready for whatever... Certainly no ageism here - and there is in some hostels....

There is no curtain on the bed to create privacy. Since the rooms are shared for women and men, it would be more comfortable

It was excellent. They had little pizza things for free in the evening, essentials in the room like make up remover, fem products. Their staff was lovely to deal with always helpful

Great location! I stayed in a 6 bed mixed room. Beds were comfortable and bathroom facilities were clean. Staff were friendly and helpful! You receive a a token for a free drink when you check in.

Beds don’t have any curtains so maybe feels a bit exposed, otherwise nothing.

I like the place, the vibe and friendliness of staff. They even helped in booking the taxi going to central station early in the morning.

Suggests to give optional ear plugs just in case roommates are snoring. =)

I love the friendliness and hospitality of the staff and how the place and people really just give a relaxing vibe for my holiday stay. I stayed in an 8-bed dorm so it was fun meeting new people and other fellow travellers and holiday-makers. Bidet and good shower temp is of course a big thumbs up for me. They have nice activities every night which they keep you posted using the app or the bulletin board by the bar. Not sure if it's only for summer, but they do l'aperitivo time from 18:30 so enjoy the mini buffet when you buy any drink at that time. I think that's only for hostel guests. The kitchen on top floor is quite convenient and has airconditioning on at some times. Don't miss hanging out on the roof top terrace or on the 2nd floor terrace with a net hammock.

I was there summer and the room was still a bit warm even with the airconditioning adjusted and all doors and windows kept closed, though it's manageable at certain cooler times of the day. Maybe the airconditioners are just old. As usual, as downside to any dormitory hostels, some other guests can be insensitive with time, noise and lights so bring your earplugs or sleeping earphones and blackout eyemask. Also they don't have an all male dorm room, which I would prefer than a mixed dorm. I'm hearing some sound of furniture movements on the upper floors late at night, I'm not sure if that's just the sound of guests moving stuff or using underbed lockers.

The hostel cafe seems too much busy that after evening it seems like a party place filled with most of outside public and too busy for the guests to join in

Great location and value, the staff is very nice and friendly.

I loved the reception and kindness. The place itself has some nice spots like the terraces. There is also a cool brekfast. Central location. I had previously booked somewhere else and they failed to receive me. So this Ostello pretty much saved me. The person that received me was very empathetic and super nice (genuinely, might I add!) I failed to ask his name, but he definitely deserves a raise :)
